I took my X-type there, and I had a great experience, price was fair,and way cheaper and friendlier than the Jaguar dealer itself.

Alex and his staff are amazing! They saved me nearly $3,000 I would have otherwise wasted at the dealership. Thank goodness I found them. The repair they did for me was 1/3rd the cost of the quote I received at the Jaguar dealership. We all know that owning a Jaguar is pricey, but at least now I can maintain my addiction and pay my mortgage too.

Excellent customer service and very thorough inspection and explanation about my vehicle and what it needed for repairs, all reasonably priced and much better than dealer pricing.

Went to British Car Service for the first time yesterday and I was very pleased with their service and Alexs knowledge of cars. This was the first time Ive taken my Land Rover into the shop. I usually do my own repairs due to price. I had to take my LR in for an A/C check and British Car Service was able to get it done right without killing my wallet. Alex talked with me about all my options and possibilities before I went forward with the service. Everything went well and now my A/C is blowing ice cold. I would recommend British Car Service if youre looking for a British car repair shop that wont rob your wallet and does honest work.

This place is honestly one of the most honest car service shops I have been to. They fixed my car, gave me a way better price than the dealer, got the part I needed ordered to them asap, offered me a donut, wifi, and gave me all the options. Also, they are very knowledgeable and know a lot more than what a typical mechanic does reading the books. These guys have experience and honesty.

I was a British Motors customer for over 3 years. Drove from Stockton to get my car serviced and Alex worked with me with my days off to ensure I was able to pick up and drop my car off conveniently.I liked the service and Alex would explain to me what was going on with my car and how its supposed to sound and perform what was going to be done to correct the problem. I felt I was getting good service for those 3 yeaes.In May 2018, I made a list of things I wanted checked on my car to ensure I would not have to bring it back so often . It was feeling like the more I got fixed on my car the more it broke down.Alex kept my vehicle for 8 months, until January 2019, which was okay because I wanted to ensure they had time to work on it and do things correctly. It was disheartening to see when I got my car back the wood lacquer finish on my drivers side window frame was cracked with pieces missing, Alex said he did not know what happened. It wasnt like that when I dropped the car off. There were no cracks at all. Also, my drivers seat rocked, which it never did before and the leather was cracking. And, the carpet in the trunk of my car had aninal hair in a circle like a cat slept in the same spot fot the entire 8 months my car was there. Clearly, my car was parked in the sun with the trunk left open. It should be noted I store the car in a storage or garage so the damage was obtained from how Alex stored my car the 8 months he worked on it. He told me it would be fine.I pointed out the damage and Alex said he would fix the cracked lacquer in my drivers side window. He never did.During this time he fixed my alternator. It started acting up 2 weeks later and started smoking. I called Alex to see what it might be that I can fix. He told me, through his receptionist, the car is old, 1989 Bentley Turbo, and they all smoke and it would eventually go away. My car has never blown out smoke unless something was wrong. A week later my car loss power and stopped.I called Alex and let him know that I was going to tow the car in and made an appointment for the next month.20k and 3 years later I didnt return to British Motors. I found another shop to fix my alternator that no longer smokes.Like all the other reviews that I read I was very pleased with British Motors and Alexs updates on repairs until he made that remark. I dont know much about cars, but I know theyre not supposed to smoke no matter how old they are. That comment made me feel that Alex was tired of working on my car, could no longer figure out the issues that would come up and would no longer ensure no more damage would be caused to my car by his workers that would lower its value.These cars are expensive to repair so I did not take it in for every little knock. I waited until something was really wrong and could be detected by the repair guys.Unfortunately, I had to find someplace else for my car to be serviced by and although I had to pay for it again I got my alternator fixed again and my car runs good.Susan G.

Was used to going to Stewarts get my RR P38 serviced until October 2015 when my neutral safety switch went out causing extreme internal damage to the transmission and I was going to have to wait a couple weeks for an open appointment, so they recommended British Car Services and Im so glad they did! Everyone there is beyond helpful and wonderful at explaining what needs to be done in order to have your luxury car run beautifully. Their whole team works together very well and are extremely knowledgeable and honest. If you have any questions at all about your British vehicle whether theyve serviced it before or not dont be afraid to give them a call!!!! Stewarts was pricier (I felt like their parts were a bit overpriced and they were focused more on how many parts they could put on and charge me for instead of servicing what just needed to be done on the P38) and being a college kid who owns a 17 year old Range Rover, it was amazing to come across the prices and honesty at BCS. As long as I have a British car, its going to British Car Services!

Alex at British Car Service really helped me out when I was in a jam. Couldnt get the car smoged because on of the monitors hadnt cleared. While I was on the phone, he looked up what needed to be done (to other places did that when we were face to face) and walked me through what sort of driving I had to do to get the car (Jag XKR) ready to smog.
