Mike is fantastic, professional and an obvious expert in his trade. My car looks better than when I bought it brand new a few years ago. After my accident Mike and his friendly staff handled everything from arranging for a tow truck to tow my car to his shop, he had a rental car waiting for me when I arrived to authorize repairs and he even delt with the insurance company for me. So glad I went here, they did everything and all I had to do was pick up the phone and give them my claim number and they handled the rest! Stress free process! Had the best experience at an auto body shop today, the guys here at Salem Auto Body and Paintworks took really good care of me and did an amazing job fixing the headlight bracket on my car. My daughter was in a low speed bumper to bumper collision. She was pulling out of the school parking lot after volleyball practice and hit a friend who was doing the same. After all was said and done, my daughters trunk wouldnt stay closed. I tried fixing it myself, but couldnt get it to work.My wife looked around for a shop when I was at work - she said that she called Salem Auto Body & Paintworks. They were open on Saturdays in the morning. So, on Saturday, I got up a little early and went down.He looked at the trunk and fixed it - for free! He was also able to pop much of the bumper back into place.He was very helpful and didnt see the need to charge for something so simple and quick. I will definitely be taking my future business to his shop. I dont suspect it will take too long to get him some business - I have three teenagers who are all driving.

I came in and got help on a minimum need that everyone else turn me away for!!!So when Lowes crashed my car..🤷‍♀️😳🙈 I had to bring my business this way.🙌 David H. Jimmy B. Anyone else involved with their effort went above and beyond. They took it upon themselves to do the communicating with Enterprise rental, they took it upon themselves to do the communicating with the third-party estimators who were sent out to me and they took it upon themselves to do all the communicating calling and emailing with the insurance company which was a wreck and prioritize me not at all, Salem auto body and paint Works prioritized me! They were working on my behalf while I was still asleep. I am so grateful because of Salem auto body and paint works ..David and Jimmy...allowed me to continue to work my job🙌. It was definitely a lot of work, to get not such a big job done. They restored sanity into the situation. Not a lot of places out there who still practice under true customer service. They were quick, efficient and caring. Kind of makes you wish you got more damage to your vehicle to do more business with such great people.. ( just kidding nobody ever wishes that😂😫) I absolutely love this business!

My wifes car got dinged while it was parked at work. The lady owned up to it and I began getting estimates. My last trip was to Salem Auto Body & Paintworks. The other three shops took pictures and wrote up estimates as quickly as they could and were really nice people. They did their jobs. At SABP, I chatted with Jimmy and David. I was there about a half and hour and David explained absolutely every aspect of the job to me. He explained in detail what would be done and provided me with alternative ideas to accomplish what I wanted done. In other words, he went over and beyond what he needed to do for me. Having body work done is a real pain, especially when insurance is involved. My time at Salem Auto Body & Paintworks was actually enjoyable. Its a great shop a with really knowledgable staff who just so happen to be great people who are easy to work with. I just found my new bodyshop!

Im very happy I went to Salem Auto Body & Paint Works. My car looks great, they really did an excellent job. I appreciated the communication from Jimmy, hes so good at what he does and makes you feel like they truly care. To top it off, they gave me a car to drive while mine was being repaired and I was able to return the rental I was paying for. Great people and great work!

They repaired bumper which was damaged badly from a run in. They also needed to put in radiator and condenser. It looks and runs just great! I had them to do work for me several years ago when someone ran into the side of my truck while it was parked, they did a super job then also.

Resourceful, thorough, reliable, and efficient! I could not ask for more!I came into Salem Auto Body with a custom installed sunroof hole--the glass had broken and shattered all over the road. I spent at least 9 months trying to get someone to help me with this problem. I must have asked just about every auto body shop or glass place in the Salem area to help me with this predicament, but to no avail. Seriously!Meanwhile, I was driving around Oregon with no sunroof in my car--enjoying free rain showers most of the year and hot, direct sun on my face this summer.When I came to Salem Auto Body, not only were they friendly and willing to help, but they fixed the hole in the roof of my car in ONE week! Glass and all! It is a perfect fit and was VERY appropriately priced. I truly cannot thank the employees at Salem Auto Body enough for their fine work, innovative solution to my problem, and quick, efficient job.I do not recommend people or places very often, but i would DEFINITELY recommend Salem Auto Body to anyone looking for a job well done. Mike was really great! when I couldnt come to him he came to me and looked over my van that was damaged underneath. He told me that he would need to get to the shop to take a closer look and even offered towing service to help me out customer service at its best!They did a great job! and didnt charge me an arm and a leg as other shops wanted to. what I got was an honest deal and a job well done. I love to build different and one of a kind projects.Ive made custom fire trycicle that they painted yellow.Man bench seat that they painted black.Custom built mini horse trailer for my son to pull behind his trike they painted it white.Antique cooler was painted the original color of pepsi.I made a bed racer out of a twin bed and they matched the color of my company colors on my tow trucks it looks awesome.They painted up an old fridge I had with a flame paint job it was fantastic.My son made a custom winch bumper for his ranger truck and when they were done painting it black we did not believe it was his. It look so nice.So I would have to say that know matter what your project is they will do a great job of painting it.

Great place! Other places quoted me too high just to repair a dent on my car. This shop quoted me the lowest and they did an awesome job.

Lied repeatedly about work, being done that wasnt. Seriously damaged my vehicle, multiple times. Blamed the parts supplier, everyone handy, including the customer. Had to go back four times, took two months. They introduced an electrical short in the car and refused to take responsibility for it. I had to personally find it and fix it, could have been thousands and yes they caused it. Lies, lies and more lies with a lie cherry topping sundae. DO NOT GO THERE.

I got a scratch on my car and they got it out in less than 10 minutes and then didnt even charge me for the repair. Definitely recommend this shop for your paint and scratch needs!

Mike, the lead, ordered the wrong parts TWICE. Messed up the paint and had to redo it. Took a week to “match the color”. (BS!). Completely rude like I was inconveniencing HIM to do the work. Project was supposed to take a week. Took 3 weeks. Shop is a total joke and so is their work and management.

Kind and courteous service friendly staff helpful informed The Experience altogether was quite delightful refreshing not what you expect from your usual Greasemonkey type environment all together the experience was excellent

Horrible! Called to get a rough estimate quote, guy said only way is if I bring it in. I’ve spoke to 3 different shops so far who gave me a quote over the phone with no problem.

I worked with Matt to have new emblems put on my car. They did a great job at a great price. I will defiantly come back.

I was rear ended. The auto body left a dime size ding in a somewhat hidden spot on my vehicle. They did not tell me about it and when I detailed it today I noticed I have a rust spot on a brand new car. It would not have been a big deal if I was notified when I got the car back. Also, the shop sent me an extra bill weeks after I paid what was asked of me and the claim was settled.

I completely agree with the other negative reviews. The worst customer service I have ever received; no personal responsibility taken for any of the incompetence; Mike VanDrimmelen flat out lied to me twice that my vehicle would be ready. They said the repairs would take less than a week; this is week 5 and only halfway done. I am going elsewhere for the rest of the work.

Got rear ended in my classic Chevy Caprice. Took 2 months to finally get it back with a crappy orange peel paint job. They let it sit outside on the street and the battery ran down. Just shined us on for 2 months. I would Never go back there.
