I had scheduled a consultation with Cameron about 3 months in advance. I’ve had this idea of a colored full sleeve for 5 years, Cameron told me my ideas would not work as a colored tattoo so we started going towards a black and grey. His deposit is only 100$ and i put down $300 that i had been saving for the tattoo. I was told the tat would be 120 per hour at 4-5 sessions(Full Sleeve) He ended up throwing an idea together on his tablet that i didn’t vibe with so i gave more ideas. His second idea still was just very basic and plain, something i could’ve thrown together in 10 minutes. He ended up getting frustrated with me that i didn’t like his design but it was nothing close to what i was wanting. He then said he could give half my deposit back and i could go somewhere else and gives me a 50$ bill. I reminded him i dropped 300$ for a deposit so he gave me 150$ back. This means Cameron took 150$ for throwing 2 designs together on his tablet which he said doesn’t take long at all. I then emailed him more specific details of the tattoo i want and have been ignored. This was an extremely horrible second tattoo experience. Cameron obviously just does cartoon tattoos and can’t think beyond his tablets predetermined designs and patterns. Will never recommend this place.

Had an amazing experience with Steve today! This was my first tattoo ever, plus I was a walk in. Steve was so nice and did exactly what I had imagined! Hes a hoot and Id love to work with him again. Thanks for helping start my tattoo fetish!

My friend and I were visiting from out of state and dropped into Big Deluxe Tattoo for a tattoo and piercing. The front desk was very welcoming. My tattoo artist was Sam. Let me just say… Sam is AMAZING. Killer personality and very helpful. I am so happy with his work! I would fly back here just to get another tattoo from him. Sam made a memorable experience even more memorable.

I’ve received 2 tattoos from different artists (Konrad and Jordan) and they’re by far my favorite tattoos. Konrad created a custom half sleeve for me and Jordan was a walk-in. Each experience went above and beyond with the stenciling process and they both ensured i was comfortable and happy. Both artists were patient, supportive, and easy to work with and my tattoos have no blow outs or scarification. All of the artists here seem to be incredibly close and are friendly as all hell. I definitely trust this shop more than I trust most people.

My FAVORITE shop. I got my nose pierced here a few years ago and have gotten 2 of my tattoos done by Travis. I went in 2018 to get my first bigger tattoo and I was extremely nervous. Travis was so nice and welcoming. He told me I could take as many breaks as I wanted to made me feel comfortable. I went back last year in July and got another big tattoo on my arm. Nervous as can be and almost passing out, Travis laid me down, gave me water and let me take a break. I will definitely be going back when I save up for my next tattoo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Collier did an amazing job on my tattoo, I got a centipede done by him. He was really professional about editing aspects I wanted done differently. We got the stencil on first try and he got started. He was quick and efficient with his time, and we were done within 3 hours.

I had heard of Big Deluxe but had never actually been there before. I decided to give it a shot.As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a What can we do for you today? This was surprising given that a majority of the tattoo shops Ive been to normally greet you with something such as Do you have an appointment? Their greeting made me feel like I already had a spot in their shop; they cared about my visit regardless of why I was there. I was very impressed.I let them know I was looking for a walk-in tattoo. I know that these sometimes have a negative stigma because the question can be so redundant, but they took to time to hear me out and see what I was looking to get. I really appreciated the patience on their end.They told me to hang tight and immediately started looking for any available artist who would be willing to take me. They said that an artist would be available in about an hour, which is a pretty good wait time given that I hadnt made an appointment.When I came back, they got me started on the paperwork. They informed me on what exactly I was signing for. They also stated the risks and health hazards (allergic reactions and such) directly to make sure my visit with them was safe. They really try to prioritize the health of their clients.My artist was Jax Miner. He was extremely professional and made very good conversation. He was also PATIENT with me. As someone who has a hard time saying no when I dont like something, he made me feel like I was able to speak my mind about what I was looking for. He gave proper criticism when necessary (such as proper placement and orientation) and was very flexible with the artistry.My tattoo came out even better than I wouldve expected. I am thoroughly impressed with this business and I plan on coming back in the near future.Thank you Jax and the rest of the team for making my experience memorable. You guys are amazing.

A man named Kurtis, who I cant find on the website, pierced me yesterday, and it was the best tattoo/piercing experience Ive ever had. He was quick, kind, and considerate of pronouns. He had two of us in and out in 15 minutes (septum and double ear piercing). I cannot recommend him more.

Curtis was AWESOME!!! I have a artist that I have gone to for years for all my piercings, however Sat when he did my Daith i had a bad reaction. He however went out of town so I could not go see him. I came into the shop to have it removed and Curtis was great, didnt make me feel bad that I did not get done there and gave me advice for future piercings. I will be going here for my next one. (not that I dont like mine, he has said himself he does more tattoos anymore.) THANKS CURTIS!!!!

I do not recommend getting any piercings done here. My septum was crooked and my Medusa piercing was done incorrectly making the jewelry face upward toward my nose rather than out so the jewelry cannot be seen. The post used for the piercing was excessively long (I understand swelling happens after oral piercings but this one was super long and felt like it stood a foot out of my lip). The workers were rude and unprofessional, I felt very uncomfortable asking questions regarding my piercings because they acted very annoyed and put out.

Amazing place with an incredibly talented and friendly staff. I could literally never go to another shop after going to this one. 10/10 recommend. Big shout out to my guy brighton

Went here on a Saturday to get my ears pierced and only waited 10-15 minutes. The people working the front desk seemed semi annoyed and weren’t super friendly that day but Jesse who did my piercings was great and I’ll definitely go back to him for more!

Me and my boyfriend got a septum piercing, we were walk-ins, and our piercer was Curtis. He was gentle and quick, and it didn’t hurt at all we were quite nervous and scared but he reassured us that everything was okay. He did an amazing job we love our piercings.

I’ve been to Deluxe for all of my tattoos and every time they took great care of me and did amazing work. I recently went in and had small lettering done that was about 3 inches super simple and took less than an hour to do. I was charged $150 wish I felt was allot compared to what I’ve received in the past. I’ve usually paid no more than $95.00 on very small simple design tattoos. They charge $75 for base studio charge which is a steal! But was pretty upset when I left to find that I would pay double for something simple that took 30 min at most.

Very entertaining, and helpful really had fun talking to them. Brighton has alot of ideas and interesting concepts. Jordan has such a good sense of humor and is so prepared.

My artist was Randal. He did really great and was super chill and nice.

Buddha has done some great work for me time and time again. Get your ink scheduled and let them take care of you!

This is my second spur-of-the-moment walk-in to big Deluxe and each time was welcomed with a friendly hello and had a short wait period. Both times I got Buddha who is a great artist and very easy to chat it up with. Asked to make sure that youre taken care of and okay frequently, and we spent the time doing the tattoo with him agreeing to help me draw something out for the sleeves I want. My dad gets tattoos from another employee there, they all seem really awesome! Is definitely a little pricey, but with work well done its more than worth it.

My girlfriend and I both got tattooed here recently and have follow-ups for color and shading. Billy did mine and Konrad did my girls. Both artists were knowledgeable and did fantastic work! I’ve been getting tattoos at Big Deluxe for over 15 years. I had both of my half sleeves done there and the artists make you feel comfortable and I loved designing my pieces with the artists. As a woman, they always made me feel right at home and that my ideas were welcomed by the artist. Every time I’ve gone in since, all of the artists ask me about my art, even though they are now at least 5 years old. Piercing is also done very professionally! Last summer, I had Curtis pierce my friend who was visiting in town. He was very professional and did an excellent job. He walked her through the needed for after care. When we left my friend said she was relieved and excited for her new piercings and was glad we specifically went there and had Curtis do the work. To this day, she tells me how much she loves her piercings and wants to come back for more work! There’s some great artists working here! These guys (and ladies) are amazing and I couldn’t recommend a better place to feel welcomed, supported, and most of all, the level of professionalism is top notch. I’m scheduling my next piece now and know I’ll be in a safe and friendly environment. Love this shop!

I have been going to Big Deluxe just about every month for the last 6 years. I have been to many tattoo shop’s but by far this one has the best customer service of them all. In the past when I walked into other tattoo shops I felt I was judged for my lack of tattoos(would not be a problem now 6 years later). This was not the case at Big Deluxe. I made a consultation with one of their best artists. When I met with him he was amazing. Very charismatic, respectful, and wanted to make sure i got the tattoo I wanted. We bounced ideas off each other and I have never looked back. I would never go anywhere else!

Gettin tattooed by Brighton was the best tattoo experience I have ever had!!! I was just a walk in yet he paid immense attention to detail, was a comforting and enjoyable conversationalist, and had so much passion for his work - I cant even imagine a better experience than with him. He took so much time to make my tattoo perfect not just for me but because he cared about his work and his career, I would sincerely recommend him to every person I could. He wasnt restricted by the style I wanted not being in his usual comfort zone, he embraced the challenge and truly became a friend during the experience. Hes my go to guy from now on. 10/10.

I have been to Big Deluxe for piercings and tattoos and they are awesome!! Jesse did my piercings and everything is sanitized and sterile. He answered all questions and concerns I had as well as gave me advice on how to care for my piercings why they heal and things to watch for, I was advised to come back in at anytime if the piercing was showing signs of any problems. Billy Sherman did my tattoo and I love it, couldnt ask for a better tattoo! Ive had a tattoo completed by Travis as well and never had any issues with healing or infection with my tattoos or piercings.. I highly reccomend this piercimg and tattoo shop and will never go anywhere else, but to Big Deluxe. I trust this shop and love the clean, fun and friendly environment there.

Brighton Page has done several of my tattoos thus far- and will be doing several more in the near future. He, himself, is an amazing artist with a fantastic skillset and a great attitude. The whole Big Deluxe crew has been extremely professional in my experience. Theyre very transparent about expectations, timeframe, pricing, etc. A tattoo is an experience that should be relatively question-free by the time the artists needle touches your skin - and they have ALWAYS done a good job of leaving no stone unturned and assuaging any doubts that I may have had.I have over 30 pieces. A majority of which have been done in and around the Salt Lake Valley. I can truly say that my favorite pieces, as well as my best experiences, have come via Big Deluxe. Brighton Page, specifically.

Came here for a walk in piercing and to have someone look at an issue I had with a previous piercing from another shop. I had such a great experience! My piercing from Curtis is really great and went very smoothly. He also helped me out with my other piercing and explained everything very clearly. Really appreciate his help!
