Pier 1 has a wide range of items to decorate your home for any season, occasion or holiday. Their prices are competitive with other stores, but they usually offer discounts on seasonal items. They are now offering a 20% discount on Christmas items and flowers . I often find myself looking at items that are on clearance. Its a good place to shop when your looking for something different.

Nice things but too expensive. My memory of Pier1 of long ago was that of a store that had imports costing very little. They had sets of dinnerware and silverware for someone just starting out on their own. They had thin madras bedspreads from India. The store smelled of incense. This is what Pier 1 should be, not what it has become, a store catering to the rich yuppie crowd

Assistant manager was rude to her staff in front of myself and other customers. Very unhelpful and snappy. I had to walk out. I will go to another store from now on as that behavior is unacceptable.
