I didnt even have to go inside. Just ordered online, picked up curbside after calling their store to let them know I was there. Easy, took less than 5 minutes. My only gripe is that delivery is so expensive unless you order $50+.

I had a power index with the manager jared. Jared was rude and very disrespectful. Jared does not help black customers.

This is an outstanding neighborhood hardware store. The workers are all friendly and knowledgeable. If they dont know something theyll go find someone who does. Even the young people. I needed some technical advice about a discontinued product and truly had little hope that either of the two young bucks at the counter would have any idea. But, lo and behold! They both knew what I was asking and shared between themselves to come up with the best plan of action. This is also a treasure trove of professional grade, hard-to-find cleaning products. As well as a reliable little stash of TP at the start of the pandemic.

Although, I am only halfway through my project an have more purchases to get. I will not go-back to the Ace Hardware Store (Greenhaven Inc. #04717). I did not feel welcomed! La Von

I had to go look for some sprinkler valve gaskets on my own because the young man behind the counter did not think he should help me. Mind you, he did not have a customer at his cash register nor were any customers waiting in line. I was looking for a few minutes then finally another young man came to assist me. He looked everywhere possible but could not find what I needed. I usually go to Hollywood Hardware. They have terrific customer service.

So my local ACE had been out of stock on a Ben moore paint that I needed. I had called proabably 6 different aces, and none of them had it. I called Greenhaven and spoke to Dan. After explaining to him what I wanted, he said they had it in stock. I was very specific about the paint that I wanted. I gave him the EXACT code on the side of the old can, and ask him 3 times to make sure it was correct one before I drove 30 minutes to get to Green Haven. I show up and I think to myself, no way this dirty dingy hole in the wall ACE that shouldnt even have the name ACE on it, will have the high end Ben moore paint I need. I find Dan, and he shows me the cans he set aside for me. Of course they were not the right ones. I said to him you told me you carry this line of paint I wanted. He gets a sour look on his face and says I never ask him that on the phone. REALLY?? I gave you the exact number and asked you double check 3 times before I drove 30 minutes to get there, and you say that I never asked you over the phone. Dan, you shouldnt mixing paint if you can get that straight . I wouldnt even trust you to flip hamburgers at Mc Donalds. Dan is incompetent, and so are the other young kids that work there that obviously do not care. Worst ACE ever.

Got some flower seeds, never have had bad service there, very helpful crew that has good service with what you want.

Ace hardware is a nice place Ive been to Lowes Ive been to home Depot but Ace hardware came through for me on a barbecue grill in a 1 hour delivery free with the purchase of my Weber quality maybe a pricey a little expensive but the quality is where its at

I had a difficult time getting an employee to leave from behind the counter, to help me locate items. This is not what one would expect from an Ace hardware store. There were about 5 people behind the counter, too. When I did manage to convince someone to assist me, it was after 3 failed attempts on my part to locate the items based on their directions. When they finally helped me to locate the first item on my list, they vanished before I was able to ask for further assistance. I was really surprised, because Ace is known for exceptional customer service, but this location fell far short. Good selection, but I think I will look for another hardware store to recommend to friends and family, based upon my experience.

This is the best place to get nuts, bolts and other fasteners. They always have the bins of all those those hard to find pieces. They have an entire isle of them. Way better then any of the large chains.

I come here a bit. If you need help with a DIY and need some advice come here. They are very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. It also feels good to shop at a place that’s part of the community. The price is a little higher but you get what you pay for and you get a whole lot more here.

One of the worst experience ever. I went ahead yesterday to rent out a professional carpet cleaner from them. The guy who helped me did not give me any accessories or the mandatory instructions card and I had to ask him. They told me there’s a 10$ deposit and I said ok. Next day when we went to return the cleaner, the guy was rude enough and called a perfectly clean machine dirty and refused to give my deposit back and said it’s “our decision”. When I tried to explain that I cleaned it and it’s probably some stands of hair left, those peopleStarted getting mean with their attitude. Forget about the money, at least during this time in the world, be nice to people who come to your store and help you make ends meet and help neighbourhood business. It was cheaper for me to get professional cleaner but we decided to go to the store instead.

I came in this morning looking To make a quick purchase of a bathroom scrubber, I asked the guy quick question he said Im with a customer, came back to me and said whats your question I said its OK I got it. then he had his employee follow me around the store as if I was going to steal. Ive been going there for more than 5 years and this is the 1st time this has happened I dont feel that people should be profiled after they have some sort of disagreement especially with the store manager! Very unprofessional on every level.

Very helpful staff. I came from Home Depot frustrated with their overpriced Air Conditioner filters. They are very helpful and affordable compared to Home Depot.

A great hardware store! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A lot in a small place. We live out of town and have relatives near the store. When Im helping out with their household repair, this is the first place I go.

From the oldsters who know everything to the neighborhood teenagers with enough gumption to actually get a job, look adults in the eye, and answer questions even though the oldsters need to step in once in a while, this is a local treasure and worth shopping at and spending perhaps a bit more treasure than at the big anonmous box down the street store where you end up buying stuff you dont need or doesnt fit because you didnt get the combined wisdom of the 17-yr-old kids uh, I dont know what that is, man, and oldster taking you down to isle 12 to show you exactly what to get and did you consider doing it this way that ends up saving half a damn weekend because you got what you needed in the first place.

A great selection of hardware items nice people and good values make this a perfect place to fulfill all your home or business hardware needs. A good location also and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable to take the confusion out of finding the best tools for your needs. Great quality hardware at reasonable prices will get the job done right the first time and make this place your first and only stop for most all of your hardware needs.

Greenhaven Ace hardware GREENHAVEN is the last hardware store that I know of that has every kind of specialty screws nuts bolts AND VARIOUS OTHER ITEMS THAT YOU WILL NOT FIND IN ANY OTHER HARDWARE STORE. Ive been going there 30+ years.

You will find the little odds and ends that you cant find at the big box stores here. You will also find that the staff here is about as helpful and friendly as what you would find at Home Depot. Hence the 3-star rating.

This neighborhood hardware store will simply provide more attention to your needs than say a larger store. Case in point - I was looking for a 12 gauge Simpson flat strap except bent to a 90 degree L shape. The big box store didnt have it, but Ace had a workshop table with a very large combo vice/anvil in the back where some basic metal-work could be accomplished. I asked the gentleman at the front counter if he would lay over a flat strap to a sharp 90 degree bend in his vice out back, and he said, yes. Ding-ding-ding, mission accomplished! He took a 3 lb. hand sledge and made quick work of the 12 ga. strap. For it not Ace willing to do this work, I wouldnt have been able to finish my small home project. Thank you Ace.

Good service

When my John passed away, i had a bunch of tools that I had no earthly idea what they were. They were specialized ..not the normal hammer or screwdriver. I went there and they helped me identify them all. The regular workers cried when i told them he had passed on, as he was a regular customer. You never know how many lives you touch. These employees really truely cared about us and will always have my business.

Always very helpful and friendly. Good selection of the common items you need for a quick fix around the house. The convenient location for the Pocket and the customer service makes it a no brainer over the warehouse stores.

Green haven Hardware is a very convenient neighborhood Hardware store. I feel they are way more personal than the Big Box store

Its nice to have a hardware store in your neighborhood and one associated with Ace Hardware. The only downfall is the owner who has a bad attitude and is rude. Thats why I rather drive a little farther to Hollywood Hardware or Home Depot.

Update -> subtracting 3 Stars. April 2019.-1 star Rudeness continues. I dont know what is going on with this store, but the new hires do not smile and act as if you have inconvenienced them. They are rude in person and over the phone. It make shopping there an unpleasant experience. -1-1 star The store lacks organisational skills. When orders are received by the store they are supposed to call and tell you. Several times days have passed before someone calls to inform you the order has arrived. Or they never call and you have to inquire.-1 star The store lacks professionalism. My order was supposed to be delivered on the 10th of April but nothing was delivered. I did not even get a call. 5 days passed and I finally decide to call them at 8:23am in the morning. I asked about my order and the man said they received it on the 10th just as scheduled and it is ready to be picked up. I told him it was supposed to be delivered. The guy on the phone from the store rudely said you have to pay for it! Obviously, I would have known that-I placed the order. I told him to check the order and he began mumbling that they would get back to me and he hung up. At 3:01pm I get a hang up call and a second call where he leaves a message that he is not sure where I live and since I did not pick up the phone he could not deliver it today. Interesting. What about calling earlier to schedule a time? Or what about the option I checked when filling out the order that it is okay to leave it by the front door? And yes, there is an address on the order.I wish that was the end of the rude experience, but it continues. I called back under an hour from the time the message was left to schedule a drop off but instead I am told that it was very difficult to get a hold of me... Wow. Really? The person who was gonna drop off the things was gonna do it on his way home. They had over 6 hours to call me back from my initial call in the morning asking about my order. The delivery person left one message and one hang up call right at 3pm when they were leaving expecting me to immediately pick up the phone and be home so he could drop off the order. Who is unreasonable here? This second person thinks I am hard to get a hold of?Originally 4 Stars... I love seeing the regular employees who have worked there for years. They greet you with a smile and are willing to answer your questions. Today, the new employees who worked there did not crack a smile. They lacked customer skills and it made it seem like asking a question was taxing. So minus one star.
