I was recently involved in a car accident and unfortunately my car was totaled. Between the stress of the accident, dealing with the insurance companies, and literally looking at nearly 1,000 new vehicles during a time when car dealerships are experiencing record low inventories, we were so grateful to find Power Mazda in Salem, OR. We had found a car that they just had taken in on trade. They held it for us. And rather than having to drive from the coast where we live, we were able to take care of everything from the pre-approval to the financing all online and over the phone from the comfort of our own home. Madeline was our wonderful salesperson. She was honest, very helpful, and extremely courteous throughout the entire transaction. She even went above and beyond and delivered the car to us personally the day after the purchase. Mike handled the financial end. He walked me through all the numbers which included an extended warranty and gap insurance. Best of all, they listened to what we were able to offer and what we were looking for in terms of down payment and monthly payments and were able to completely honor that without any haggling whatsoever. It was by far the smoothest, the easiest, and most stress-free car buying process I’ve experienced in my life. Because of the outstanding customer service we received, we will take our new car to Power Mazda for servicing and will definitely return to that dealership for future auto purchases. My warranty is about up and needed to check some issues and get an oil change etc. They let me know ahead of time what I needed to know and were quick And efficient. The service department did what they said they would do for our 60,000 mile service. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Our car was in overnight, so we were given a loaner car that was nearly brand new. We were kept informed along the way and given the opportunity to opt in or out for other potential issues. I can’t say if this was the most economical route, but they do treat customers right!

I went to other dealers many times before this one and it wasnt solved after I told them to check.It was surprisingly solved after the first time I went to Power Mazda Salem and they also even more surprisingly changed a part for my car from a recall.I like this dealer so much.

I just went here and a salesman came out after I had looked at all of the cars and asked if he could help me. I told him no and he asked why I was looking in all of the cars. We went there a couple weeks back. Gabe was very very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive to our budget and desires in a vehicle. Power Mazda made my first time purchasing a vehicle at a dealership generally pleasant.

Called a total of 5 times, was transferred to the wrong department 3 times and was hung up on when finally reaching the parts department. The fifth call I was able to reach the department and was reluctantly helped and was not called back until and hour later.

I went in with a recall on my 04 Mazda air bags. Was serviced immediately. Waiting area clean and plesant. Polite staff.

Drove from the coast to do some scheduled maintenance, noticed something funny with the way my car was driving. Steve moved the scheduled service off since I could only afford 1 repair this month, and started the more pressing repair right away! Amazing service department, and Steve was a pleasure to work with. I will be back next month to do the repair I had originally came for!

It can be a little hard to reach someone at times through the service line. That being said, once I got connected with someone, the staff were friendly, they were able to make an appointment really quickly and were flexible with my schedule/availability. If I didn’t have a ride back to work/home after dropping off my car, they offer a ride which is a nice service during non covid times. The price seems relatively fair for everything they did for my appointment: oil change, diagnosed why my check engine light was on (and fixed the issue under warranty), rotated tires, replaced all windshield wipers and filters in the car. I wasn’t told about what sanitizing was done inside my car after getting it back after the service to minimize risk of covid virus transmission. They did wash the outside of my car which was wonderful - a bonus would be if the inside could be cleaned too. All in all, I’m happy with the quality of the service I received and I’ll keep going back in the future.

Power Mazdas Service Department is the best! Every service Ive had since purchasing my 2019 Mazda (including Mazda recalls) has been professional, prompt and friendly. The service advisors are responsive and thorough.

Despite one of the worst winter storms to hit Salem, no WI-FI, no phones, and during a pandemic, the service department welcomed us. Its not our first time servicing our vehicle here but the service needed to be noted because of the genuine customer care!The man working the counter deserves so much praise! I wouldnt be giving this detailed account if it was not for his subtle gesture.Angel a salesman (who did not make a sale) went above and beyond with his his customer service also. With me trying to making an appointment online it alerted him, he called me, then got ahold of the service department by foot (he was at the GM lot across the street). He later found my fiance and I outside perusing vehicles and happily got us info on some extras for our current vehicle. None of the you know the 2021 model etc.Lastly, the mechanics, who were supposed to be going to lunch but stayed to start and finish our car, thank you!This was Monday the 15th of February and I appreciate each of you that helped my family vehicle continue to be reliable for the future.

I had a not so good issue with Service last week, I got in touch with the Service Manager today and he apologized and actually made it sound like I was important which is all I really wanted. Initially they accepted my offer over the phone and after I got to the dealer and agreed to buy the car; They told me your offer is very low. How do you plan to negotiate the rest? And I said you accepted my offer and I dont want to negotiate anything so I dont want to waste my time. then came David; He is a disrespectful and arrogant person who tried to force me to buy the car under his terms. I left. it was a horrible and humiliating experience.

Last year, my ex decided he wanted us to have a brand new car so that we could get rid of my 99 Corolla. So we went to Power Mazda and he picked out the newest, most expensive and luxurious car he could find: $28,000 worth. Eventually, down the road, he decided to leave me with this car that I never really wanted and car payments of $460 a month and insurance payment of $220 a month to pay for by myself. Almost another year went by and I felt like I was physically drowning. I could barely afford a meal, but thank goodness I had leather seats and a Heads Up display. I called Power Mazda, having a meltdown because all I wanted was to just get rid of this car. They connected me to an associate named Angel. He wanted to meet with me right away. He wholeheartedly listened to my situation and instead of trying to rip me off again with another expensive car, he fully understood why I was so upset and just wanted to help me. Angel was able to find me a simple older model of what I had. I now am able to have more that $7 in my savings account, I dont have to worry about either paying for shampoo and food or having to pay my car payment. Angel Munoz made that possible. It just shows there are still some good people in this world, and the wonderful things that can come from bending over backwards for a stranger, he is truly an Angel.

I went on lot today randomly with no intent to buy. When we got there we declined assistance from a nice gentleman, Angel. We feel everyone at Power Mazda cared about us and our experience. They went out of their way and wowed my husband and I. We highly recommend!

Took my car in for an oil change, I have an ignition interlock on my vehicle which they were aware of. Ive had 2 oil changes no problem. Well this time they left my vehicle running for an extended amount of time which resulted in me having a violation and now Im locked out of my vehicle.. I made it clear the vehicle cant be left running without me there. This is the first time theyve caused a violation but Im not happy since this is an expensive mistake.

My wife’s car has had a recall for a headlight assembly for a while. She scheduled to take it in for the recall as well as an oil change. They made it sound like it was all going to be taken care of that day. They didn’t tell her the parts were on back order until she arrived for her appointment. So they told her they would call and reschedule her when the parts came in. It’s has been MONTHS!We keep calling to check in on the status and they keep saying “we are waiting on parts “. I understand with Corona virus things are slow. But for months my wife has had to drive with one headlight, with my child and they have done absolutely NOTHING to help us out.I’m extremely disappointed with their service and our experience with our 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring.This isn’t the first issue with their service department.

Ive had good experiences with Power Mazdas service department lately. They were generous and forthright when working with a hard-to-diagnose problem. When the first fix proved to be temporary, they took it back, found another issue, and fixed it without charge--and provided a courtesy car while they had it. Based off my experiences over the last few years, Id definitely recommend them.
