I brought my daughters car in for an alignment because she hit a curb and her car was pulling to the right. Upon further inspection, there was serious damage to the control arm and the strut. They gave me a quote that I thought was really high! My initial thought was that they just wanted to add on additional services and I was certain we only needed an alignment so I wanted a second opinion. After getting a second opinion, only to find out the exact same diagnosis, I returned to Brakes Plus to have the work done. It was worth it because they were….. wait for it….. $600 cheaper than the other guys!!!!!!! I was from out of state and needed the work done that day - they took excellent care of me. Jason, and Hector were incredible - professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. The entire Brakes Plus staff was caring and kind - you felt they were all a team which says a lot about Jason’s leadership there. They are definitely THE guys to see with any tire, brake, suspension, or alignment needs! Thank you for saving me so much money and getting me back on the road to drive safely!

I came here from discount tires because I caught a flat the day before, Rockwall policeman changed my tire but stripped my lug nut in the process so the guy who fixed my tire recommended this brake plus location and Im so glad he did they had 2 search high n low for the parts but they found them and didnt even charge me so thank u for that I will forever use these guys dont try to get over or anything they are going to tell u whats the problem if they can do it or not so I like that about them and thanks Jason again for your extraordinary customer service A+

Worked with Jason, and it was such a great experience.My niece needed a break booster installed and Jason worked with us to give us all of the info needed. He made us feel comfortable and handled all of questions and never hesitated.When doing repairs you want to make sure youre doing the right thing. I called Jason after being told I needed all four of my rotors changed and all my brake pads. The place I went to before quoted me a little over $1,000. I spoke with Jason the General Manger. He told me to bring my car in and they would take a look at it. They checked everything and quoted me $510. They let me know my rotors were fine and my brakes needed to be changed. I felt like they were honest and not just looking for money. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a honest answer!

These guys went the extra mile for me! I had a tire issue but I thought it was something else. They let me know what the problem was, actually put my spare on for me, even though it wasn’t a service they charge for! I couldn’t believe how well I was treated. Installed a coolant reservoir in my Audi, but filled the system with the incorrect type of coolant. Audi coolant is a pink color, not the regular green coolant that we all have got to see at one point in our lives or another. But, its still running just fine. Dealership probably brought that up just so they could over-charge me for another item on the list.

I needed an alignment on my Jeep Rubicon so I dropped my Jeep at noon expecting to just return before closing to pick it up. I stopped for lunch at a nearby restaurant and just as I was about to leave the restaurant, I got a call from Kevin telling me my Jeep was ready to pick up. WOW, just a bit over an hour. I just returned to pick up my Jeep and man, did it drive better. I am VERY tuned into what is right and what needs to be looked at and my alignment was off for sure. Nice and tight again with NO wandering on the road. Thrilled to have discovered them. I was referred by Discount Tire who is another favorite car services provider.

Excellent service. Didnt have my brakes in stock and they were able to get them 30 min before closing. Test drove it after and something still not rt. And they stayed an hour after closing to make sure it was good to drive

Josh, the manager, and his team were great! Took to another brakes plus that misdiagnosed the issue and said it was just caked on mud. Josh evaluated the problem, called and informed me of what it was and then comped the charges. Have been here for my vehicle and my wife’s. Highly recommend!

The service was perfect! They had a television in the waiting room that informed you on so many things dealing with your car and the whole lobby loved it. Sunday, sons vehicle timing belt broke while in route to work. One guy stopped to help, my husband arrived as well and the guy(Passer by) offered to give me a number for an on-call mechanic. I thanked him for the offer and advised only one business services our vehicles and thats the team at Brakes Plus at the Rowlett location! We got the vehicle home, I did some research, called Brakes Plus Monday morning for help, spoke with Josh who sent tow truck that arrived shortly after the call. This type of excellence is service has been consistent for me since my first visit. If I could give 10 stars I easily could. I went here some time ago, because I got a coupon in the mail for them. I went in for a $15 tire rotation and when they finished with my car my windshield wipers were suddenly no good. One of them was now very obviously practically hanging off my car and they asked me if I wanted them to replace it. It had not been like that before I went in, so it was clear to me they had done it. I now ended up having to have them replaced, but I did it elsewhere. They told me I needed new parts for each wheel, because when I was driving the part was going to start to shred my tires. They also happened to have a rebate going on where if I bought 4 of the parts I would get my money back for one of them. I thought this was suspicious and got a second opinion at another car shop in Rowlett and they checked it and told me there was nothing wrong with my car and that they often hear horror stories about the Rowlett Brakes Plus. I called the shop to address it and the guy on the phone tried to tell me that the other shop did not look at it right, because since theyd done a tire rotation they would have looked at the wrong two tires. Yet, they had told me it was an issue with all 4 tires not 2. My tires never did end up shredded and I saved myself a thousand dollars by not falling for it. That was my first and last time to go there. I would not recommend this car shop.

Cost 45p for a master cylinder called back a week later to get a copy of the recipe spoke with a guy and was told I couldnt be helped hung up three times and told me never shop there again called plano store and they sent me what I requested with no issue

This place saved my life! My brakes were so soooo bad and it was gonna cost almost 700$ all at once to fix, (which I did not have all at once) I was unsure what I was going to do!! And the man that helped me his name was, did everything he could to help reduce the price to my budget.. he put coupons in and brought it down to 655$ which wasn’t much.. and I explained I couldn’t afford it .. so he took the loss and said he’d give me my roaders for free, and only charge 450$ he told me he’d do 450$ for everything.. to get me back on the road safe!!! I’m so thankful for these guys!!! Customer service was such a priority to this company!! He made sure I wasn’t leaving without having what I needed fixed!!! So I’d be safe!! I recommend 100% and I will come here and send every family member here for service from here on out!

I had my A/C system repaired/replaced this past Saturday and I am totally pleased with the results. I dropped off my vehicle at 8am and had it back by 1pm...A/C is working great!!! Not only was the mechanical service great, but the customer service was just as amazing. Kevin even worked with me to stay within my budget and I was able to save some money. I will definitely come back to this location for any future A/C or brake issues.

OMG! When I say and these gentlemen LITERALLY saved my life, I am not overexaggerating! I went in for a quote on my brakes and though it was very affordable I was not able to pay until Friday (3/12/21). Instead of being concerned with money, they refused to allow me to leave without working with me and what I did have, to at least get brake pads put on, and we agreed I would come back Friday to get the rest done! These men (and my boyfriend) are angels in disguise and refused to allow me to drive and I thank God for you all. I almost went somewhere else but im glad I ended up here!

Easy and got my state inspection done in no time

Had originally purchased brakes, shocks and struts in 2017 from this location, so took back in 2020. They still hard warranty on them, so the team explained what was happening and took care of replacing all parts under warranty. Very thorough with making sure nothing was missed and had me back up and running by the end of the day. Great work and great staff.

Joe was great and extremely honest. He could have charged me 700 dollars to get my air conditioning fixed in my car but he didnt. Instead he found out that my car had a recall for the air conditioning and I was able to get my air conditioning fixed for free by my vehicle manufacturer. Ill definitely be going back here.

My brake pads needed to be relplaced on my Lexus, and while I typically work with my dealer, I didnt have time to go to Dallas, and frankly tired of paying dealer rates for regular repairs. I called Brakes Plus and scheduled an appointment for the next day. I worked with Kevin Ledbetter, and Bob (not sure of last name) who did a great job answering my questions, providing detailed options, and I was able to get my car back within a few hours. The owner, Josh, is the driving force for this particular store. His vast knowledge relating to service and repair of cars is extraordinary. His team of mechanics are held to a high standard by Josh. When I was towed to his store last Friday, April 17, 2020 I was in distress. My drive shaft had disintegrated on my Honda CRV. He was patient, put me at ease and went to work. He calmly advised me I had two options and had no problem with my decision either way I wanted to go. I asked a few questions. He told me an estimate of each decision. He gave me examples of the outcome of cars like mine when a conversion was made from a 4 wheel to front 2 wheel. I made the decision and have been satisfied ever since, plus because he gave me the option that was more economical, I didnt walk out bankrupt! Thanks Josh! Ill be back with all my car needs (except tires and for that I go to Luke @ Discount Tires, Forest Lane and Plano Rd.). I would drive 50 miles to just be in your store for my repairs. You are trustworthy and that is a rarity when it comes to car repairs I have to say. Ending on a positive note - my Honda is quieter since Im am no longer a 4 wheeler! 228,000 miles and still driving it!
