Everybody was very friendly and patient when our party took a while to decide what we wanted. The food was very delicious and unique and was affordable and fairly priced. I live about 20 minutes from the bakery but when I am in town I would definitely visit again. I highly recommend for anyone in the area to give it a visit sometime.

I visited Honeymoon Bakery recently and was blown away! Their cupcakes were so cute and absolutely delicious! My family and I tried the almond cloud cookies and the wedding cake cookies and we were all amazed! They were the best cookies weve had! The bakery is super cute and has a large variety of sweets and treats, theres something for everyone! I definitely recommend anyone in Rome or visiting Rome try Honeymoon Bakery!

We visited the Honeymoon Bakery for the first time yesterday. WOW! Delicious!!! Between the 3 of us, we shared a chocolate mousse, cream cheese brownie, sour cream fudge mini cupcake, and Reeses mini cupcake. All were tasty, but I have to say, the chocolate mousse was my favorite! I hope to get by there again before our visit to Rome is over.

I have been here many times and it never disappoints! My personal favorite is the cream horn, but please leave some for me! The cupcakes are amazing and my kids love the cookies. We also had a cake made for my daughter’s birthday and it was amazingly decorated and tasted awesome!

Breakfast service needs a little honing but the baked goods and the service are top notch. The New York Cheesecake was the best Ive ever had. The peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookies are very good as well. Theres a macaroon on top of a chocolate cookie that made everyone at my house rave. Super nice people.

Ive tried several things from the bakery, and Ive yet to have something I didnt like. The fruit tart is absolutely delicious, as are the Italian cream cupcakes. I just tried the chocolate mousse today, and it was way better than I expected considering I dont normally like chocolate desserts like that. Cant wait to go back and try some more sweets!

White cake with buttercream. How can they do it so well? But then again, there are 30 other things in the case equally as magical. I suggest trying the mini cupcakes in different flavors first, but the layer cakes are even better because the layers of frosting help keep them from drying out. When is our next birthday/shower/celebration??

Every town needs an excellent bakery and honeymoon bakery is it. We got gelato, cannoli, a pecan bar, key lime tart and Italian creme cake, one of my favorites. All delicious and huge selection at 7:30 on a Friday night.

Sticky bun was great! Crispy outside and doughy inside. Croissant was not great. Also the sausage balls were very tasty.

I have been here 3 days for work and every day I have made a stop for these delicious goodies! The frosted sugar cookies are my favorite! If I’m ever back in town this will be my first stop! The staff and service were awesome!

Their stuff is as tasty as it is eye catching. Ive never special ordered a cake that wasnt almost too pretty to eat! Always stop in to Honeymoon Bakery when in Rome. Its been here for a long time [native Roman here] and is the go to place for pastries and sweets in town.We ate here and had a sausage biscuit. The biscuit was huge and I love big southern biscuits but this is huge! The sausage was a disappointment. A bit thin and hard. Biscuit was 99% of the meal! LolTable seating can be a challenge for folks as larger tables are available but it means knocking elbows between cupcake eaters and biscuit eaters. Hmm. A few small tables do exist.Theres a window in back where you can watch cake and cookie decorating. Shop is kind of small but is big enough you can change your mind without having to go back outside!Great for deserts and maybe breakfast depending on what you want.

Ive been a loyal Honeymoon bakery customer for 10+ years, using them exclusively for birthday celebrations and weekend treats for our family. Their red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting is unbeatable, and wed had nothing but good experiences with the small items weve ordered from Honeymoon until my recent December 2020 wedding. I had a TERRIBLE experience trying to order my wedding cake. In fact, it took 5 months to get my cake ordered because of the lack of communication with the baker. Each time Id ask for a call, Skype, Facetime, etc. to go over the cake and get a visual of what it would look like, I was only met with more emails until my father went in person to Honeymoon to speak to the Manager himself and understand what the issue was. We finally had a call and were able to book the cake. The cake did not look like what I had envisioned, although it did taste great on my wedding day. Id recommend just sticking to using this bakery for your everyday baking needs, but do not recommend for big events.

I have not been in the honeymoon bakery for a long long time. Today I went in there looking for soft baked goods for my mother for Valentines. The service was awesome and the girl that waited on me help me pick out things that my mother could eat. If their treats and baked goods are as good as their service I would rated a 10! Always friendly and quick service despite long lines. Everything weve had there is so good. We have to restrain ourselves when we order. Gelato, macarons, cookies, cakes, fruit tarts, etc. Try it all, especially the chocolate mousse. Also, recently remodeled so they have more seating inside or you can sit outside. Definitely a must if youre in downtown Rome.

Discovered a hidden gem in downtown Rome Honey Moon Bakery, upon entering it is an immediate feast for the senses. Everything and i do mean EVERYTHING looks incredible, food channel gourmet quality....which explains the tropies on the wall. You can pick anything you wont be dissappointed 3 trips later with 2 weeks. I went for a cookie and left with 6 cookies, 4 brownies, a creme brule, cannoli, 2 cupcakes and a ridiculous awesome rice crispy treat...that was only first trip. The staff is even better than the treats...if possible, remarkable pleasant friendly and helpful. Particularly Jimi who not only remembered me from intial visit assisted me in trying new things. I highly recommend you stop for the occasional, treat, event cakes and desserts or in my case a cheat snack. Extremely reasonably priced and definitely worth the stop.

Honeymoon Bakery is the best place to go in Rome to order a special cake. I’ve had five birthday cakes made at Honeymoon so far, all with exacting decoration requests, including one that was a giant piece of sushi and one shaped like a cat. Honeymoon Bakery never fails to impress. The decoration staff have great communication and always understand how I’d like for the cake to come out. We have enjoyed each one of them for how they look and how they taste! Besides cakes, they have the cutest seasonally decorated cookies! We also love to stop by and get the occasional eclair or cream puff.

Incredible selection! Delicious pecan bars, turtle brownies, pralines, and carrot cake cupcakes. Only wish the cookies were a little more “gooey” in the middle. Yummy desserts and great prices!

Honeymoon created a beautiful dessert bar and centerpiece cake for our wedding day and WOW it was delicious! Our tasting was delightfully easy and super fun! Kate was a breeze to work with and handled all of the intricate details for our order effortlessly. They delivered all of the desserts and set up the dessert bar for us! It was stunning and SUPER delicious! They have very competitive prices and create beautiful desserts!

One of the best and really only dessert places in Rome! We have tons of ice cream shops but not bakeries. The treats here are delectable and the staff is friendly. My favorites are frosted sugar cookies, chocolate mousse, Oreo cheesecake brownie, and the chocolate covered coconut bar! So yummy

I was waiting in line for 5 minutes to be waited on. I let someone in front of me to place an order. Then I waited for the next person but she just ignored my presence and walked to the man beside me when I was there first. I just brushed that off cause he was just picking up on order. She then came back and looked me in my eyes then asked the couple behind me if they were ready. At that point I was over it and left. I loved coming to honeymoon but for that reason I will not be returning.

I was watching Spring Baking Championship when the owner of this bakery was on. I had to go there. I did and the staff are wonderful warm and kind. The food was most excellent. I will be back soon!

My husband and I love this bakery. We live in Athens but have family in Rome and make it a point to get cheesecake from them whenever we’re in town. Prices are good and the food is delicious.

First time out of state visitors on a trip to visit family in Rome. All we can say is WOW! This is what a bakery should be. Lots of options in the case to choose from. We couldnt decide what we wanted because it all looked so good, so we bought 14 different things so we could sample a lot. Each and every item was fresh and tasted just as delicious as they looked. If we could give it 6 stars, we would. We will definitely be back on future trips!

Bought our wedding cake here. It was magnificent. The baker listened so well. Every detail was perfect. Everyone who attended loved it. As a matter of fact. We are still receiving compliments on it. And its been 3 months. Highly Recommend.

If you are in Rome, Georgia this is a must stop. Just beware, everything is good, and you will get carried away, and be broke when you leave, haha. The cupcakes are fantastic, especially the red velvet ones but the cheesecake brownies top it all.

I called to order a cake for a coworker. All I did was drop off a small pack of peppermint patties and really let them do their thing. GOODNESS.... this cake was unbelievably delicious! It was chocolate inside with a minty white butter cream frosting with dark chocolate poured over..... O.M.G. Better than I would have ever asked for. This was a small cake to feed about 5 and was so affordable.
