Super knowledgeable, speedy, and great service!I originally had an appointment for the 4th of August, but they called me on the 22nd of July because they had a free time slot. I just needed some cable run through the doors, so it wasnt a big job. That said it only took them about half an hour to call me that my car was ready for pickup. The work was clean and tidy, couldnt have asked for better. And they didnt even charge me! They said it only took the tech 15 minutes so it was on them. I would definitely go back for any kind of car audio work!

Drove 38 miles for new stereo. Dispute over the price but Andrew and the staff made it right.Complete professionals with a comfortable setting and place to sit while youre waiting.They had to make alterations for the install but they asked me prior to doing it, totally cool.Getting more work done to Lily the Lincoln and they are the only ones that will be doing the work. These Folks are the greatest, My 2003 BMW Convertibles Harmon Karden system was toast. I went to three other shops two said they wont even work on M3 Convertibles the last left me thinking I wont let them touch my car. Damon at Hear No Evil set me up Wireless Touch screen, Amps and Subwofer with a custom encloser in the trunk it sounds so great I hear things in the music I never thought were there. the enclosure saved all my usable trunk space and looks better than factory. I have a classic Toyota 4runner and about 2 years ago my after-market stereo began to eat CDs and then puked out my antenna. I procrastinated....until my good friend recommended Hear No Evil recently, and I called them up. Soon after, following basic no-pressure equipment conversations, I got a Kenwood Appleplay installed, and a new telescoping antenna. I hung out in their comfy waiting/showroom and now have a killer phone-driven stereo system that I love. The installation was seamless, and getting used to the appleplay-isms has only taken a moment. Came to shop looking to upgrade my wifes jeep. Got a quote that was better than anywhere around town the builder was confident in making it happen when everyone else wasnt so sure. He was able to build and design the box exactly how I wanted it while giving the sub the req air space and still keep the factory look. I got a new stero put in a couple months ago before a long spring break roadtrip. I got in super quick and they gave me the best price and value in town. I shopped around and everyone else was trying to sell me on this apple stereo system with all the bells and whistles and I absolutely didnt need or want that. I told these guys my budget and they gave me a great setup in my price range and didnt try to oversell. As a single woman going in I also didnt feel creeped out by all the worker dudes. The sales people tested everything out with me to make sure it was legit and after a few months I am sooo impressed with the sound quality for such an affordable unit and I love have bluetooth capabilities for safety and work. Had these guys add aftermarket blue tooth to my car. They are the only place my dad has used for years for his in home entertainment. So they were highly recommended. Damon was very helpful and friendly. After the install it was only halfway working and it was the end of the day. So I was able to bring it back and they got it all smoothed out and it has been over a month with zero problems. Great customer service.

Called for info to replace the stock stereo deck only in our 2006 Mustang GT.  Wanted an upgrade to BT with Android/Apple, touchscreen & backup camera.  Spoke to Damon Jennings, he worked up a quote & contacted us promptly.  Scheduled our appt for the following weekend, but when an install appt opened up same day, we took it & he & his install crew made it all happen asap! They even saved us $40ish in parts since some originally quoted were not needed at install...score for us!  Damon stayed past 5p when we hit traffic so we could pick up our car, gave us a personal demo tutorial (masks on 😷) & made some awesome adjustments to the sound...sounds GREAT & just what we needed!  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 🤩

Exceptional experience! Damon was my salesman and Chris was the builder/ installer. Last year I wanted to have an alarm and auto start installed in my 2019 dodge ram work van. I stopped at a couple stereo shops in Salem, and they seemed unsure about installing it. So I called hear no evil, and Andrew gave me confirmation that it could be done, and that they could do it. Back in November 2019, I called ahead to schedule the install for mid December.I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon complete. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Im a bit of a sound nerd as well as a musician and I can confirm that these guys know what theyre talking about. The building itself is neatly arranged and they gave me plenty of time to test out headphones without the constant you still doing alright over here? that you might receive from salespeople at other places. Of course you should talk to the employees anyway because theyre all nice as well as knowledgeable.

Called them over the phone asking if they could fix one of my surround sound system speakers they said drop by and they can see what they can do for me.I went down there and explained what was going on and how it was something super simple so I was hoping they could help out, so Damon who was extremely respectful towards me and said he would take it to the back and get it fixed up for me he came back about 5 minutes later and told me he had fixed and showed me what he had done.I asked him how much it would cost and he said no need but if I need help with anything audio related to come see them and I absolutely will they are really respectful and know what they are doing.I cant thank Damon enough since he fixed my problem that was really annoying me and got my surround sound system back to how it should be.

Went here to get a new system in my 19 Tacoma and let me say... I am blown away with how it turned out. Fair warning they predominantly sell upper-mid to high end electronics so expect to make an investment in your car if you want to work with them, but with that being said, everything they put in my truck I price matched to all other major retailers and they either were the same or beat those prices. You truly do just have to pay for quality..! Big thanks to Dan and Damon for helping me put together my build, and Chris for doing a killer install/tune. I highly recommend them to any and all that are serious about car audio!!

Had a back up camera and speakers installed. The staff was friendly worked at a great place and while we waited my friend and I were treated with their amazing home theatre. In comparison to car toys or the other lousy store that installs said items this is the one for you. Their quote was nearly spot on actually turned out to be cheaper and it was almost 100$ lower than both competitors in Salem

Went there because my friend wanted to show off his new subs and Damon showed off the speaker room and taught me so much in 10-15 minutes. Once I get rid of my rust bucket I’m coming here to get my set up.

I had Hear No Evil install a Viper alarm system on my new Tundra and they did a great job. A problem developed with a module that is part of the alarm system and they were quick to diagnose the issue and resolve it. They are a little more pricey than some of their competitors but like others told me, they are the gold standard and you get what you pay for. I will definitely go to them when I need an alarm for my next truck.

Stopped by on a whim looking for some reference headphones for mixing. I had a pair in mind I wanted to try and though they didnt have them, they looked for the product nearby for me and also showed me something they had in stock that ended up fitting the bill. Damon set me up in a listening room and let me A/B a selection of headphones. They also let me listen to my own music on them and even let me bring in my MPC Live so I could hear them with some tracks I had been working on.Damon and Andrew were super cool and willing to shoot the breeze with me about music and music production, gear, and even song recommendations. They sent me out with a pair of Grado SR60e headphones that will be perfect for my needs and a sweet logod Hear No Evil hat that Im excited to rock at my next gig on Friday!Overall, I had a really great experience and it had that no-pressure, family business feel. Hear No Evil did an amazing job with my theater room. I wanted to avoid what the previous owners of my house did...long story short, it was a mess when they installed their media room. Holes in the wall not covered correctly, speaker wire behind the baseboard just thrown in there, wires showing, the list goes on and on, it was a huge mess I had to repair!!After my media room remodeling, Hear No Evil came in and did everything right! Installed a 7.1 surround system, with in wall speakers and it was absolutely clean and professional looking. The wiring from the media receiver to my Sony projector is flawless, nothing is showing! I cant stress enough how happy I am to have the theater room Ive always wanted, thanks to the great work by Hear No Evil.If youre looking to get a media/theater room done right Hear No Evil is the place to go. Their staff is great, they will listen to you and work with you on what works best for you.

I ran into a problem when trying to install my own stereo system, so I took it to Hear No Evil. Chris obviously knew what he was doing, and everything looks and works great. I give them five stars because I also asked them to install a power antenna. Chris was sharp enough to catch that there was a flaw in the antenna that caused reception to cut out. He thought it was the cable, so he replaced it, but the problem persisted. Rather than sending me home with a bad antenna and hoping I wouldnt notice, they were up front about it and ordered a new antenna, and will install it when it arrives.The price was a bit high, but it was obvious that my stereo and speakers and antenna were being installed by someone who knew exactly what he was doing. I wont notice the dollars I spend a year from now, but I will notice the great stereo system I have thanks to their great installation!

If you want to over pay and get the worst customer service possible then this is the place for you. Wish I could could give them negative stars.

They removed a Sirius audio system from a vehicle I was trading in for a new Toyota Prius, and they reinstalled the device in the new Prius today. I talked on the phone to Edward and described in detail the problem I was having with my stereo receiver. I asked if they could service it. He asked when and I said today. After a few minutes he talked to someone else and said bring it in. I said Id be there in a half hour. He said they could work on it right away.So I drove to the store. When I got there I was told that Edward had to go on a call. Then Scott said that they do not repair stuff. He tried to switch me to something else. A true bait and switch. I would never do business with this outfit.

They put in a new Kenwood sterio in my truck but didnt connect it right and caused a lot of problems to my electrical system that I had to pay for!The Kenwood Stereo was purchased under my husbands name Dawayne Northern who is no longer here. It was installed in his 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD CrewcabWhen he installed the Kenwood he crossed some wires, I can make an appointment and bring the truck over and the paperwork. I will call soon.
