Angela was fantastic, she helped me with all of my issues promptly and professionally, all with a friendly attitude. Definitely a positive ending to a long drive.

I had a great experience at this u-haul, it was my 1st time there. Dave the manager was extremely helpful and very attentive to my reservation. I would definitely recommend this you haul to anybody in the area or out of the area for that matter :)

We got the rental and it went fine, but the customer service was poor. The lady that helped me over the phone had a funky attitude for a customer service person. It isn’t cute or cool to be edgy, brusque, and moody with clientele. I would describe that as unprofessional and immature.

Smooth and quick truck pick up at 6pm after reserving online. I was also offered a cheaper drop off location and appreciated the potential cost savings.

I went to rent a van to drop off a deep freezer to relatives in Stockton, told the person Id be going to Stockton was gone 1.75 hours and they wanted to charge me extra saying Id exceeded their estimate, no yard staff wore masks or gloves, entrance and exit to facility is unsafe by industry standards

I got a mattress bag when I opened it I saw a factory damage. The employee told me that they would not be able to make a refund because the packaging was open. I wonder how I was supposed to find out if everything is okay with this bag?

U HAUL GOT CUTSo hear me out about a phone call I had from this location, Last week I rented a tow dolly from Van Nuys u- haul in city of Van Nuys in Los Angeles. Paid fully for a one way or return to pick up place plus insurance. So I dropped the dolly in the same place I rented from and left a week later I received a phone call from this in Sacramento U-haul station that were is the tow dolly I explained that I dropped it at van nuys station as I rented from and was checked in why. She then told me that no we don’t see it and it will be reported as stolen property that your responsible. Told her that I don’t care what you’re about to do I had insurance so I don’t care about it. But then I start thinking about it that this is how that U-haul as a company is getting bigger and bigger with no competition and reporting for stolen property to claim under insurance. poor customer already has paid the deductible for all this equipment. U-haul is in the business of FROUD INSURANCE. They still have their equipment and making more money on a rental when they claim it under insurance. BTW the lady on the phone had a Terrible customers service training and very rude attitude. I think U- haul just find her in Strip club and Hired her as an employee with no training how to talk to customers or maybe they did trained her to talk to care stormer in that way and report for stolen property for the Purpose of fraud insurance.

Had a reservation to fill, was contacted by this location Over the phone to be told they did not have any trucks available for a 1way round trip but a truck was available for a local contract at high rates. Then when I spoke about this being unreasonable, I was answered with a frustrating tone sayin I can cancel your reservation if you want. I answered by saying yet again this doesn’t seem reasonable and my reservation isn’t for a local move. The lady responded by hanging up on me? Could have easily just apologized for the inconvenience? Nope I get hung up on!

Came to refill propane tank. Waited 15 min inside to get help. Was told to wait outside. Waiting over 30 min. Still havent recieved any help. I left . Was not help. Poor customer service.

Propane pricing scamThe only reason I brought my tanks to this U-Haul location to get filed is the discounted price of $2.49 per gallon. I just had to say its alternative fuel for a propane-powered vehicleI can have someone come to me and fill my tanks for $3.50 per gallon. Why would anyone bring their tanks to this location to be filled for $3.61 per gallon? When the average price for propane in CA is only $3.24 per gallon.This guy Ernie gives me trouble every time he fills my tanks. My tanks are only 3 years old and look new. Ernie always says my tanks are out of date and he will not give the price discount his manager told me about.The manager of this location Melissa Easley is the one that told me because my tanks are over 5 gallons and are used for a RV aka propane-powered vehicle I get a discount. Now for some reason this location and manager can pick and choose who is eligible for a discount. I should not have to start providing documentation on what Im using the propane in.With all the different replies U-Haul Customer Service has sent me I expect higher standards in training and with more consistent pricing throughout Locations, Managers and Employees.I am very disappointed in the changes this location has made. After 2 1 /2 years of being a repeat U-Haul customer Im going to look for a more reputable company to start doing business with. Somewhere that wants to keep me coming back year after year and wont treat me like Im lying about the use of my propane.

This U-haul facility is top notch, they are constantly busy but are always around to answer questions and assist as needed. I had a Ubox stored here and every time I needed access they were very quick! Typically they need 24 hr notice but I was able to text a number to confirm access and they always responded NO PROBLEM! great experience I wish every portion of moving was taken with such care and flexibility as U haul El Camino has made it!

I had a rusted trailer hitch lock and needed it replaced. The owner got up from lunch and worked on it for 30+ minutes. He fixed it and sold me a new one. Didnt charge for service either! Great spirit and very friendly team. Thank you!

It says on their website open till 7:00pm. I was here at 6:48pm and they were closed. Better to update your business hours on your website then.

This place has a lot of trucks, but theyre not very organized and seem understaffed. There were only two people at the counter and both were dealing with customers for about 10 minutes before we were helped. By that time, a huge line had formed. When we got our truck, the check engine light was in so we had to wait while they switched it out and then we had to wait again because they forgot to get the correct paperwork for the new truck. Everyone was friendly but they could really use some efficiency training and additional staff.

This UHAUL had the best customer service representatives! They were friendly yet efficient, thorough and I was able to finalize my rental with the fellow outside who did my return inspection! It was so easy, I would rent from them even if it meant driving an hour to get to them. I am a loyal customer for life!

Absolutely disgusting customer service, they literally yell at customers. they steal your money in front of your eyes and come up with a stupid rules that you cant say anything. They ask me for proof of picture that the car was not dirty witch I cleaned it with my own hands. DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE that it was dirty??? After Budget called telling me the truck I reserved for tomorrow morning was not going to be available I started checking into other options. Id made several frustrating calls, until I reached U-Haul at El Camino. The lady I spoke to took the time to check several other locations, and found a truck available at a time and place that worked for me.She could have just said, sorry, we dont have what youre looking for. But instead took the time to take care of me and changed a very stressful situation into quite a positive experience. She turned my whole day around, and I am very grateful!!

Same complaint as the rest. lousy customer service. threatened to ‘recover’ the 26’ van I’d rented mid move. Rep that called refused to give her name. Called U-haul corporate and they sorted it all out. Avoid this franchise if you can. Plenty of other locations around town.

Expect to be here so long you grow old & die. I had an appointment at 12:30 to install a tow-hitch. That takes 3 hours. You have to wait in line inside & sign paperwork before they will touch your vehicle. The line to sign paperwork is another 3 hours of your life. By the time we got to the register to sign paperwork, we were told they dont have the parts anymore! Dont come here! EVER!!!!!!!

In order to fill up your propane tank it has to be fairly new, that’s new for me

Been coming hear for about 14 years! I dont call and compare prices. I just come to this store and every time I get the same experience.This last time I checked out things online. I called and they answered on the 3rd ring. They lady and I talked about the prices, took my credit card number, and gave me a reservation. I called letting them know I was going to be 30 minutes late to pick it up. No problem. They rescheduled my pick up. Arrived only to realize I selected a truck way to big - 26 feet. Within 10 minutes had me in another more suitable truck - 17 feet. Again, no problem. The truck was clean and ran well. I brought it back and the guy took my word for how much gas was in the tank when I left. Quick and easy turn in with no waiting in line. He dialed in my info on some iPhone thing, added the mileage, and checked me out. I was on my way.Will be coming back here for my next rental, again.

Had to wait for an associate when I arrived but very quick processes. Explained everything was able to leave my car for a couple of hours while I rented truck.

I dropped off two uhaul vehicles and both times they were fast and got me out quick. Great customer service. Well rent from them in the future.

Small parking lot (had to park across the street and have husband wait with it because there was nowhere to park w/o fear of tow) and long lines but the staff seemed proficient. Even with the crowd, we got in and out pretty fast.

It takes over 30 minutes to be seen to pick up a truck. Every time I come here they are understaffed for the amount of morning customers and the employees are incredibly slow.

Poor customer service. I rented a 17 truck with the $0.89c per mile included on $ 57.9. When I returned the truck, she wanted $118. Then she said that I have charged you for 2 days and my co-worker will fix this. Her co-worker also charged me over $30 for furniture pads which I havent rented. I asked her to refix the price, but she only gave me $10 and charged me $20 for the furniture pads. Instead of $57.9, they charged me $72.55.

Getting the truck and the actual truck were fine, but the check in at the end of the rental was not positive. The woman at check in was very unprofessional, barking orders at me to help her check the light bulbs on the truck before she would finish the check in. The light bulbs on the truck are in no way anything that a person renting a vehicle would be responsible for, much less being held hostage and forced to help check them. By the time it was all said and done, I was expecting her to demand I change the oil on the truck.

This place is a joke!! Absolutely rediculous wait time!! Only one employee working inside with 30!! People in line. And there is 4 employees outside standing there doing nothing. Emplyee working does not deserve this. You need to have more staff working please.

Reserved a truck and got a confirmation. The day of pick up they sent an email approx 2.5 hours before we were supposed to arrive that our time and reservation location had changed to something that would not work. Did not learn of the change until we arrived because I did not see the email until after. We were told that they had other trucks available but that would be an upcharge or get one without a ramp, which we needed as we were moving a piano. This was a problem with U-Haul as a company.The location is not all that great or organized either. We had to wait in line for 45 minutes as they only had one person working the counter on a Saturday morning, which one would think would be a busy day for people moving.

I had the great experience of having the Manger helping me with getting my UHAUL and he was such a polite young man he answered all my questions and make sure that all my needs were met I would definitely recommend anybody to use that U-Haul

I have previously reserved tow dolly . When it came, they told me that you came late and we gave it to others. I explained that no one had warned me that time is limited and I need to drive a car 200 miles away.Do something please. To which I was told that they can not help. And I had to pay an extra $ 150 for a night in the hotel and pick up tow dolly on the next morning.

Slow service, and also somewhat annoyed with the knowledge of the workers here. I was told to put on my parking break while I towed my car (I pulled it behind the U-Haul truck we rented from Sacramento to Los Angeles... guess who doesnt have a parking break anymore)

Very friendly and patient employees! I walked in 15 until closing and their was a line, but never did I or anyone else feel rushed. It was relaxing and customer service oriented.Earlier in the day, I had walked out of the Rancho Uhaul because they had 3 employees walking around not busy and none acknowledged me! I was stressed enough, I didnt need to deal with them, so Im glad I rescheduled with El Camino!Thank you!

Made a reservation for a car trailer. Showed up and they tell me they cant give me the one they have even though they took my card info and everything because it was stolen. The lady did mothing to help out even tho I told her I was on a time restriction because it was my lunch break and suggested that i just drive around to find another one wish i could give no stars. We have been waiting almost an hour to return a truck and get our money. A staff member came in and helped one lady who cut the line while there were four people ahead of her. After she was done he left and went back outside even though the staff member said he needed to stay to help him. The lie is almost out the door and only one person here. That is unacceptable and it need to change. NOW and there is mold on the water fountain. This is absolutely atrocious customer service.

Ive had four hitches installed here, never had a problem with them! Most installs were with in 1.5 hours

Im not a big fan of uhaul! Their trucks have a tendency to break down! As a mover that is frustrating! Then when you book a 🚚 even weeks in advance your reservation still isnt upheld! They act like that 50$ credit is supposed to do something when i have to give a client a discount becuase i dont have the right size truck for their move! We depend on data and the logistics of these companies to make our nob easy and your experience a good one but it is hard when you have companies that seem to care more about the money instead of their clients!

Watch out for Monica - that worthless wannabe manager will try to charge you $300 for a cleaning fee if the tires are dusty. She ruins this place

I rented truck from them, drove 15-20 miles, just before taking the truck back stopped by and got fuel just shy of 4 gallons there was more gas than when I got because I took picture of the gauge. At end they still charge me extra money for gas that was never there to begin with.CHECK how much FUEL in a TRUCK, because THEYRE DISHONEST about it...

My daughter was charged more than double milage for a truck rental from this store. She did not check the original milage written on her receipt. They kept her deposit and wanted more money. She has been charged an additional late fee. There is no reasoning with these people. They also tried to say she returned it to a different U Haul location to get additional money from her but have since dropped that claim. She has calculated her exact milage via google showing the routes she took. It is way too aggravating to deal with this sort of thing but some things are just not right. She will file with the BBB but this is unlikely to change anything. If you use this store make sure you check everything, especially what is written on the receipt. Dont trust that they will get it right.

Fast service, rented a good 10ft truck to pick up a pallet of product I purchased, and returned right after. Make sure to fill up before returning, major gas fees!

I requested to install hitch on my new Honda CRV. i was disappointed the way they did it. i took it back spoke to Rhonda, she immeditely made me an appintment to see Bret Johnson, who istalled it. Meeting with Bret was great, very cool and helpful. He made me so comfortable and explained me how he can fix it and why he installed the way it is now. He took care of it in 1hr, very please with the service. Both Rhonda and Bret are great.Suggestion: they do a good job but be clear in advance what are you expecting, it will eliminate extra trips.
