I went to turn in the truck and the employees did not check in the truck and i got charged an extra day and fees. when I called the manager Mike, he rude, self-centered and said that he did not have any boss over him. He has poor customer service and his staff needs to be trained. Mike didnt want to give me his area managers number to complain about him and his staff. Dont rent from this place.

This is one of the few U-Haul stores nearby me that has propane. I went in for a propane refill for my motorhome. The employees were helpful, efficient and had the proper safety gear on. The only downside to this store is its on the corner of two very busy streets, driveway is a bit small and it can be difficult to maneuver a larger vehicle in and out of the location. One of the employees took time to assist me as I was backing around to get out, I really appreciated that.

I asked to change my reservation last second during a rush period. The computers had mild lag and there was some lady who left the line to find her documents that was constantly interjecting. Daniel of U-haul Rosemead handled the situation like an absolute pro.

Good luck trying to get someone on the phone here; its like this place saves you money only because they dont actually hire enough people to work with the amount of customers the have everyday.The equipment is well maintained and the staff is help, but just way overworked.

Really dysfunctional, we had a appointment to get wiring done here to be able to tow a trailer. They knew we were coming it seemed but once we got here there was only 2 employees working at the whole place, it took forever to through the line because the twin people had to do jobs at the front desk and would leaving when they are helping us to go do something outside with our saying anything. Also there was supposed to be someone here to do the wiring and I guess the person who does it is the boss and he’s not even here for some reason.

Worst place I have ever been to. I bought a large size wardrobe box to return a large item that I bought on Amazon. I only folded the flaps, so the box could fit in my small car. I returned to the store 30 minutes later to return the box which only had a few wrinkles on the flaps because of the fold. They refused to give me a refund stating that the flaps were wrinkled. The box was unused and had no tape or anything on it. The most ironic thing was that on the box itself, it had the sentence that they will 100% buy back the boxes as long as they are unused with receipts. What a bunch of liars! Beware not to buy any boxes from them if you are unsure if you are going to use them or not. Hopefully, they are going to lose a bunch of prospective customers who are reading this post. Worst business practice ever! Not even an attempt to offer me half price or something for the box!

Service was outstanding. I returned a truck over night and also booked one for the next day. The staff was courteous and efficient in getting everyone taken care of. The only downside is the lot is pretty small, other than that they get an A+.

I called morning reserved a 10ft truck. Kathy helped me, shes patient, friendly & professional. I was given a 60 miles both way from Ontario CA to El Monte CA. When I arrived to Ontario, a lady named Valerie entered 30 miles instead of what was given by Kathy. I end up paying another 40 miles without actually looked at the paper that she typed up before I leave that uhal pick up location. Fortunately, I was only charged a minor portion of mileage fee $0.40 per mile. So beware of your phone reservation vs. the pick up location. They are not really being ethical and it could cost you if going long distance. Bad location customer services!

Ordered a pod through uhaul only to get a call the day before the pod drop off that they were expanding the drop off time to sometime between 12-4pm. I asked if I could get the number of the movers that I hired through uhaul so I could reschedule the movers, but was told by Danny he couldnt get that information. Of course when I called back and spoke to someone else, they were able to obtain that information for me.Called the movers and they were able to re-schedule. The next day the pod didnt show up. I called and asked what happened and was told that Danny cancelled my pod. He didnt give me a call whatsoever. I wonder if he did it out of spite...Moving is stressful enough, there is no need to make the move more stressful. I canceled my order with usual and decided to pay another company more money for the job to be done correctly. I will never use Uhaul again, nor I would recommend this company to anyone. Honestly, you would get better customer service with anyone else.If you need a pod for your move I recommend using Upack or 1800-pack-rat. They were able to deliver a pod to my place in a few days and actually showed up on time as promised.

Good u-haul facility staff is helpful but a little over worked.

Called and the call center for u-haul was super helpful and did everything for me, too bad when i went into the store they undid most of it. Very strange and unorganized environment.

He worst customer service Ive ever seen the assistant manager Mike was rude when I first arrived he said oh Im done with propane first he told me it was empty then he tried to say I couldnt fill my tank because it wasnt ventilated it was obvious he did not want to help a customer or do his job if I was a store manager I would definitely look at the reviews and realize he probably has a lot to do with the bad reviews

Always take photos when renting a car at this store, otherwise they will ask you to pay for the broken car more than a month after returning the car, and remember to take photos.
