My wife and I each bought a car to replace our aging vehicles. The place seemed crowded with buyers each time we went in, but the hectic pace of serving customers was mitigated by the low stress atmosphere in the dealership. I was helped by Philip Maxwell. Philip was very knowledgeable and amiable. Turned out to be a neighbor from a couple of blocks away. He helped me settle on a slightly used Legacy demonstrator that will suit my need for a smooth running, dependable, hospital volunteer taxi. I think the riders will be pleased with it. It rides like a limo compared to my old pickup truck, and the little sports car I had been driving. It has all the safety toys, too. Should be easy to slide walkers into the trunk, and a lot of grocery bags in either the back seat or in with the trunk with the walker. I think the passengers will be pleased not to have to climb up on my booster step to get into the truck, and will find the seat extra comfy when they get in. As we were wrapping up the details on taking delivery this afternoon, Philip was called away to assist another salesman with a bi-lingual customer. I bet that person was pleased and surprised to find a Spanish speaker in Rutland, VT! Thanks Phil!

From that first day all the way through the entire purchasing process of our 2021 Forester, we liked Steve! He is THE BEST of what one hopes for in a car salesman: candid, prompt with follow-up emails and return calls, and doing what they say they will do. Last Tuesday when we went to pick up the car, most importantly to us, he spent over 2 hours walking us step-by-step through the technology, helping us learn what we needed to know to operate it safely. As it had been 12 years since we purchased a new car, technological advances meant many changes from what we were used to. Steve was patient, respectful and kind in answering our many questions, even repeating when necessary.
