Check engine light and a stall at a red light had me tense and anxious, they happily read the code and gave me peace of mind with a diagnosis of minor issues.

The two staff working today, Sunday 03/15, went above and beyond. I went in to purchase a new truck battery, and they first offered to charge my current battery to see if I could continue using it rather than purchasing a new one. They explained everything to me in detail, were friendly, and overall great. My husband is deployed and taking care of his truck has been difficult - these guys made today a lot easier. Thank you!

There prices are higher than your average auto part store but the people that work here are so helpful and just give such amazing customer service it makes up the difference

A lot of stuff is available here, at this location. Thus thats a very big bonus. That stated, I find the prices to be on the high side. Which is a matter of concern for many people.

After calling them on the phone at north commercial store and confirmed they will match autozone price for brakes rotors. When I got there they refused to match. I have commercial account with autozone and orailly. I even asked about if they do commercial accounts for business and they hesitate to give me info.

Fast, personable staff. Great place.

Treated me like i have girl brains and didnt even bother to check for the part i was asking for, just shook his head and rolled his eyes and told me there was no such OEM part, they are all universal. (Not true, i bought one here 2 months ago, he just didnt want to bother to have to go to the back to get it.)

They are very helpful and you can find most small vehicle items here and if its not in stock they can order it in.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Well stocked with quality parts. Fair prices. I stopped going anywhere else in Salem years ago. I used to frequent the Napa on Portland Rd years back, but the consistent superior customer service attitude at this location and ability to be truly informative without being annoying about it have earned my loyalty.

Ryan and Josh could not have been more helpful. Cop pulled us over for blown brake light. On a Sunday, it took us a while to get the brake light out of our Toyota Highlander. Ryan would not give up. Josh joined in. I was blown away by their helpful can-do attitude. I wish every where had this level of customer service.

Its surprising how often you find the best rated parts here for a lower price than AutoZones cheap parts. That being said this place is geared more towards professionals, and the products found here are more helpful for someone who works on cars all the time. (Less toys more tools)

People were nice loaned me a funnel so I could put my oil in.

Who says the internet is cheaper? Not when I called these guys just blocks from my location. I saved $10 on the part I was looking for, and theyre happy to help you out with any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend this place for those needful things your car wont let you live without, lol.

The evening my wife was released from the hospital after major surgery our car was having trouble when I went into the store the 2 guys works didnt waste anytime they jumped right in and helped me figure out what the problem was got me the parts and even gave me the loan of the tools to fix it I will be shopping for all my auto supplies here no matter what I may save other places all the other stores I called acted like they didnt care it was almost closeing time but not here thank gentleman you made my wife and I feel better and her happy GOOD JOB

Parts is parts, right? Yes, and theyve got a great selection here. Some of the most helpful service reps of any auto parts store Ive been to.

My credit union had an offer to get cash back when using my debit card on purchases from Advance Auto Parts. Since I needed a couple of things anyway, I chose to go there rather than any number of other auto parts stores that would have been a little less out of my way. Unfortunately, their card reader is set up under a different name (Carquest), so I didnt automatically get the reward like I usually would. Now I am having to spend time on the phone with my credit union asking them to look into this. This seems like a very sneaky way for a vendor to drum up business from a partner without actually having to pay out on the rewards.I would give the business a one star review for this kind of trickery, but their employees were very nice and helpful and didnt pressure me to buy things I didnt need. So, props to nice employees, but boo to business trickery.

First associate (gentleman with cast and ponytail) was quite rude. When I asked for help with hub caps and wheel covers he told me just look at the damn tires. I wanted to get parts, not get berated for my lack of car knowledge. Second associate who checked me out was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.

The people at the counter are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. On my last visit I was helped with windshield wipers not working properly. He even installed them for me.

I went in here to get the exact paint for my new car that I had scuffed-up. They had the perfect match for the paint on my car. When I walked in I got service right away and he took care of us jail the job is done.

One of my headlights went out just as I was driving through downtown Salem before dark. Not only did they have the replacement I needed, but one of the clerks (I didnt catch his name, but he was one of two guys working 9/13/17 at 6:30pm) happily installed it for me so I wouldnt get greasy while wearing a suit. He wouldnt even let me tip him. Thank you AAP for saving my date night!

Stopped to change a brake light on my car. They helped a lot and were very friendly and courteous.

Chase was kind enough to test my alternator in the rain. With a happy disposition, I will be returning in the future.

The counter people actually know cars here...competitive pricing also. Its worth paying a little extra just to get helped by someone who doesnt ask what transmission I have when I need a wiper motor.

John, Don and the rest of the crew are great. They are way better than AutoZone or oriellys. Youll get the help and experience you need as long as youre not a knuckle head. Be respectful and ask questions they will provide honest recommendations and even suggest ways to save money.

This is the only parts store in town that hasnt given bad info or wrong parts. The staff go above and beyond to help. These dudes rock. Thanks again for all your help!

I really like that I can talk to these guys and not feel like theyre treating me like a dumb blonde. They also are knowledgeable about parts and not afraid to steer you in a different direction. Great place if you cant wait for internet prices.

Passing thru. Stopped in to get a couple parts for my truck. When I walked in one parts man was helping a customer on the phone(and sounded to be very helpful for them). Another parts counter man was on the floor fronting additives bottles. He acknowledged me finally after a couple of minutes and said Ill be right with you. As he was walking to the counter to help me he ignored me to answer the phone that started ringing. Didnt ask the phone customer to hold just started looking up his parts. I turned around and walked out of the store. I wont be going back to this store
