I called Japanese Connection because my Honda wasn’t starting properly. Mark was able to schedule me for the next day. He diagnosed the issue after I brought it in and let me know what it would cost to fix everything. He fixed all the issues and I was able to pick my car up the same day. Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be coming back if I need any future repairs.

Mark at Japanese Connection is amazing. The O2 sensor in my Acura MDX was going bad. He fixed it in a day and for under $400. While he had my car he looked it over and let me know any potential future issues on my work order. Most other places would call you and try to get you to get everything done right then regardless of your budget. He just made a note and let me know how long it would take to fix those issues. Its nice going to a mechanic with a moral compass. Making sure he helps the customers current needs while not trying to just earn a quick buck by playing the you should fix this now or it could leave you stranded scheme. He explained how it needs fixed eventually but its not a right now situation. Will definitely be going back.

I never write reviews. This is actually my first. I will not badmouth this business, I just wanted to get some clarity for what I experienced this morning when I called. I just purchased a 1985 Mitsubishi Mighty Max mini truck yesterday. It is a great little classic truck that I am excited to work on and get it to be a reliable daily driver for me. I have used Japanese Connection on multiple occasions for my wifes Mitsubishi Outlander and have always had a wonderful experience taking her car here. The work was good, service was great and friendly and price was affordable. I was excited to purchase this truck knowing I would have a specialized local JDM mechanic to work on my truck to keep it running as long as possible. When I called this morning and inquired about making an appointment to have them merely inspect the truck and let me know if there was anything that I should look out for and possibly have fixed in the near future the answer they gave me was: We are unwilling to work on your truck because it is too old and the parts are limited. That was it. No real explanation. Just a refusal. I have spent hours last night looking at Mitsubishi parts available and other manufacturers of vehicles that share components and they are definitely available. I know its tax season, and maybe your business is swamped right now, but a refusal to work on the truck and not even a referral to a shop that could help me out left me confused and bummed. I wont go as far as to not recommend using Japanese connection, because as I stated earlier we had a wonderful experience bringing our vehicle there over the past couple years. Any input would help give me peace of mind and hopefully give me some direction on where or who is willing to work on this vehicle. Thanks.

Japanese Connection has been my only auto repair shop for over 20 years and multiple cars. Reasonable pricing, excellent service, quick turnaround. Marv and all of the mechanics and staff are very good at helping make an affordable decision that maintains the value of my vehicle. I have never felt overcharged for any of the various services Ive had completed there. They are very helpful, and can translate my concerns about noises, or odd movements in the car into appropriate diagnostics and repair. Honest mechanics are hard to find, I hope they stay in business for another 20 years!

They wont try and up sell you or use any kind of pressure sales tactics. They will always try the most affordable fix first. I have been to their shop twice for two completely unrelated issues and both times I was completely satisfied with the level of work and the sheer honesty of the mechanics. Great people to work with and affordable rates.

I took my Tacoma there and the staff Marv and Jackie were honest, fair and listened to my concerns. They were able to fix my Tacoma the same day. Its nice to know that I have a mechanic I can trust! Marv is awesome, friendly, and very reasonable to work with!!!I had a Toyota truck and bad luck struck causing the link gear to fall off the flywheel. It was a bigger job then Im geared to handle, so I took it in to Japanese Connection and they really did things right, and charged a rate that was definitely fair. If you cant do things yourself, then I would highly recommend bringing your car problems here!!Cheers!!
