Ive ALWAYS been pleased with the work they have done for me, and so I am a repeater customer!!! The work is done when promised - you cant go wrong here! Its pricey, but its Worth it.

I also have had alterations done here before, and they are simply amazing at what they do. They are also very flexible and will get your alterations back to you whenever you need it, and work around your schedule. I was in panic mode when I realized one of my business trips was a day away but my pants and such were too big and didn’t fit, I brought them to Salem Custom Tailoring and they finished it for me and told me it would take just a couple hours! It was perfectly done and was completed and ready for pick up 1.5 hours after dropping it off. If I could rate this place a million stars I would! I was referred here by my sister in law took my wedding gown here because I had to add 5 inches to it after having it previous altered. It’s a hard job and not many people would have wanted to take it on due to the nature of my dress. They made it look easy and you would have never known they even touched the dress by the looks of it!! it’s perfect. I should also should mention I took it in a rush with a week before my wedding date. I will refer anyone to this place!! Don’t go anywhere else. Price was very reasonable.

I brought in two pairs of jeans to be fixed for my husband. When I picked them up, I had my one year old with me and Im six months pregnant so things are a little more difficult for me. The gentleman who worked there told me hed meet me outside so I wouldnt have to get my baby girl out of the car for a quick check-out. That was so kind to offer! I forgot to bring cash with me, so he gave me the jeans before I even paid for them. I got cash and came back the same day. Theyre very kind and thoughtful, great customer service, and they did a wonderful job on his jeans. My hubby is happy... Happy hubby, happy life. 👍😉

I was on a tight turnaround time to have my bridesmaid dress altered about a week before the wedding. They did an amazing job, not only consulting me on how the dress should fit and the length it should be based on my shoes, but they completed the alterations a few days early for me to come back in and try it on. I brought in my wedding dress that I could barely even get into. I thought it needed so much more work than what it ended up being. Just by looking at me in the dress these guys knew exactly what to do. I left there with a smile on my face and a much more comfortable and beautiful dress! I rarely give five stars, but this family-owned business was fantastic. I needed a suit and a sports coat tailored very quickly and they came through amazingly fast. Im a bit of an odd size and they were able to tailor a suit so it looks perfect. Prices were awesome and what a selection of custom suits, shirts... I couldnt recommend these guys enough. As an aside, they also told me they rent prom dresses as well

I have had multiple suits, a peacoat and many shirts altered in various ways when I thought I was going to have to just get new clothes. This man does a magnificent job and is reasonably priced. I highly recommend coming here for all your alterations and tailoring. The clothes come out perfect and look like they are straight from the company itself. He also cleans and presses the clothes so they are fresh and ready to go when you pick it up. Also works very quickly if a time limit is specified.

When I went to pick up dress on the date they gave me. They knew it was for a wedding. It was NOT done when I got there. They forgot to do one part of the job. They Made no apologies and said come back tomorrow. I’m 30 minutes from the store and it was extremely inconvenient. When I returned the next day and asked for a $10 discount for the inconvenience; they made a million excuses about all the seamstresses being ill and still charged the outrageous $85 for the shotty work. Do not recommend.

I dropped off jeans that were too long, and therefore tattered, to be hemmed. I cleaned up (sorta) the bottom hem by cutting the worst off. Then pinned rather sloppily the length I wanted. Needless to say, they looked awful. I was beyond pleased when I picked them up today. A PERFECT hem. They look brand new! I am absolutely thrilled! Aside from quality workmanship, they were very nice and friendly.Thank you!

Spot-on tailoring. Very precise when measuring. Had 2 pairs of pants done. One inseam and one for the seat. Both were perfect. Took 2 more pants and a wool coat. The owner is a perfectionist.

I went to have my bridesmaid dress altered. I needed the sides to be taken in, and straps and overall length shortened. I was pleased with the professionalism and care I received during my first visit. When I picked up my dress I was estatic... it fit so well and the alterations were finished so seemlessly that I could not even tell that it had been taken in on the sides. The straps were still a little too long but one of the owners shortened them again in just 5 minutes while I waited.If youre looking for skilled taylors, look no further. I would recommend to anyone!

This place is amazing! My best friend got married last month and I was fortunate enough to be included in the bridal party. Due to personal flaws of my own, it was down to about a week before the big day and I still needed to have my dress hemmed (about 6 or7 inches). Never having had anything altered before and being new to the area, I was on a frantic google search. Salem Custom Tailoring was one of the results. It had good reviews and was just down the street from me. I was able to send them an email right from their website to see if they could do what I needed in such a time crunch. They responded quickly and never for a second made me feel poorly about waiting last minute. I was instructed to bring the dress by first thing the next day. I stopped in before work and I was in and out in about 15 mins. That was on a Wednesday morning and I was able to pick up my beautifully hemmed Bridesmaid dress by Saturday. The day I picked it up, I was greeted with immense smiles. I was offered delicious baklava/water and invited to sit and enjoy a break. I was so busy with my bridal duties that I needed to take my treat on the go. They were so welcoming and friendly and even carried my dress to my car. Those over at Salem Custom Tailoring took what would have been a major stress and turned it into a pleasant errand. I will definitely keep them in mind for my future alteration needs.Thank you! :)

First off the father is a fantastic tailor. He is the one to go to. That said, his sons, not so much. I just had a 200$ dress ruined. It is unwearable. I only wanted the straps on the front moved, and taken in on the sides which were gaping. When I got it back, one strap was shorter than the other, the sides were bulky. The strap got fixed to match the other but dress looks awful - the sides have rolls because it was sawn uneven and the zipper does not glide like it used to because of the work done. I am sorry I took my dress there. Needless to say after paying $50, now a $250 dress looks like 20 $ dress AND I have to find another tailor to fix it.

Had an opportunity to buy an insulated one piece motorcycle suit for a super-discounted price, and while it fit ok, the legs were a few inches too long. Brought it to SCT and for an incredibly reasonable price, given that the legs have zippers, velcro closures and an elastic cuff, they were able to tailor the suit to fit me perfectly. Terrific job, price and done in short order too!

This place is Amazing.I brought in a winter jack to get a slider replaced.When I brought it in he looked over the entire jacket and found a few rips in the seams I didnt notice.He asked if I wanted them repaired and I said yes.He put in a whole new zipper and mended the rips in just 2 days.My jacket looked awesome and I was so happy with his work.He also has very fair prices.They sell beautiful prom dresses there too.Just drop in or call you wont be disappointed.Thank You so much for fixing my jacket.You have a customer for life.
