I took my Dodge Ram 2500 in for a bad electronic throttle control and spoke with Travis about the manifold and exhaust issues. He quoted me a reasonable price for the repairs. I even double checked the price and found it to be spot on with other places. They got the job done quickly and the final bill was a couple of dollars less than the quote. Will definitely go back to these guys (but hopefully not too soon)

Said they fixed hybrids. Quoted me $7500 to fix mine. Paid over $600 for nothing. Basically training their mechanic to work on my car. Took him a week to tell me it wasnt charging, I knew that when I took it in there. He really had no idea what he was doing. I got it fixed at dealer for $1400. If I were them, I would have been ashamed to charge anything. Not happy with being charged for someone who doesnt know what they are doing. They really shouldnt advertise they work on hybrids. Thats why I took it to them, but obviously, THEY DO NOT.

Took my truck here to get an aftermarket clutch installed along with fuel filter changes and valve adjustment. They did the work relatively quickly and I had my truck back after a few days. When I called for a quote I asked if they would still provide a warranty even though I am providing my own parts and they said they would. When I picked it up they told me that they would not honor their warranty because I provided my own parts. They quoted me and we agreed for them to do the work. When I dropped it off they had me fill out a paper that was for my notes to the mechanic. I had requested a different fluid be put in my transmission that I provided. when I picked up the truck they told me that the fluid that was provided was the wrong one according to OEM and the put the correct fluid in there. The installation instructions for the clutch I provided recommended the exact fluid I provided but they must not have read that. The next day when I got home I noticed oil spots on my driveway and found it was coming from the shift tree. they had put liquid gasket on and tightend it immediately not allowing it to set so it squeezed all the gasket maker out not creating a seal. They also told me that they couldnt replace the fuel filter because the cap was on too tight. He said it shouldnt be an issue and I shouldnt have to replace the filter for a while even though my truck is telling me that I have 1,500 miles until I require a change. I asked if they changed the other filter the is in between the tank and the primary fuel filter and they had no idea what I was talking about. Yesterday I had replaced the fuel filters in my driveway with some harbor freight tools and only took me 20 min but they wanted to charge me for 4 hours of labor. Real tech doesnt seem to know what theyre doing and they dont really seem to be familiar with the vehicles they are working on. I do not recommend them and from now own ill be doing all the work myself. If you guys want quality work done at a reasonable price check with me first. ill just watch a youtube video and get the job done right the first time instead of these guys.Reply to Owner... First of all when I called I had specifically asked if the work would be warrantied because I know that most shops do not warranty work with customer supplied parts, I was told that the work would be warranted. Granted the man that I was speaking to sounded half asleep. Secondly if you google how many fuel filters does a 2013 ram 3500 have, it will clearly say two! But it is also referred to a a fuel water separator so that might have been where the confusion was. But you guys are a professional and reputable automotive repair shop so there would be no reason for that clarification. Also with another google search you would have know the the Manual transmission in my truck is a Mercedes made G56 and their recommendation for fluid is 75w-90 not ATF+4 which is automatic transmission fluid. The fluid I provided was Mobile Delvac SAE 50 which clearly said on the bottle that it was MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID.

Very nice people and they seem to do quality work. But after checking around on prices for work they did and recommended, their prices seem quite high.

Came in with a $1600 estimate from another shop in town for a total brake job... that it turns out I didnt need. After figuring out what I really needed I saved $100 and found my Salem mechanics. Honest and reasonably priced are not two things you can usually say about auto shops but with Doug, Allan, and the rest of the crew its the standard at RealTech. Hospitable and clean and I can recommend the benches on the porch. I wont trust my VanVardo to anyone else in town!

Real Tech got me in and took care of my problem. They did a good job of investigating to pinpoint the issue and resolve it. They even gave me a loaner vehicle which made missing my rig easier to deal with. The only minor gripe is I had to call them a couple times to get an update on status. I’d use them again.

My husband has used Real Tech for many years & we have always found them to be professional & not pushy when it comes to making a decision on repairing the rig. They gave us the pros and cons and the price always seem to be reasonable.

Have numerous old vehicles that can be challenging to fix. Real tech does it perfect and reasonable. Took sons car in and thought the wheel bearing was going out. Rather than just repair it they trouble set it and determine that the tires were bad, no charge. GREAT JOB

I took my Cadillac Escalade here a few months ago to have it worked on. It was having electrical issues.While my caddy was there, they found and fixed all the electrical issues that I wanted them to fix. Doug called me and told me that there was a few other issues they found which did not cost me much to get fixed. I also asked to get the oil changed. They did that for me.I feel like the took their time on my caddy and did a great job. Everything that was wrong with it was fixed when I got it back and it is running great. The bill was a good price for everything that I got fixed.Good customer service from Doug.If I ever have any issues with any of my rigs, I will be going to this place.

Bought a new car, for me, and had Real Tech replace the oil with AMSOIL (of course) as it looks like I am going to have this car for a long time.New to HYBRID engines, Allan educated me about the differences I can expect and put my concerns to rest.Long story short; Allan changed the oil, filter, checked and filled all the fluids, inspected the belts and coolant hoses for wear and cracks, checked for any coolant and oil leaks, checked the lights and tested the batteries, inspected the suspension and adjusted the proper tire pressure.I now feel I can take my new ride on vacation to anywhere confidently.I recommend Real Tech not only for vehicle repairs, but also for routine maintenance. Have you ever taken your vehicle to a mechanic and been told its not a mechanical failure, its the tires are going so bad its shaking your seat so you just need new tires on the front end? And then the mechanic doesnt even charge you for his time to tell you that? Well thats what Real Tech Auto did for me.Mechanics can get a bad rap for lying to make some extra money, and perhaps some deserve it, but not this place. Ive also had brakes done here, spark plugs and wires, and some fluid changes. Always superior service and craftsmanship. Staff are the best.

As a construction contractor it is vital to have my vehicles rolling. Poor Doug and the rest of the Real Tech team have to deal with the abused work vehicles I bring him, and on top of it all Im not the most patient person. Doug earned my business with the very first job I brought him. Try as I might I couldnt find anybody in town that would do the job. Finally I was referred to Real Tech and they did a fantastic job then and ever since. I have especially grown to trust Dougs service advice and truly do appreciate the working relationship we have formed over the years. We have developed different levels of severity when it comes to classifying the urgency of the work (wifes car is a class all its own) They range from not really important to better fix it now or you will be angry that you didnt. I believe in hiring people who are better than I am, Doug is my mechanic. I am happy to pay him for many reasons, not the least of which is that I am not a mechanic and I need someone to keep me informed about what is really going on with my rigs, not just the problems I already know about.
