A friend recommended Premier to us as an option for kitchen countertops. Our first visit to this store was great. The customer service was excellent and they had a huge selection to explore. We found a countertop that same visit. The installers that came to our home were professional and kind and did an amazing job. After install we noticed a section at a seam that was noticeably different in color and reported this to Premier. With no issues at all they offered to come out and replace that piece with a new match. Were extremely happy with our purchase and highly recommend them.

Excellent, hassle-free, customer service from start to finish!!!! Everyone was great, nice, helpful, and were true to their word. They gave us dates and times when they would show up AND they arrived on time after calling ahead to let us know they were on their way!! There was no about date for an install time like many other retailers were giving us. Plus, Premier has a large selection of full slabs you can actually see in their yard instead of trying to imagine what it would look like from a 12X12 sample. Their pricing was also far better on the same or better quality stone that the big box stores carry. HIGHLY recommend you support this quality local business.

We are so pleased with our new Quartz countertops. Christian was helpful and easy going. The man who measured was extremely polite. Although he was new, he made sure my stone was right. Johnny and David came to install and were very attentive to detail. They cleaned up and didn’t act rushed to get out the door. Premier Stone was the cheapest (and fastest) quote I found in Roanoke and Salem. Would definitely do business again.

I am beyond pleased with the customer service and countertop installation from Premier Stone. Christian was incredibly helpful and patient as he guided me through the the entire process. He answered all of my questions and gave me great advice regarding my specific design esthetic. Jim, the owner, did the template for my kitchen himself and also offered great guidance, reassurance, and suggestions on how to make my kitchen design even better. My wife and I worked with Christian to find the perfect granite for our bathroom vanity and he spent a considerable amount of time helping us find the perfect piece. The installers just got finished and we could not be happier with the results. Awesome is all we can say! The installers did an excellent job and answered all of our questions about replacing our kitchen counter tops. We picked out our slab and the day before install we get a call stating our slab is bowed and we need to come out and pick another slab. By now, we have already picked out our backsplash and have everyone scheduled. We went to the yard, picked out another stone and he charged us an additional $500 for the new stone bc it was marble. We said fine. The next day, installers arrive and the piece is cut too short. In talking to the installers (very nice guys) come to find out someone cut our original slab wrong and Christian lied to us! Then, I am told my counters will not be done that day and they will get to them tomorrow afternoon. I called back and said can you get me in tomorrow morning bc I have other people waiting to finish this job. He said we will try our best. They didn’t come til the afternoon. But once again, something was wrong, so a one day promised turned into a 3 day project. Next, we had our vanity done with them also, the person who templates messed up the centering. When I called about this, Christian said, you didn’t know this a few days ago? I told him no, bc we haven’t used that bathroom for weeks as we had a complete remodel done in it and I didn’t notice it until it was time to use it again. He began accusing me of how I told the installer I wanted it that way. Anyway, we ask to speak to the owner, the owner gets on the phone and sets up a time to meet us at our home to see what was done. We took the scheduled day off from work and he doesn’t show up. No phone call, nothing. We called and Christian said oh he already talked to the installer and it wasn’t his fault. I was so shocked over the terrible customer service from both Christian and the owner himself. None of the problems got resolved and we paid them just to have this ordeal over with. My husband and I are both business owners and we have always taken our customers complaints seriously and have went out of our way to correct mistakes that have been made so this was just very shocking to me to see an owner not care about his customers enough to even call them back. Go to premier stone if you want to get yelled at and blamed for their mistakes, but keep in mind, what you see is not what you get.

I had a Bianco Rhino Marble top made for my Mothers Christmas present and she is still gushing about how much she loves it! The help I received in choosing color and design was bar none! These guys really know what they are talking about! The Folks at Premier work hard and in an honest fashion to make the BEST PRODUCT! My favorite part of the whole process was being able to wander through the stones in the yard. There are so many choices! Thank you Premier Stone!

Christian was very nice and we had a great experience until they delivered the granite for the 2 bathrooms. We had ordered leathered granite for both bathrooms and polished granite was delivered and installed. I wasnt home when it was installed and my husband didnt notice. Polishing completely changed the look of the granite and it is not what I ordered. I called asking what could be done and they didnt offer to do anything. I am very disappointed in the customer service and unfortunately cant recommend them.

My name is Rebekah and I bought 3 pieces of granite from premier stone in salem va. The first piece was an exotic that I put on my island. The other 2 pieces were absolute black. I was assured that a solute black was a color that they always had in stock. The first section of absolute black was installed and I loved it. The second section was installed while I was at work. When I arrived home the difference in the 2 sections was totally different. I called the next morning to complain. Christian told me that there was nothing that could be done. That I had picked absolute black and there could be minor difference. I told Christian that they were 2 total different color. I then had the owner come see the work as soon as he got there he could see the difference across the room. He even measured the thickness and the 2 sections are not the same. The owner told me that they might be different batches. I said that I wanted the first section. Not the batch from the second. The owner said I could check back. I called 2 months later. Christian told me that they could take outthe first section and put in the color of the second section. I said no because I loved the first color and didnt like the second color. Christian told me that it could take months before they got that batch in. I said I would keep checking. I kept receiving Bills from premier stone wanting the remaining 500.00 balance. I did not pay because the job was not finishedI received a text from christian this past friday informing me that that premier stone is putting a lien on my home for not paying the balance. Premier has done nothing to fix this screwUp that they created. I have now turned this matter over to my attorney. Be very cautious when dealing with this company. They promise you everything but when something goes wrong they dont want to fix it.

I think the best word to describe Premier Stone is WOW! They cut and installed a beautiful vanity, desk top for my house and it was amazing. I have heard horror stories about other granite companies, but these guys were just the opposite; great customer service, highest quality fabrication and installation that I have ever seen, and the most honest contractors I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend Premier Stone to anyone who is looking to install granite in their home!

Horrible, Horrible experience with Premier Stone Fabrication in Salem, VA.They measured incorrectly and we paid $2k extra to have it recut. All our other contractors had wait weeks to get in to finish the work. The granite back splash for the sink was measured incorrectly and had to be redone. The back splash for the rest of the kitchen didnt match well and looked liked scraps were used. The friendly salesman was screaming on the phone and not interested in fixing the problem but getting the money. He wouldnt allow me to say anything and I found myself trying to yell over him. I finally was forced to hangup. When I tried to find out when the problem would be fixed the salesperson intimated that since I was complaining, it could take longer! It was a sorry day when we walked into their showroom. Dont make the same mistake.
