I love this store. They are country and usually have what I want. They also have a washing station for you smaller animals and dogs at a great price.

Coastal is awesome. They have so much interesting stuff they I want to own a ranch just so I need things. Large supply of tools, camping gear, firearms, clothing, you name itThere is a vet clinic inside and the even sell baby chickens and turkeys.Just a large clean inviting store

Coastal is nice to have when you need items you cant find at normal stores or hardware stores. They carry good products, so prices are steep, cuz you actually get what you pay for instead of cheap imitation crud made overseas. It is a farm store, and I shop there for things needed for that lifestyle.

Super friendly and patient cashiers. Had a two year old with a meltdown and the cashier was completely patient and understanding, when I was about to actually lose my mind. Manager was super sweet as well. There was an item that I was wanting to buy but it had been played on by other children and there was not any in back stock so he discounted it for me and I think that was super awesome.

Great place the staff was very helpful with the project I was working on at the time. I got the wrong parts at first and they had no problems returning the wrong parts that I had purchased. Good people their.

This was my first time in here and it was amazing and they had a lil bit of everything but I really enjoyed walking through and there staff was 50/50.

Went to Home Depot to purchase a gas hedge trimmer and they didnt have any, so the clerk said to check Coastal so we did. Ee found just what we were looking for and the clerk checked it out, put gas in it, showed us how to start it and we were very pleased with the Stihl product and service!!

I could spend hours in this store. I am a interstate car hauler and this store has products that I considered quality. In this business you count on the products that you use to maintains quality service.

Awesome selection. Establishment is kept very clean and orderly. Very easy to find most everything related to farming or animal husbandry. From cow fences to barbecues, from firearms to outdoor gear, apparel abounds and assistance is always nearby. Perfect for window shopping for your husbands birthday or nephews graduation, or for that special woman in the market for new fly fishing gear. Not as overpriced as Sportsmans. Highly recommend.

I cant say much about this store. I havent had the opportunity to actually explore all they have to offer. They do have the best price around for propane, which will keep me coming back. They are extremely close to home so really saved the day when I ran out of gas mid cook. Staff all seem friendly, which I value highly.

Was looking for wood stove chimney parts and was met by excellent customer service.

Costal is a far superior use of this space compared to Shopko, the previous tenant. There is special purpose hardware which I had never seen before, but I dont claim to be a rancher/farmer. Nice display of Stihl tools, but I dont think there are any chainsaws available for purchase in Oregon. And theres country music. . . .

Great place. Lots of products and great variety. Average customer service. But the prices are very high. We found a couple of things but then just went to other local stores and saved enough money to make it worth the effort to leave and shop somewhere else.

Some of the best prices/variety on for tools, compared to other big box stores.

We got our chickens here and they are some great birds. This is place is a great place to shop. There are so many things to find here and the prices are fair.

There were alot of dogs with their owners while we lated. Hercules got to get a wash, it was very good. Hes never been in a dog tub before this, but after calming him down a bit it was easy. The shampoo and conditioner smells so good. The water temperature was a bit hard to understand cause I didnt check the bottom of it till 5 minutes in. They forgot to give us towels, but other than that it was good, easy, and efficient. If you need to bathe your dog, then go here :3

Always a great place to get outdoor supplies and equipment. Their new store in salem is located in the old shopco building at the end of Lancaster and hwy 22 near Winco foods.

Spendy but good store

I went up to the lady up front who had just finished helping coordinating a pick up (not a cashier) and asked where I would find a cradle for firewood. She told me they didnt have any. I asked if they had any adjustable ones even. She said they actually did have a couple of cradles if I wanted to look at them and they were back there by the shelf. (Very vague pointing.) After much looking, we found they did have 2 different types of cradles-exactly what I wanted. Then, we had to try to find which 1 register was open-not easy if their are no lights and the registers are stacked so you cant see the cashier.GO TO WILCO!

Bigger than the one in Albany. Or at least seems like it. Had a better selection of shoes/ boots which is what we were looking for.

They recently changed the way you purchase feed for your animals. Instead of getting the bags yourself, they started giving you a pickup slip from the checkout counter, and then youre supposed to around to the side of the building where they are supposed to load it into your car. Today we sat there for 30 minutes along with 4 other cars, and no one came out. I rang the bell 3 times with no luck. I finally went back inside to get a refund and the checker was extremely rude to me. I handed her the loading slip and she asked me for the receipt instead. Before we got that finalized the guy finally came out and loaded my bags. No manager anywhere in site. Employees all over the store standing around and talking with each other, but no one to load feed. Everyone that I have interacted with in the atire is extremely rude and not very helpful. I am really disappointed in this store.

Extremely large farm supply store I was just looking for some chicken feed and it amazes me how much inventory is available Im just about anything that you can imagine that includes farming.

This is one of the biggest coastal farms in the Oregon stores they have camping farming gardening they even have a really nice pets section and not just dog and cats they also have horse saddles they also have clothing too the staff seems very nice not like the big box stores it feels like your family when you walk in did I mention that the first coastal is only 30 minutes away from here in Albany

I had been calling vets for 2 days trying to get my puppy in for his shots and to be chipped and nobody could get her in for 2 weeks to 6 six weeks. I was able to walk in and greeted by a friendly staff. I didnt have to wait at all. The prices were lower than I expected. Even after getting chipped and having her shots my puppy still liked them. Great team there. If I wasnt moving in 2 days I would have loved to take her there for the remainder of her shots.

I always enjoy going to Coastal. Its clean, has great service and selection the people who work there have always been consistently nice.

Great value for your money. One stop shop you get everything here from pet food to tools just everything, they have clothes and just about everything!!! the only thing it doesnt it doesnt have is groceries so I definitely recommend everybody go here. And ill say whoever came up the idea of this store was an absolute genius!!!

A lot of stuff here. Pretty much a one stop shop for work and weather wear. Huge selection of FR gear, and all sorts of boots. Most prices are reasonable or better than the competition from what I saw. Theres even toys for the kiddos.Service was pretty good, I was only browsing today but I was asked if I needed help 3 times in 15/20 minutes. Thats just right to me. Ill definitely be back when I need something in the future.

Havent been to Coastal for years. I only went to Coastal in Oregon City and The Dalles. I heard that there used to be one in Salem so I didnt know that. Glad to hear they have offically returned back in the old Shopko building! Inside was very busy few days after the grand opening.

First time n there. Not sure if the store is usually out of certain items but as for the things I was shopping for (husbands Carhaarts & a few other random things) none of it was available 😒

They had a great price on suet 2 boxes of 10 each for $10. The only problem, was trying to find it, I had to finally ask an associate. Checkout was also a little slow, they needed more checkers.
