Great store if you can stand to dig through the baskets and boxes on the floor you can get some good deals.

I ordered a console from here in March and have never had so much difficulty getting a piece of furniture in my life. Initially, they said it was going to be a few weeks before I could pick it up from the warehouse. A few weeks turned into almost 7 months. I called no less than 10 times during that time, talked to many people who could not solve my problem. I was overjoyed a few weeks ago to get a call that it was finally in stock. They said they would ship it to me, free of charge because of my troubles, and then didnt. And when I called again, they said to come and pick it up. I had a friend pick it up and bring it today from Salt Lake to Ogden, and when we opened up the box, it was the wrong console! I cant even fathom the incompetence at every turn. Im so disappointed.

Overpriced as heck. The clothes are okay but definitely have an older vibe. Feels like a store for rich/upper middle class Valley moms. But 200$ for a casual day-dress or 150$ for a purse, 50$ for a scarf, etc is kind of a rip off in my opinion.

Placed online order to Sundance Catalog on 5/17/2021.Wrong item received 5/20/2021.Emailed Sundance customer service 5/20/21 with order confirmation and photo of wrong item received, requesting corrective action by Sundance.As the error was entirely on the part of Sundance I expected Sundance to correct it (as other online merchants do).Sundance responded by email that I would have to: return the wrong item, complete the return information packing slip asking for exchange to original item ordered, include payment information for original item ordered plus shipping. Refund would be issued for wrong item once return received.I emailed the return information packing slip (photos) completed with wrong and original items but declined to pay for original item and shipping costs as the error was entirely Sundances error.As of 6/2/2021, there was no response from Sundance, nor receipt of original item ordered.My email of 6/2/2021 was met by Sundance with directive by email to return wrong item, then they would take action.To say that Sundance is not trustworthy, nor competent, is an understatement. They make an error but want customer to be accountable. They provide no customer service and take no responsibility for their errors.Very BAD merchant!

After having a misunderstanding around an attempted return, the store manager, Cindy, reached out and asked me to call. Upon my calling, Cindy took the time to step off the floor and into her office, and kindly chatted with me for nearly 15 minutes. Considering how busy Im sure she is, this gesture alone made it clear how important the customer is to her and her staff as individual people, not just dollar signs. She made me feel very comfortable that I was being heard, and that my time and choice to shop there is valued, as well as taking care of my concern regarding the original return issue. Im happy this was resolved so well because I had actually purchased my wifes wedding band from Sundance earlier this summer, as its her favorite store, so it feels good to be able to keep that warm place in my heart for them. I live 11 hours away and I was very excited to be visiting your store. The greeter was so very nice and the store was stocked with beautiful discounted items and that’s the positive. No one asked me if I needed help even as I looked at the jewelry counter. Other women were getting asked if they needed help all around me. I thanked the greater for being so kind and left, won’t be going back.

The RUDEST employees EVER. Unless you look like a 60 or older woman, visiting from the Hamptons or Deer Valley with an even older husband thats holding your purse for you, dont expect to be acknowledged by any one of the employees.

I found a shirt there I was thinking about purchasing. I needed to first try the shirt on. I was told all 5-6 dressing rooms were closed. I walked out without a purchase. Their customer service was poor and I especially felt unwelcome by staff being a man in this store. They ride on the coat tails of the legit Sundance Resort name with no relation to it.

Super unimpressed with the pricing system at the Sundance Catalog Outlet Store. Do not expect fairness or consistency. I went to the back room and found three of the exact same items... exact! Same damage and same condition. Two of the items were priced the same and the third item, I was told, was newer (no date and no way to tell from the tag as it looked identical to the other two items) and twice as much. This explanation may work for my five year old but not for me. I was sent home wihout a decent explanation or resolve. This store is poortly managed and should be reported to consumer affairs for acting in an unethical manner to their customers. There is an obvious need to mainstream their pricing and presentation to the consumer with fairness and consistency.

Its an awesome store. Lots of merchandise. I spent way too much money but, save a lot of money vs regular prices😉

Victim of its own success. Much harder to find real deals now. I cant imagine paying full price for anything in there. Everything is beautiful but shreds itself after 2- 5 washes. Good if you want a stunning one-time outfit for a special be event.

They made us stand outside in the 105 degree weather, full sun with the glare off the glass for 40 minutes just to get inside. Giant store only allows 10 people inside?? It was miserable, then they didnt have my size, I had to order it from the warehouse and they wouldnt honor the same price? What? Who does that? Was a miserable experience. Normally luke the store and experience COVID has made it less fun. Store could make it better.

I am lucky to live in Utah and I shop here as often as I can. No matter how busy the staff are I always find that if I need assistance they are ready and willing to help. With unique clothing, shoes, boots, jewelry and accessories for both men and women, and fabulous household decor, rugs, and furniture items, this store should be a destination for anyone visiting Salt Lake City - you wont be disappointed!

I visited the Sundance Catalog Outlet in Salt Lake City last week and it was above and beyond my expectations. I described it to my daughter as a legendary shopping experience that we will be talking about for the rest of our lives! We decided to shop on our way to the airport and I am so glad we did, because after 3 1/2 hours of dressing room fun, we had to rush out to ship things home at FedEx and were seriously concerned we might miss our flights. We visit SLC at least 4 to 6 times a year and from now on, we will be scheduling time for the outlet. I actually live across the parking lot from a Sundance Retail Store and they never put anything on sale and we all know that if you want something, you dont wait. You need to get it now! Since there are no sales, theres no point in waiting and they regularly pull merchandise to send to the outlet. I actually had seen a beautiful lace kimono I thought about for a few days, and when I went back to the store, they said they had shipped it out. Sure enough, I found the lace kimono at the outlet and it was almost 50% off. The outlet had unbelievable deals and merchandise I had not seen before at my local retail store. Amazing experience. Be sure to allow enough time to really shop and keep in mind that theres a UPS less than a block away and a FedEx about two blocks away. On the down side, you can only take 5 things into your dressing room at a time and the sales clerks arent that helpful. If they helped run for sizes and let you take in more than 5 items, it would go so much faster and I believe they would sell so much more. No matter what...its an extraordinary store and I strongly recommend that you block off a few hours on your next visit to SLC!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAD PRODUCT QUALITY: Poor quality product that doesnt last, with employees not backing their faulty products.I’m normally a huge Sundance lover. If I could decorate my whole house and closet with it I would. Until now...I’ve spent a lot there this summer, and the other night a bag (MY FAVORITE BAG) I bought maybe two months ago broke. They still have the bag which I paid like $200 for now discounted heavily. I nicely asked if they could please swap it out for a replacement as I was super bummed, and I thought it was a product quality issue. I don’t use the bag heavily or fill it with bricks or anything.The lady that worked there very rudely and unapologetically told me it should have been within 30 days to return it. This was not a return as it didnt break within the 30 day mark - I never wanted to bring the bag back as I love it. I don’t get pissed easily but this was a huge disappointment. They could have easily made it right simply by at least being nice about it at minimum. I did expect a replacement, and didnt get it. I think this bummer experience may deter me from coming back unfortunately. I only pay that kind of money for product that a company can stand behind. Not impressed. Don’t expect their bags to last you, and don’t expect any kind of kindness or replacements.

They have beautiful jewelry (specifically rings), and I’m always eager to shop their winter sale when I’m home here for the holidays. However, when I went in today, I almost had to beg for the woman sitting at the jewelry counter (unoccupied) to help us with some sizes. The entire time I was holding the ring and trying it on, I felt a very suspicious stare. I finally gave it back to her while I finished browsing, and she put it away almost immediately - forcing me to ask her to get it back out for me to purchase. When I tried to buy it with a one hundred dollar bill, I was given attitude about her having to come up with $50 in change. I understand that a 25 year old might be a little younger than the average clientele, but I am an adult who frequently buys rings of this quality and felt very disrespected. There are enough nice jewelry stores around that I do not feel the need to come back here.

Very nice staff, helpful even though we showed up 8 min before close. Another lady showed up 1 minute before close needing to do return and the staff was more than happy to help her. Not the kind of service I experience most places. Very refreshing!

Great stuff, but I was totally profiled. A woman went out of her way several times to check up on me and make sure I wasnt alone too long.. The store was busy because of a big sale, and this still kept happening. She ended up helping me (sort of) by at the end of my shopping experience and was standoffish and a little rude.. Once again great stuff, but if youre not their typical middle-aged, white, female customer, youre going to stand out and theyre not going to be subtle.

Had a very bad experience. Bought three stools, needed one more. Came by right before closing and quickly bought one. It was defective. Called the next morning and asked if I could come in and exchange for another one. They said okay, but they are going fast. I asked if I could have them hold one and I would be there in a couple of hours. They said, no, we dont do that, it upsets people. When I arrived a couple hours later, I found they were all sold out, AND they were holding two in the back. I said could I take one of those? Oh no, they said, we are holding those. I said, Really? I was told I couldnt do that. The clerk told me they were being held for an employee!!!!! Give me a break. Apparently, the customer DOESNT come first in this store. The employee is obviously more important than the customer. Ive been going to this store for years and have spent a great deal of money there. They just lost a customer.

The entire staff was incredible. I am not sure what happened with the other reviews. We were visiting from out of town and walked in 10 minutes before closing. We walked out 40 minutes later with everyone accommodating and very friendly! I would definitely recommend!

I hesitate to tell you about this place b/c you might wear my size and get something that I want! They have some as-is items which are damaged or returns(used) from the catalog; they are always marked as such. Often the items are discounted more heavily in the store than they are online although sometimes the opposite is true. It is generally helpful to try on in the store then compare price and order your size online if needed. I have learned that the multiple designers RR utilizes produce a myriad of size variations and it is quite common to have my routine size too small or too large. Shipping via the catalog is expensive so the store with the dressing rooms is ideal. I love the jewelry items. Years ago during the November sale I impulse purchased a pair of tumbled ruby earrings in 14 kt twisted together to look almost like a raspberry. These earrings are still my favorite years later. I have never had a single issue with staff members or any returns of merchandise; and you can expect the store to be busy if a sale is going on.

Terrible customer service. Beware that if you shop at the outlet store online, you will not be able to return things to the outlet store. If you live close locally, they will NOT do exchanges or refunds (even thought their customer service hotline says they will). You will have to pay to ship things back in order to get a refund or to exchange. And they do not make it easy.

If you like the Sundance catalog, this is the place to go. We just happened to be driving through Salt Lake City and decided to stop. Wahoo! Scored some great boots for my husband and myself as well as a couple other things. Very nice and helpful employees too!

I came to the store approximately an hour before closing time. I try to return my items and we got to that point when two assistant managers got into a big confusion between items and checks. While they were talking to me while trying to match my items to my checks, they are very rude and impatient, they make me feel uncomfortable and helpless. Then I got that feeling that I was discriminated and disappointed with assistant managers who work there, after when everything got cleared up they were apologizing to me and finally solved my problem. That same evening the store had a special sale, everything 30% off, then I asked the assistant manager if there would be a 30% off on everything tomorrow and she said yes it would. So I thought Im going to come back tomorrow, and I asked her again to make sure that I understand right about 30% off sales tomorrow, and she said yes there would be a 30% off on everything. So the next day, I stop by to purchase another item and the assistant manager told me that not everything 30% off today, that mean what she told me yesterday was a lie. So I was shocked, that assistant managers dont know how to give the proper information to their customers about sale....? So, Im very disappointed with the time I spent in a store. I would recommend to my friends to visit that store, but be very careful when you try to purchase an item or try to return them.....?

I was looking forward to this store but was very disappointed. The clerks were busy putting clothing on the racks or cataloging jewelry that was in plastic bags. Merchandise was marked down but not significantly enough to make a purchase. I did look for shoes but my size was not available. Disappointed. Will not come back.

I am not a person to leave reviews online, but I have to vent my not-so-good experience with the Sundance online store. I ordered a stacking ring set for my sisters birthday, and after one day of wear one of the pearls fell out. Ok. Not so pleased, but I spoke with customer service and they were sincerely sorry and offered a refund and free return shipping. Great. However, it took 3 emails and 2 phone calls to get said free return shipping label to me. I send the aforementioned item back and wait. And wait. Anddddddd wait. 2 weeks later I call and the pleasant woman on the end of the phone said that the item was still in transit (apparently via carrier pigeon). I requested a refund to my card and she assured me that she would forward my info to the senior manager for approval and they would contact me. 48 hours later, still no phone call. Tonight I spoke with another pleasant person in their call center and he said he could help me right away..... Well see. Ill update if I ever get my money back.Bottom line:Poor product.Very nice customer service people with no follow through.Buyer Beware.

A beautiful, yet crowded (merch, not people) store in hipster Sugarhouse. Its a bit overwhelming to shop here with so many options on the racks. It almost looks like a consignment store, due to the variety. However, the beautiful and expensive items they sell fit the Sundance brand perfectly. Along with the high ticket items, its easy to find discounted, or otherwise lower priced items. Im just a regular dude, and Im usually able to find my wife a very nice gift here. For example, I found boots for $400, and also some boots for $49.The people working there were very friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to.

If youre a local you probably know about the Sundance Store. If youre not familiar with the store it will come as no surprise it is part of the Robert Redford Sundance collection of businesses. These include Sundance resort Sundance film festival and many others. Sundance catalog store sells merchandise that fits the southwestern Redfort style which noth reflects this regiona stulel and expands on it. If youre reading this review prior to January 3rd their 40% off sale is still in progress. The store includes mens and womens clothing jewelry housewares and more. There are many unique items in the store. It is a lot of fun to window-shop as well as purchase items.

This place was heaven! The prices get better the deeper you go into the store. Theres a back room clearance area where I scored pieces at 90% off!

Always have great sales, with a backroom that is always stocked with deep discounts. Nice diversity of women and mens clothing, home decor, and jewelry.

If you like the sundance catalog than this is a great hunting ground. There is always some department on sale throughout the year so if youre patient you can score quite the deal.

Sometimes they have some cool stuff but even on sale its ridiculously overpriced for damage goods. And the sales staff always act stuck up.
