I went to buy a computer. While I was searching for one, I noticed two employees just chatting about hardware issues instead of assisting customers. Neither of them took the time to assist me, so I went somewhere else to buy one. These guys need some customer service skills.

Nice employees. If they dont know an answer they will direct you to someone who will know. Payment plans on everything, but be careful. My first laptop was a payment plan and ended up only paying interest for a couple years. Make sure you can pay it off within the 0 interest period. Some customers dont know how to wait in line to ask a question. Dont be that guy. Be patient.

Had the phone case I needed and wanted and the store pick was pretty quick only thing was the prices. They said clearance but it was a discount of $1 or $2. Usually you think at least $5+ or 15% off+ depending of course on price range of the product. But got what I needed and I was good

I took my iphone for a repair they charge me 50 dollars more than my ipad that i send myself to apple. i got my ipad after 5 days, its been 8 days and i havent receive my iphone from best buy also when i took it thwy told me they were going to lag 6-8 days which they lied. Do urself a favor and dont bring ur apple items to this lying store

I had to wait 45 minutes and asked for help four times before someone came over to help me. The person that was sent to help me could not answer any of my questions or even check to see if they have it in stock. So I left and went down the road to home Depot and found the exact same thing but it was $65.00 cheaper. I would recommend checking out ether places before going in there again. What a waist of time. I work all day and want to spend my hard earned money on a new stove and refrigerator with a good reputation and get treated like that. Ill spend my money where they treat me like its important to keep there doors open. By the way I ended up spending $3872.83 on them.

I used to like going here, that was until we were follow all around the store by their loss and prevention team, my daughter that is 14 also noticed and felt really uncomfortable, this happened here in Salinas went to Marina to look for the camera for my daughter found it my husband bought it from there and we are on our way to returned it since it happened there too, thank you but prefer to spend our money somewhere else👎

I am very upset with Best Buy/Geek Squad. I purchased a new washer on April 1st, 2021 to be delivered, installed, and the old washer to be hauled away today, April 7th, 2021. Everything was great. Chris Gutierrez pre-called me 30-45 minutes before his arrival, we did our part clearing a path to the old washer and had space in our driveway to make it as easy as possible for them. He came in for a few minutes, determined a hose was corroded and couldnt complete the install or haul away the old washer. After Chris left, my wife took a pair of pliers removed this supposedly impossible to remove hose to come off with ease and did the install herself in 3 minutes. When I called them to get the issue resolved and my money back for the install, the receptionist on the phone was of no help saying that because the washer was delivered that they wont refund anything for the services that werent rendered. When asked multiple times to speak to a manager, they refused to transfer me. So I told them no problem and would dispute the charge with my bank who were more than happy to assist me. After this experience, I would NOT RECOMMEND utilizing Best Buy/Geek Squad services for installation and hauling away old appliances.

Ive always liked coming to Best Buy because of their customer service but today they lacked in that department. I was in to purchase a modem/router and I was having some difficulty on which one I should get. The thing that kinda bugged me was that at least 2 sales associates walked past me and didnt offer any kind of help. I was in that particular isle for at least 15 minutes looking confused but I got over it quick cause I found what I was looking for. A little acknowledgement goes a long way especially for people like me who have a confused look on their face. But this wont keep me from coming back. Today was an off day I guess you can call it for them which is rare. All in all I still would recommend coming her. Where else would you go? Walmart? No thanks!

I love best buy. But there is so few employees to help. I had to go to front checking lady - and wait while she dealt with other customers and didnt once look at me- to watch another employee walk by who I stopped as he was passing me by and not looking at me either so I could ask for help in refrigerator area.To be fair, the man did help us and go above and beyond looking at different stores to see which one had the freezer we wanted in stock, as well as models that were available for order when ours we were looking for were out of stock and not orderable.He is the reason there was an added star.

Had the part I needed, able to suggest alternatives, benefits. Also, a welcome thing for me... recognized that I needed help, approached quickly to offer assistance, went directly to the needed item without wasting time trying to sell some latest, greatest of the day. I appreciate also being able to make payment in the area of purchase, from the sales person I was dealing with rather than having to wait in another cashier line. Allows sales rep to suggest other cautions, suggestions. Feels more personal than the herd line of some other big stores.

Dont expect to get geek squad service from many California locations including this one in Salinas, they will insist you make an appointment but will not answer their phones for you to be able to do so in advance. I have been trying to get a phone exchanged all day at multiple California locations and they all try to dismiss you. I will jot be buying my next phone through best buy.

Nothing too special. It is an electronics store. One thing to note however, the employees here were MUCH more chipper and excited compared to other retail stores such as Sears or Walmart.I might have been lucky, but I would say that this is a good store to go to if you want to buy computer parts, especially for replacing parts in a desktop PC. I came here to buy a new power supply, (that is the part in a computer that turn electricity from your house into electricity that your computer can use), and it was a great experience. I asked for help from an employee and they were quick and snappy to respond. Perhaps even eager to help.At the checkout, I inquired about their return policies. Their return policy is not as generous as Amazon, (Amazon is king of retail) but 14 days for if you want to return your item is plenty long in my opinion. Also, the checkout lady was quick answer my questions and I would say very good customer service.I would recommend.

Can’t even call for general questions.I placed an order online for store pick up, which stated “1 left in stock, order for same day pickup” and got an email after my order that it wouldn’t be ready until next week. Strange right? I tried to call an hour later so their system can update my order to ask if it really is going to take a whole week or if it was ready sooner, but the automated answering machine is just a hassle to get through, and when asking for customer service representative, I get put on hold for 20+ minutes until I decided to hang up. It was a Saturday so maybe they were just busy. I try again today, Monday afternoon, same exact thing. 20+ minutes on hold and I hang up. Something even stranger? The item I ordered is still listed online as “1 left in stock, order for same day pickup” If it’s not really available, just say so BestBuy. I gave you guys business over Amazon because you “had it in stock” but I don’t really think you ever did. Shame on your deceitful tactics.

I was waiting in line for one of the employees to finishing talking to another customer. A couple formed up behind me then walked off to look for what they wanted. Well the employee turned around and without even looking at the line walked off to help them out. Good 5-10 min wait and he decides to walk off and help them first. Not good customer service. Needless to say I was looking to upgrade but not at this location. Final trip I ever take to any Best Buy to shop for electronics.

I did an online order for pickup in the Salinas location and apparently BEST BUY is giving away customers order to anyone. They are apparently not AUTHENTICATING with picture IDs they are only verifying with emails only. Unfortunately I was unlucky and someone compromised my email and was able to give the confirmation code to Best Buy and they just gave them my $1400 Mac Book Pro that I needed for work. The manager in the store says they cant help me to call customer care. I called they told me that they cant help me that it needs to be done at there store because thats the place the order was sent. So no one is helping me or taking the initiative to help. I tried calling back to talk to Mike the Assistant Manager and he says that I need to file a police report. For something that was not even my fault. Nor did I ever receive in my hands. According to customer care. Nationwide all Best Buys are being even more aware and more secure so we are checking IDs with all pick ups So sounds like the manager “Mike” doesnt want to take responsibility of one of his reps giving away a $1400 devise to the wrong person. Seems like they are just brushing me off so they don’t have to deal with it. Best Buy is leaving a sour taste in my mouth, sorry to say.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER Get you car stereo installed here!!!!! I bought my car stereo here and they have rescheduled me three times and each time being a month apart.1st it was they couldn’t install it for a month when the guy I bought it from said it should only be a week! 2nd time it was they scheduled me at a time when the installer wasn’t there! 3rd time was the installer didn’t show up so I had to wait another month! I bought my stereo back at the end of August and now they’re telling me they can’t install it till the beginning of December!!! Biggest joke ever!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!

First time I ever go in and nobody ask me if I need help. Bought a printer a few months ago and needed supplies for it. I stood in line for about 15min rite in front of the male employee who was flirting with a customer. I walked away to printer supplies and another customer (male) told me he needed help but the employee had been with the same customer for about 30 min before me. Bad service today. If you dont belive me or the customer I spoke with. Look at your security cameras!

It is a good store but unfortunately there are a few people that take their job for granted. They forget that the person buying the products are essentially paying for their wages. They should take pride in their work and knowledge of their products. Half the time I feel as though I know more about their products and website than they do. Store is clean and organized and that is appreciated. Their in-store pickup is quick and they are normally attentive and ready at the registers. Overall a good store and better than others I have visited in the past.
