I was intrigued by the concept of the store and was interested in all the tea accessories. I warmly greeted the woman behind the counter, excited to be in the store and she completely ignore me as if I was invisible. My fiancé was shocked to watch her look me up and down and completely ignore my existence. She did make sure to look at my to go food bag that I had from my dinner at the schedule wonderful restaurant Sea Level next door to ensure I wasnt taking anything. Ive had an amazing trip of shopping and dining in Salem until this moment. I have never in my life felt so judged as I have in this location.

Amazing shop! The variety of antique books is extensive, and the gals are always willing to keep an eye out for special requests for older copies of books. This place has a little bit of Victorian era, mixed with steampunk, and a whole lot of Salem. When I was in last, one of the women had given me a suggestion for a book for my wife, and it was one of the best gifts I could have given to her (given that my wife is a teacher). We were able to get some of the other books in the series in the shop, and once again are grateful to support and read local!

Victorian bits and bobs! Pretty frilly things, Sherlockian items, Nevermore quote the crow if youre a Poe fan. Journals, books, candles and jewels a perfect little something for you and someone on your gift list.

This is one of my all-time favorite bookstores. They have a good selection of books, including rare books, plus a variety of fun literary-themed items. The service is impeccable.

This is a must place bookstore to stop by when youre in Salem. I happened to stumble on it on the way to walking to the candy shop. I got a few unique books at this location, teas and accessories. The ladies at the shop are very nice and helpful. They offer unique accessories, gifts and books.

Very charming store with a good selection of books, accessories, and clever decor. The lady running the store was wonderful and we chatted over our mutual love of the Outlander series. I bought some of my favorite Salem souvenirs here!
