Took my car over (on a recommendation!) for a broken heater core, and found out my evap core was also busted. It cost about exactly as much as I expected (given how expensive the parts from Mitsubishi were and near 3 days of work on my car), with no BS or run around from these guys trying to rip you off. They also fixed a two year issue with my wipers at no additional cost, which words cant describe that level of joy. Even after only a few minutes talking with the owner, its clear he KNOWS his stuff when it comes to cars and that he has a lifetime of experience behind him. I plan to recommend this place to everyone I know, and I expect to be back for my next inevitable issue.

Weve been customers of JM Autoworks for years and have had great service at fair pricing every time. We wont take our cars anywhere else.

I had a positive experience with them 10 years ago and know a family who takes their car here. I knew Id need a front and rear break job for my car, but. they couldnt take my car the morning I called so I made an appointment for later that week. I thought their price was fair and they were done after a few hours. All is well with the car a week later.

Good shop for auto repairs. Reasonable prices and quality work. Quoted price is always pretty close to what youre charged. Occasionally the quote is a little higher than what you pay. Only downside is no weekend hours.

J&M is a great shop they do excellent work our mutual friend (Auri) referred us to them and ever since he referred us thats where we go to get our cars repaired!!!! You want your work done right take to J&M and they dont charge your arm and a leg and your first born, only your 5th or 6th born hahaha....

I was recently referred to JM Auto from my mechanic of 10+ years. My 1st time with them and I could not be happier. I was charged less than quoted because part of my repair did not need to be done after all. I would not have known the difference! That is honest on their part!! It was an electronic issue that most would not understand. That is why I was referred to them in the first place. Great place to deal with.

I was driving to ISU in Normal IL from Chicago, when all of my sudden something under my car started to scrap and I pulled over to find the bottom panel was off scraping, of course a screw up from the honda dealer who just did my oil change less then a week ago. I then googled mechanics to find J M the closet to me from the expressway. They were all kind to me and was able to help me ASAP even though it was a busy day. I was thankful that they were able to look at my car and fix and bolt my bottom piece to the car. they done it so fast and he gave me a fair accurate price. I have no complaints great shop here!

My car was towed to JM Automotive accidentally. (Towing company mistake). I had a shredded back tire. JM was able to remove my spare tire (it was rusted in place) and install it for me. They did this for me even though I had no appointment. This was over the Christmas holiday and they were heavily booked.They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them for future work.

Most honest reasonably priced mechanic shop I have dealt with. They can handle almost any repair that other shops would refer to a dealer.

My car started leaking coolant. After getting the coolant topped off by Jiffy Lube twice and them telling me it looked like a hose leak I went around the block to J M autoworks. This being my only car and having 2 kids I needed it taken care of right away. J M tested it the same day even though it was after 4 when I brought it in. They couldnt get it in for repairs til the next week which is completely understandable. After they got a good look at where it was leaking from it turned out to be the water pump that needed to be replaced. They got the part in and installed within 3 days which is awesome for a VW. I am so happy that I have an honest and reliable mechanic so close to home!

They were the first to diagnose my car properly and fix it. It took a time coming back, but they didnt mind working on it until they got it fixed.
