Needed a new tire and they were closest to my house. Service was good. Dont know how their prices compare to others. Its been a long time since I needed anything but regular maintenance.

Really disappointed in this Firestone. They made a 9 am appointment and when we got there They said they didn’t have the stuff to fix what was wrong. If they knew they didn’t have the stuff to fix what was wrong then why make the appointment. Even last time when we had the appointment we still had to wait for a good hour before they could fix the car. Why would they even make appointment when they know they can’t keep them or they don’t follow them? I would not recommend them.

Excellent Customer Service! Had the pleasure of interacting with Paul he is professional and had us in and out with a change in my old battery change. Anytime weve needed work to our vehicles Paul will let us know the time frame so we had a choice to leave the vehicle their and come back for it. So far no issues on whatever needed to be repaired. Quick service, explained the cost up front, no hidden fees, and didnt try to sell me something I didnt come there for. Not many service centers can do the same. One of the best Ive been to. $40 for a Synthetic Oil change is right around the sweet spot in terms of cost l. You can find the cost to be anywhere between $35-45, not bad at all.

Lost me as a customer for good! I made a appointment for a alignment after doing work on front suspension. I showed him paperwork from last alignment from them vehicle left not adjusted correctly. I caught him In a lie he said the (caster) was not adjustable, when it is you add shims to upper control arm. When I questioned what I am going to get in this alignment he got upset and was told only going to set the (toe) half the job for $95. I left there and went to Goodyear Mickeys Tire & Service on Normantown Road and got the full alignment no issues all for $69.99. Please ask questions and know what work they are actually going to do.

They wanted to charge me $2200 to repair my car, went to another place and had it done for a $150. They completely lied to me what my car needed. I will never again trust any Firestone companies

My go to place for car oil change and repair.

I brought them a set of new wheels that I had purchased online to have them mounted and balanced with the existing tires on my Focus ST. I was not in a rush and told them to take their time and work with other appointments first if necessary. They still did the swap quickly and the job was done before I expected. The wheels are flawless and were installed with great care. I also appreciate that they parked my car in a section away from other vehicles to avoid any careless dings. As a car enthusiast, I would certainly recommend their services for tire/wheel installs, and they were far less expensive than the Discount Tire down the road.

Every time I call to schedule service appointments and when Im in the store I get courteous & professional service & treatment. I always feel welcome & recognized & acknowledge when I arrive. I love that they give me a Military Veteran discount most of the time. The only time Ive ever had a problem is the 1 time I left my car for service and was dropped off by a worker, it took waaayyy longer than they said it would but gave me a courtesy oil change coupon when I expressed dissatisfaction. Been a customer for a couple of years and only 1 complaint!

I rarely write bad reviews and honestly hate doing these. So a few years back I go in to get my alignment done(I bought the life time alignment) and they tell me they cant give me my alignment because my control arm is bent, I take it somewhere else and they tell that my control arm is fine. So Im frustrated, and I dont return. Fast forward 3 years, today i bring it in for alignment and they say that they cant do my alignment when I bring it in because my tie rods wont move and say it will cost me $400 to replace. So I go home, and I check, and what would you know? My tie rods are fine. I just dont think this place is a reputable buisness. They are actively trying to sell you on unnecessary parts and labor. Especially in a time like now when people are hurting for money, I cant believe a buisness would take advantage of their customers like this. I would recommend you go literally anywhere else before you go to Firestone. Terrible customer service, terrible service, but mostly its a shame they treat there customers this way.

Good service but ridiculously high prices! Paid $72.00 to replace a headlight bulb. Was told it was for labor because they had to remove a wheel to do it, but was only waiting about 20 minutes.

Stopped in to ask a question about tires. The guy that was helping me was very knowledgeable and gave me some different options to think about. I wasnt expecting the level of help I actually received here. I didnt walk out with the tires I was looking for, but the experience was still over-the-top.

I had an appointment for 5PM for an oil change. I arrived on time, check in was smooth. 30 minutes later I notice my car hasnt been touched. I ask the front desk representative how much longer it would take, he said an hour and a half! On top of the 30 minutes I already waited. Took my keys back and left. It left a bad taste in my mouth that I was not told that they were running so far behind when I checked in... I couldve wasted less time. Whats the point of making an appointment if it does not get honored?

We have 4 cars and take them there frequently, we have tried to get in for 3 weeks for oil changes. Finally made an appointment for two cars for first thing, 8AM and right after. Dropped one of at 7:45, called at 10:30 and were told it will be at least another hour and our second car will be done by the time they close. Why take appointments?Firestone did get back to us later in the day and explained the problem (which was legit) and even compd our second oil change. Kudos to them!

They had me tow my car to the dealership when I only needed a tune up. They could not figuerr that out? They are only good for oil change and tire rotation. They are just another Jiffy Lube.

I went to Firestone because my AC wasnt working. After a couple hours of my vehicle being worked on (and a lot of money), they ended up just adding more freon. I left, but soon found out that the AC still wasnt working. I brought it back and they took another couple hours of looking at it and finally told me that they dont know whats wrong and I need to take it elsewhere. I took it to an auto shop and they were able to find the problem. Another issue they found though was that my AC was overcharged because it never needed the freon that Firestone added. I dont understand why the people at Firestone said that they could even fix my problem when I originally called. Obviously they only know how to change oil and tires.

Hi everyone, Firestone Romeoville il did lifetime alignment of my Hyundai Sonata. After few months when I went to Romeoville location on Weber. The service supervisor told me that one nut on inner tie rod is jammed and now there is no option but to replace the whole inner tie rod. I suggested that if we can heatup the nut it can loose as per my knowledge but he told me technician did everything but its not working. He quoted me for new parts and labor. I took second opinion of another private mechanic shop and they assured me that no need to replace inner tie rod and they can easily fix the problem. I immediately called Firestone customer care and explain them whole incident. They booked my appointment at another Firestone location and to my surprise another Firestone location loose that nut by heating up and they fixed the alignment within few minutes. I believe Romeoville location wrongly advised me so they can have more money out of me. I was thinking to take my another car to Romeoville location for lifetime alignment but because of this bad experience I decided not to go there anymore.

Avoid this place all they want is to up sell you on anything they can. I was in for a oil change and they checked my tires and said they found a screw in the tire, which I was fine with until they wanted to charge me $30.00 to fix it. I said no thanks, I will go to Discount Tire where they will fix this for free. That is exactly what I did btw. While waiting for my oil change all I heard was this guy trying to up sell everyone that came in the door. I also noticed on my receipt I paid for my old oil to be recycled, however, on the wall they have a sign that says they will take your old oil in for free. So if I change my oil myself and bring them the oil there is no charge, but if I pay them to change my oil then I have to pay for them to recycle it. Just doesnt make any sense. Not going here again.

This is my second visit to firestone. Im very happy to find a mechanic service that I can trust. I will always come back for my cars needs.

Went in Oct 25,2018 for new tires, fast forward to Feb. 30 2019 went in for a New Battery because of the record breaking cold had frozen the old one. Went home installed the new one and noticed my light for low tire pressure was on. Drove my car to this location with only 4 cars in the lot and Im sure at least 2 belonged to the employees I was told to leave my keys and theyll call my when its done in 2 hours. I told them all I want it is air and the tires are only 3 months old the guy at the counter told me they were busy and thats the best they can do. I said never mind got in my car and called customer service and the representative told me theres another location in Joliet only a couple of miles away. She said shell call them to let them know to expect me. Went on my way only to find the location closed because of weather. The rep. didnt bother to call me back. Bottom line poor customer service and Firestone doesnt honor their warranties. To bad because I live in Romeoville, guess Ill be going to Walmart or Blains farm n fleet. Save yourselves the headaches.

One of my friend took his car with customer for the inspection, My Friend said he has a Car for a long time never had check engine light in it, as soon as they inspected the car Check Engine Light Turned on, I believe they lift the car messed up with the valve solenoid. How come someone driving a Car for a long time period and there was no check engine light as soon as they inspected Check engine light turned on. They should fix that problem cause by their Mechanic who ever inspected a Car.

I went to get my tires full of air and I had to wait almost 20 minutes and when greeted it was very cold and uncaring second time I went there and had the same treatment I need new tires but I wont get them there
