I’m a huge fan of Sephora, however I will no longer be able to support this store. I purchased Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel in caramel. When I got it home I noticed it was separated and seemed very dried up. I checked with the manufacturer and it was four years old with a shelf life of 18 months. I understand mistakes can happen. What really discouraged me was when I went to return this item at Sephora with my receipt. The Sephora manager seemed completely unbothered by this. My return went smoothly but there was absolutely no care about the products being old or the fact that myself and everyone else could receive expired cosmetics. As I was leaving I went over to the Anastasia section and immediately picked up yet another expired item. I took it back up to the manager who still had a completely carefree attitude and I left the store. I will not pay full price for expired cosmetics nor should I have to worry about searching every product I purchase from Sephora to confirm I’m not buying expired cosmetics; no one should have to. This is obviously not a rare occurrence.
I always love coming into this store. I visit at LEAST once a month, sometimes more. Exceptional service, friendly and personable staff, and of course they always have deals of the week. So new things to check out. I would give it 5 stars IF they had consistently good makeup artists. Every once in awhile I get lucky like for prom last year. But sometimes its just not something very wearable.
Great staff was helped by Eleanor she knew everything I needed to know and helped me pick out some products that have been working perfectly.
Eleanor did a tremendous job on my daughters makeup for homecoming
To pricey for me, but I went with my mom so she could pick a dress, she found one she liked.
How can a Sephora not know Sephora products? I brought in my Play! By Sephora points card and the cashier wouldnt honor my points. I also had to argue with the cashier about my getting my birthday gift. I had to show her on the app where I can still get my gift as she kept saying I had to get it in the year my birthday is. My birthday falls just three days before the New Year. Furthermore I had put back half my order due to her inability to properly check me out. I kept a few sales items. I paid and walked out and looked at the receipt as it was about $22 more than it shouldve been. She didnt charge me the sale price. At which point I went back in and told her and that I just want to return it all at this point. She finally asked for help to confirm that they were sale items and gave me the sale price refunding me the extra difference from full price. Long story short this is the worst experience I ever had at a Sephora, and makes me never wanna go back. Plus whats the point of keeping Play! if the actual stores wont honor the points even. It seems like all the demos and such that get advertised with Play! havent happened in a long time, but now not even getting points. What the point?!?
Went in there today to pick up some products I ran out of. The two ladies working there today were so helpful and friendly.
