Amazing, professional, and friendly service. The employees were knowledgeable and offered exemplary service. We bought a stove from them and was thrilled with the experience. A few days later while switching fuel companies the fuel person was able to unexpectedly fix our broken stove. We called to cancel the order from Rutland Appliances, not sure if we would be able to after purchasing the stove, and they were wonderful again to work with. We received full money back with no problems. When our stove finally goes for good we will most certainly go to Rutland Appliances for our next stove!!!

They actually have inventory that you can buy and take home with you! They’ll deliver, too, with a beautifully, refreshingly reasonable timeline. Called this morning to purchase a new Bosch washer and dryer over the phone, sales person that answered (Brian?) claimed that Bosch doesnt sell washers and dryers, and never heard of them. I was in disbelief, couldnt believe it. Thanked him for his time and called Best Appliance. Within 5 minutes, Best Appliance was able to complete my purchase of a new Bosch washer and dryer and schedule delivery within 2 weeks. Dont waste your time with Rutland Appliance, just call Best Appliance and save yourself the headache.

Rutland appliance had the washer we were looking for at a good price. Delivery was outstanding! Kyle and Joe called before delivery and checked on health and safety concerns before arrival. Once here, they were efficient and professional with removal and install of new washer. Kyle made sure it was installed, leveled, and functioning correctly before giving a quick tutorial on its functions. Clean up was spot on. Definitely will come back and recommend to others!

I ordered an LG washer/dryer set. Kyle and Chris came to take away the old washer/dryer set and install the new one. They were efficient, competent, and friendly. It turns out the floor in my laundry room is not level, and they took the time to make sure the washer/dryer would be. They didnt even mind when I asked for a few minutes to clean the gross floor when they moved the old appliances. They were careful not to scratch up the floor when moving things around. They made sure I understood how the new appliances worked and answered my questions patiently. These guys really know what theyre doing. I highly recommend!

I purchased a washer and dryer from Rutland Appliance. Thier prices beat the larger stores by about $250, for the same exact machine. Sales people where very proffessional and informative. Delivery guys were great, came in got it set up very quickly. Good bunch of people!!

Kyle and Tim who delivered our appliances today were terrific. Very accommodating when we learned that they could not disconnect the dishwasher. We had been told that the only thing the delivery people would not be able to do was unhook the old stove and hook up the new one. I made arrangements with our gas provider for that to happen, but we were not told about the dishwasher. My husband decided to unhook it himself so that Kyle and Tim could take it away. Now we wait for our busy plumber, whose services I certainly would have arranged had I known. Can’t eke out that fifth star because of that.

Do not recommend for repairs. They were the first ones who could get to me, so I scheduled a service appointment. The repair person spent most of the first visit googling our model of refrigerator, then said he would need to get back to us about what the problem would be. We waited... a week later, I called to schedule him to come back out. He did, and replaced a thermostat... which made no difference. I bit the bullet and called a competitor who took two weeks to come out, but when he did, he was far more professional, quickly diagnosed the issue, and actually fixed my fridge. For LESS than I have paid to Rutland Appliance.

Rutland Appliance gets five stars. It was a great experience from the moment we walked in the door to when the delivery team brought our new appliances to the house. Robert met us at the door and worked with us for the next hour to find us the appliances we needed. He was friendly, knowledgeable and not the least pushy. The appliances were delivered by Trey and Kyle. This delivery team was amazing. Even though getting the appliances in was a bit more difficult than expected, they made sure everything was the way we wanted it.

I called in (because I live over an hour away) to see if they had any used refrigerators available - they did not have anything that met my requirements - they did, however, have a shipment with some “scratch n dent” items arriving that day, and there was a new fridge, which did meet my needs, available on that truck. The price was good, too - especially since I was looking for a large capacity, used fridge. So far (I bought the fridge a week ago), the fridge is working well. It is a louder fridge, especially for something newer, but I had gone online to see the reviews for this particular item, as I had not heard of the brand prior (Insignia) and that model had a 4⭐️ Rating, with several reviewers noting that it ran a bit louder. The noise was not an issue for me, because the fridge is in a different part of the house than we are generally in. All that being said, service, item availability and transaction were spot on. Highly recommended - Thank you!

Ordered a washer and dryer and the installation process was admittedly difficult - it didnt fit in the initial location. We found a different location but then they started complaining that they were late to their next delivery and took off quickly. They told us everything was good to go but when we started the washer the drainage tube was just going to the ground behind our washer and dumped water on the floor and leaked down to the first floor and the basement. I called to explain what happened and the owner called me back but didnt listen to anything I was saying and took the word of the delivery guys (who said that we told them that wed install it ourselves -- that doesnt make any sense and is obviously not true. If that were the case, we would have known to look for the drainage pipe). The owner then talked condescendingly at me for over a half hour and told me everything I was saying was untrue and that it was all my fault. I get that accidents happened and I simple Im sorry would have resolved the issue.

Totally agree with other reviews that commend Rutland Appliance & Jonathan for their excellent customer service, knowledge of the appliances that help with selections and reasonable prices. We have been going thru a condo rennovation for the past 5 months and had many challenges due to supply chain availability and delivery. Jonathan provided outstanding customer service throughout and always with a positive outlook. Delivery sesrvice & notifications were great. We prefer supporting local businesses over box stores and this is one you can be glad to support!

Got an amazing deal on a Samsung refrigerator from Jonathan- delivery was very prompt and the delivery guys were incredible with getting the unit up two flights of stairs and a second story overhang and through a very tight opening into the kitchen. Everyone was very kind and courteous

Since I first walked into the store just to get comparison quoates, it has been an excellent experience. The salesman called me the next day to see if I needed anything else. Rutland Appliance is the only Efficiency VT location for Rutland. The showroom is small and not impressive at all. Upon entering the store I was not greeted as another customer was chatting with the only person present. After much confusion with Dale about how the program works Jonathon took over my purchase. He was polite and professional. I was not able to see the item I was purchasing in person, could only view it on their computer which is not an ideal way to shop; however, I was pleased with the new refrigerator I got. The removal of our old fridge and the delivery of the new one went very smoothly with Phil being an excellent representative of the store; he was so pleasant, helpful and explained all about the features. He did a great job and cleaned up all the wrappings etc.

The sales people are very knowledgeable. they have been very upfront about delivery schedules when we ordered on a holiday week, also told us to check other local vendors. they might have had a higher price than the box store in town but they where very honest about it.

The folks at Rutland Appliance really stepped up for us during the Covid19 lockdown in Vermont. They not only found the item we needed, they delivered it to our garage (arranging for no contact/social distancing) in Barre. Ill be turning to Rutland Appliances for future needs. They are wonderful.

Last week I went in on Saturday morning looking for a dryer. Though they were very busy and I indecisive, within half hour I had bought an excellent machine well within my price range and ideal for my needs. They agreed to deliver it first thing Monday morning. As I am a long-time customer they even waived the delivery fee. By 1030 Monday morning my new dryer was installed and in use. I cannot praise this company highly enough.

I ordered a refridgerator at Home Depot on 6/09/20 and after bad delivery I was told I could not get my unit until around 08/10/20 earliest. I called Rutland Appliances on July 2nd and bought the LG unit I wanted from Jonathan at Rutland Appliance on the same day. I picked it up on July 7th. There was a pin screw missing on the door and Jonathan had one for me the next day. I needed a place to bring old refridgerator. Robert another staff member told me no problem, no charge. Try and get the same service from Home Depot or Lowes, I tried, forget it. They were so kind efficient that even though I live in Huletts Landing I will buy all my appliances there. The best place to buy any appliance

Washer was leaking. Called them and they took care of entire sale and scheduled delivery over the phone. They installed a few days later when I was out and had the HOA let them into our condo. Came up this weekend and all looks great.

I needed a special size appliance delivered quickly I was also not near this location. When I called. They said if I could get measurements it shouldn’t be a issue. I gave them the measurements and contact number they said I should be all set and they handles everything from there with no issues Thank you

We had our refrigerator compressor die the day before our renters were due to arrive. Rutland Appliances had a refrigerator that was the same size in stock and delivered and installed it before our renters checked in. They were fantastic and we really appreciate it!

My wife and I just recently purchased a front load stackable washer and dryer, and when we arrived at home, we noticed that the dryer had a scratch in the chrome bezel on the door. We contacted appliance depot to see if this issue could be resolved, as these appliances are brand new, and they were unwilling assist us in any way. Also, the set was not sent with the mounting brackets (which they say is an additional cost that we weren’t made aware of), nor did we even know was necessary until we opened the owners manual. I don’t recommend anyone to buy appliances from them, as there is NO customer service unless you’re willing to spend more money. Once they get your money they are all done with assisting you.

Very happy with Appliance Depot in Rutland! I bought a refurbished dryer from them for $199 and it has worked wonderfully ever since. The air conditioner I got from them has been fantastic as well! They carry all major appliances in both refurbished, and new. I would never shop anywhere else.

Seems like some good deals. Staff was friendly. Although we had to wait a bit to get helped. We asked about something we saw listed online. Has to have an employee go out and bring one in. (Not sure if it was same one tho) kid went they said it was all set . We noticed some crucial pieces were missing from the box of said appliance....oh...yeah guess so...okay thanks anyway ...went to home Depot. Paid more. Felt relieved.

I purchased a combination washer dryer. Had a problem with it when I first got it and called the store. Spoke with Johnathan who passed me off to Robert. I was talked down to, stupid me, didn’t know the washer wouldn’t start washing until the tub was full of water, REALLY. They sent a repairman out who was very pleasant and found that the hot water had been turned off to the machine and that’s why it wouldn’t fill It still only fills half way but was told because of the new water saver regulations the new washers don’t fill all the way. I can’t believe my clothes are going to come clean with just a half a tub of water. Not happy at all !!!! Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone !!!!! Feel like I’m Stuck with this thing unless I want to call and argue and be fed another line.
