Installer Fail, Poor Company Follow Up: Our process with Carpet One started smoothly. We worked with Kent on selecting new carpet for a rental property. He was professional and responsive. When I called to confirm the installation, apparently Kent no longer worked there. The installers ended up leaving a door off a hinge and the hinge on the floor and they did not bother telling us (or Carpet One) that there was an issue so I was told everything went well when they called to collect the final payment. Instead, our tenants had to tell us about the problem and I had to go to the store personally and follow up four times by phone. Now its eight days after the installation and the installers are saying that there was a problem with the hinge so they wont rehang the door. Time will tell how this issue resolves, but at this point the communications with Carpet One since the installation have been terrible. Based on this experience, I wouldnt recommend this company.
