Our truck overheated on our road trip north. I had my wife and baby with me. Towed the truck to Midas on a busy Saturday. Jeff was absolutely amazing. The radiator busted, he got us back on the road within a few hours. What a nice guy that went above and beyond. He topped off all fluids and tweaked a few other things that he noticed. Wish we lived closer to you guys. We would service our cars there. So thankful.

I took my truck to have the belts looked over and the wheels rotated.They did not even attempt to align the vehicles wheels claiming the struts were not acceptable and I had leaks and red brake lights coming on, etc.This is a complete lie. I had a reputable mechanic elsewhere already go over and replace the equipment they were now saying was missing.I intended to get my wheels rotated and ended up with none of that. Instead I got a $2300+ quote for work that didnt need to be done. They never even looked at the belts and charged me $30 for a lie.Do not recommend.

Jeff Walters helped me out and was very professional and honest in helping me decide about my oil change and new wiper blades. Would 100% recommend coming here for honest service worry free about being over sold.

The price is too high and the customer service wasnt good. I have to go back two times after the first time for the same problem and the guy that fixed it never gave me any update about my car and never told me anything after he fixed it just told me to take it and go.

The staff was down to business. I dropped off some rotors to be resurfaced, and they had them ready in an hour. I installed them and have since put several hundred miles on the car, and so far they are working smoothly. I would recommend Midas

Highly recommend! Service manager Jorge was very helpful and kind. Delighted to be able to leave my car and be dropped off for simultaneous appointments, then return when work complete. Very customer friendly. Mechanic even replaced my car registration sticker. (Clean and tidy waiting room and restroom too.)

Took my car in for an oil change about a little over a week ago and yesterday the oil light came on, then the engine and it started making weird sputtering noises it stopped running on me before I even was able to pull it over. It wouldn’t even start after that. I called a tow truck company. The guy checks it. Asks about other lights and we say the oil and engine light came on. He checks it AND THERE IS NO OIL IN THE CAR. It’s Sunday so I have to wait for Midas to be open on Monday.Call another tow and get to Midas on Monday. They took my car right In And unscrewed the bottom and even had me in the garage to watchAnd there was no drain plug!!!! The guy took complete responsibility and they said they will even take responsibility for a new engine if that’s needed.Turns out I need a new engine and they are taking care of it completely.Bummed to have to go through all of this after just needing an oil change and being carless for a week. Happy they took responsibility though!!

The oil change was quick (less than an hour) with no appt. and a lot cheaper than I would have paid at the dealership. The oil change included tire rotation which some other oil change places charge extra for or don’t even provide.

We had such an amazing experience! Jorge and his team took very good care of us and our vehicle when we were in town visiting family and the car decided to start making a funny noise on New Years Eve Day! They were truly booked but still managed to squeeze us in and make sure our car was safe for our long drive home to Oregon with two kiddos. I will never forget their kindness and honesty! This place is amazing! My car was having the oddest problem but they went over and beyond to help me get back on the road. Jorge was especially kind and very helpful but everyone that I met there was great and knew their stuff. They are all honest and are not going to jack up the price of your problem to make an extra buck. They genuinely want to help people and get you safely on the road. Anytime one off my cars has a problem I am going back here!

All I can say is thank you guys! I called Tuesday after work to see if I can schedule an appointment for my breaks. “I hear a little sound when I press my breaks” really meant I can hear the metal rip and grind BADLY. But the guys were amazing hooked me up with an appointment the next day. They offered me a shuttle service back to my job and were so straight forward about the extent of the damaged caused. The rotors and break pads were done and he explained EVERYTHING before he did it. He gave me options and recommendations. Even suggested what I should do next to avoid large service repairs. It is difficult finding people or companies that are trustworthy in todays time. Midas has, in my opinion, been above board with me every time I have taken my vehicle in for service. They have advised me on things about my vehicle that I would need in the future, so my vehicle will be in good operating condition. I dont feel like I have been taken advantage of when going Midas, and that is a relief because there are too many other things to worry about. Went above and beyond to completely repair my air conditioning system when other shops could not finish the job on my 1997 Chevy Silverado. Very reasonable cost. Pleasant and friendly experience. I will go to them again for any air conditioning repair.

Prior experiences elsewhere have left me distrustful of auto repair shops. The online reviews of our local Midas shop, and specific mentions of the personnel handling the service writing and repairs, helped me decide to choose as local a shop as I could. (Theyre literally around the corner and down the street.) They were thorough, communicative, friendly and, best of all, they did what work needed done, and no more...even when they could easily have padded their time in several ways. Of course, the fact that they got my problems solved at a far lower price than I anticipated...well, thats very nice, too.

First time I’ve been to Midas for an oil change and tire rotation and I will definitely go back. I got to my appt in the morning 20 mins early and they took my car in right away. I thought I would have to be waiting for over an hour like at other places I was out of there in 45mins. They have good prices on oil changes.

I’ve used Midas for a few years for my oil changes rather than utilizing my dealer. They’ve always done quite a thorough job-changing oil, rotating tires, checking lights and wipers, etc.It’s quiet enough and clean enough to be able to sit and read while waiting. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately serviced.Jorge is the gem of customer service at the John Street, Salinas location.I will definitely return to my 20,000 mile checkup.

Recap: Do not take your vehicles to the Seaside Midas, I went into Seaside Midas for my front brakes, I knew they needed replacing, and now I need a new car, second time this happen from this location, they ruined my Honda Accord.Each time I went in for one simple maintenance, and it comes out inner transmission problem when in fact I had no problems prior!

They took they took 2 hours for a supposedly 1 hour oil change they got my seat cushion dirty with oil because they dont cover their and protect their clothes when they enter a persons car they definitely do not wear gloves either my white car had greasy fingerprints all over the hood n interior

My wife and I took our car with 100k miles in here. We fully expected that we’d have replace our brake pads and perhaps have to turn our rotors.They looked over the car and told us that we had plenty of pad left and the brakes were working great. They sanded them down and put them back on.Jorge and the crew took good care of us. They dropped us off and picked us up. I believe they could have sold us a brake service package, but did not.I’ll be back.

These boys get stuff done. I was on a road trip with some friends and we had to get our rear break pads, Rear rotters and a one new caliber done. They got it all done in less than an hour. I dont get the bad reviews nothing but the best service from these lads. Im assuming people are just mad about spending a lot of money when the mechanics just want your car to be in tip top shape. Thanks again guys! Not to mention the burritos across the street were delicious.

Worst service ever and the first time they dripped my tank while my truck was on the lift all the way to the cement floor FULL trying to lift it down with 1 person and 1 goober. Then the goober straddled tank surrounded by gasoline trying to fix float he broke. They broke my float and didnt think I had the right to be upset they would not lower tank when my fuel gage did not register afterwards instead wanted another fee to check it out on monitor I had to get really irate before owner said OK we will do that for free. Then another time I bright it to them on a tow truck they told me to bring it down then made all different kinds of excuses while tow truck driver was getting mad. And didnt service at all turned us away. Used up my AAA tow as well for nothing seriously they should be reported to automotive repair board. I am and if you have problems you should too.
