Met Tom at hardware store in town and described my issue he said come by the shop we will find you a solution. Tom was dedicated to finding me a Safeway to solve my connection issue. Too a little bit of searching but he found everything we needed to get the project complete. Such a huge help! Very friendly service and honest pricing. If you have any propane issue I would suggest checking with this team! They have a wealth of knowledge and inventory on hand. Thanks Tom!

Great Service, great prices, love double punch days, but I come here a lot and they are very rarely outside the office. I wait on average 7/8 minutes before someone is out to help and can tell they are not busy most the time.Also, last summer, I was first here, 15-20 minutes before they opened. Due to school buses needing gas, the attendant said I had to wait for the school bus first, for the kids. While I have 4 children and understand, I am sure they operate additional hours for a big business like the school. Just not the service I expected.

Ive been using Blue Star for several years and have always received prompt, very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous service. I also appreciate the punch cards for filling my tanks. The price is competitive and then one is rewarded for their loyalty with the punch cards. They take time to visit and ask about things youve discussed with them previously. I plan on continuing to take my business to the folks at Blue Star

If You ever need a gas company I recommend Blue Star Gas of Salem. They always on time when you need them the service is beyond reproach. I moved to Blue Star because they care for their customers. They are very friendly and very dependable. So if you need gas and are looking for a great business look no further Blue Star wins hands down and all thumbs are straight up.

Really friendly staff and great customer service. Their prices are the lowest in town. They also have a rewards system, every five to seven gallon tank you fill you get one punch on your card; every Thursday its a double punch. Once you have received five punches on your card, your next fill, you get one either five or seven gallon tank free. That usually saves me anywhere from $15-18; if your next fill is only one tank, then yes, its still free.

Blue Star Gas Co. in Salem Oregon deserves a 5 star rating from me. I went to them with most likely a small problem for them, but a huge problem for me. All the employees treated me with respect and helped me solve the problem. Tom spent a lot of time with me in two different consultations and did everything he could to help me out - I was impressed that even a small customer like me merited such effort. I will be going back and recommending this company to my friends for similar needs.

Not to mention the best place in the Salem area and beyond for your propane needs. They even have a punch card program thats saved me alot, winter spring summer and fall. There are many places to get your propane in this area but none will treat you as right as Blue Star on Portland road. Not to mention historically the best prices too. Frist time vist, was very impressed with the help I got looking for a RV gas hook up. The nice young Man by the name Joel S. helped me right away and found what I needed. thank you Joel for getting me what I needed and in a time for my trip.

Had a natural gas line run to my kitchen and was very happy with the services provided by Doug (sales) and tech, Joel. Joel had a great attitude, was very nice and very thorough. I felt like he went extra mile in courtesy and explaining a couple of final items on connecting to the my new stove. I would definitely recommend them for services re appliances (eg tankless water heaters, etc.) Or gas/propane.

Not a recommended business. My first visit was into the store where I was told I would need to talk with Doug Grout. I left him a couple of messages over the course of about 10 days. Finally, when we did talk he said he had been on vacation and he would do a site visit on Tuesday. Today is Friday and no call and no site visit. I just called him and he told me he was in route. However, I told him to forget it now.If this is the level of service you receive as a potential new customer, imagine what it is like once they got you under a contract. No Thank You!I have called another supplier, they were happy I called and will be out this afternoon!

This is a family owned business. They are very good at converting gas appliances, cars and an entire house to propane. They are soon to open service in the Tillamook and Manzanita area at the coast. We will be working with Doug when we are ready to build

A very friendly staff. When I travel the I 5 corridor, I make it a point to fill my RV there with propane. Fortunately, my RV is small enough to maneuver in their lot.

Customer service isnt their forte. Always hit or miss whether or not you can find anyone to help you with parts or service. When I first shopped there a year and a half ago, service was good. Not any more. Ive quit giving them my business.

I just started a food cart and they have helped get me to where I need to been. Staff is awesome, highly recommend!
