Anyway, the shop is super cute and it was clean and well kept. Menu looked like it had a lot of options, but I only had eyes for the Rocky Mountain rolled ice cream. The lady who took our order was super sweet.We were there around 7pm on a Wednesday in October and there was no wait at all!

We came because we had heard such amazing things about rolled ice cream. This place is amazing! The process is fascinating for little kids and adults alike to watch! We will definitely be back!

An excellent variety of tea, fruit drinks and ice cream.The worst part is the wait, the place gets really busy so youll spend minimum 15 to 20 minutes waiting most likely, but the drinks and ice cream are definitely worth it.Drinks are roughly $5 + each, and ice cream I believe starts around $7 and gets more expensive the more you add. Similar to Coldstone, but more expensive than buying ice cream from the store.It makes for a fun stop on a date night!The place is small though, so if its busy youll need to take your items to go as there is not enough seating.

Super good, I got rolled ice cream a day prior to this and it was amazing. The shop is small but snug and it’s a little cold (Probably because of the ice cream.) I got a coffee base with oreo mix-in and it was a banger. The workers are really nice and I definitely enjoyed. The place is perfect for dates or just a sweet treat. Great place for people with a sweet tooth. This time I got taro boba tea with extra boba. Tasted great, almost coconuty in a way. It was cold and creamy while the boba was warm, perfect contrast. Next time I’ll go I’ll definitely try another menu item. 10/10!

Who doesnt like a delicious Ice cream. They have a wonderful variety to choose from all delicious and creamy. Many toppings to mix in or just top your wonderful dessert. Great place to go hangout with friends. Prices are very decent any penny is worth it.

We had the Kiwi bubble tea with boba and rocky road rolled ice cream. Both were very good.

Ice cream is fantastic... but it has a bad smell .. like old carpets and stall air. It was so strong that it kinda of was a turn off to eat inside The customer service was excellent

Very unique place with delicious ice cream. I think we had the Paradise bowl, and it was really good (messy, though, since the ice cream kind of flakes/crumbles off). $6 for a bowl is kind of pricey, but it was surprisingly filling. If Im ever in the area again looking for ice cream, Ill definitely come back here.

I am so glad I was introduced to this place by a family member! Ive had rolled ice cream on e before but it was out of state. I had no idea there was an option closer to my home. Our group tried 3 drinks and 3 ice creams. For myself, I ordered the mint base with andes mints as a mix-in and topped with chocolate chips (which was delicious). I particularly enjoyed the taro boba. Next time Im planning on trying the honeydew ice cream topped with mochi!

Wonderful place. The lady who helped me in the evening was super sweet and the ice cream was great. So many toppings and flavors. And they have boba and other treats too.

Having things is toppings means that halfway through your ice cream, you are missing half the flavor. Didnt really get a whole lot of fruit in the ice cream and the flavor of the ice cream wasnt worth the trip there over Cold Stone.

My roommate and I came here on a whim! We literally passed it, and then flipped a U-Turn because it sounded good and dang we weren’t disappointed.Although we ate the rolled ice cream before getting a picture of it, but he got more of a dessert-y flavor (rocky road and peanut butter) and mine was less so (fruit fruit and more fruit!)The woman was super nice and it was delicious, the drinks pictured were super good too! Everything was quick and worth it.Definitely going to be coming back here! Woot woot!

I absolutely love this place! It is so cute and I’ve been coming for a while now. When I first went they had graffiti on the walls and it’s obvious to me that they really care about this place. The staff is so kind always. I love everything I’ve tried on the menu! The rolled ice cream is delicious! The smoothies are yummy! The tea is good! I love how easily customizable everything is!! This is a spot that I bring all my friends and family when I get the chance 🖤

I would’ve given a 1 star but I didn’t get to try the ice cream so I didn’t feel like I could rate it for the ice cream. I did get a bubble tea though and it was the worst bubble I’ve ever had. The tea was warm and had a strange texture that I don’t get with other bubble teas. And the pearls were so stuck together that I could hardly drink anything. Not that I wanted to after getting a third of the way through the drink because it was not good but it was frustrating and bubble tea should be a happy experience! I’d be down to try the ice cream because it looked good but I won’t be returning for the tea.

Presentation will only get you so far in life, you gotta have some depth and texture. The same goes for ice cream. Koi D Bar has it all, amazing visually tasty Rolled ice cream and depth of flavor to tantalize even the pickiest of ice cream eaters (that’s a thing, just ask my wife!) So glad I found this little place. Very friendly family owned ice cream shop similar to Subzero that took over the J Bar 4 months before writing this. If you like very cold hard ice cream this is the place for you, and if that’s not your jam; it will be. I haven’t tried the boba yet, but can’t wait to try it.

Menu has plenty of options to choose from. I do wish there was an option for Green Tea or Black Tea. Was pretty surprised to find out there wasn’t. Otherwise it’s just sugary beverages that look fun.

I had the coconut ice cream with Mango and strawberries. Topped with gummy bears. Really yummy. But the space in this store is cramped and seating is extremely limited.

Stopped in looking for a refreshing break on a Thursday afternoon. Rolled ice cream is a unique presentation. The ice cream was delicious and the staff very friendly. They even have parking beside the building which is a plus.

It’s really fun watching them mix the ice cream with your ingredients, and then roll them. The ice cream is very tasty, but what I actually like is the bubble teas (boba drinks), and cosmic drinks. If you don’t know, a boba drink has tapioca balls in a blended drink, and so as you drink you can also chew on those balls. A cosmic tea is different flavors of drink that they layer, so you see the different colors and then you mix it all up. It is a very tasty drink.

Truly amazing!!I am a boba freak! A freak to the point that Im totally obsessed! So, a statement such such as; Koi Ds rolled ice cream is better than any boba Ive ever had, is a monumental statement for me to make! Their boabs are beautiful! They reside somewhere along my top 3. But their rolled ice cream dominates!!I typically get a smoothie boba. When most of the drink is gone, I find that it gets pretty icy and watery. You dont get that with ice cream, which is why I believe that it is better. The flavor of the ice cream is much more lavish, velvety, and condensed! God I just love it! I also love the sheer number of flavors and toppings Koi D offers! My favorite toppings include coconut flakes, regular pearls, and mochi. The mochi is absolutely heavenly and goes so good with tapioca pearls. They serve the pearls warm, and I love the contrast of warm and cold with the ice cream! I am a huge fan of this place, and Ill be a customer for as long as I live. haha

We came in and even though they had already closed before we realized, they still stayed open and made all five of us boba drinks. They were so kind to us and even gave us the extra ice cream they had left. Love coming here, will always come back. :)

This is an amazing dessert place in Salt Lake City, Utah. The boba drinks are very tasty and there is a large variety of rolled ice cream that you can order. They also make the rolled ice cream in front of you and then serve it to you. The portions of rolled ice cream are also very large and you get a lot of ice cream for the amount you pay.

My kids loved the ice cream. My husband loved the Thai tea boba drink he got. The staff was friendly. There menu has a lot of options to chose from.

I’ve been here like 4 times, always a good experience with the drinks. I’m giving 4 starts because of the service, specifically communication sometimes the music is loud and you can’t understand and they cant understand.

This has quickly become my go to boba place. not once have i been disappointed by what i ordered. service can be a little rough during the more busy hours because they seem to be understaffed often, but in my opinion it’s well worth the wait. as for the ice cream, i’m not sure because i have not tried, but the drinks are phenomenal.

A fantastic little ice-cream place... You get to choose flavors like Choc-mint, Peanut butter, coconut and a variety of fruits which are mixed, chopped and rolled! An absolute treat/cheat!

I was definitely underwhelmed with my experience here. First I should mention the smell. I don’t know if they are cleaning with an ammonia based product, or if the smell was due to poor bathroom etiquette by some riff-raff coming in off State, buuuuttt… it stinks like pee. Granted, I do have a hyper sensitive nose, but this is not an appealing scent for any food establishment.This was our first visit and I got a boba for me and an ice cream bowl for my son. I will say, my son did enjoy his, which I why I am allowing 2-stars. Mine, not so much. I come from a blended Asian family and have had boba many, many times. The flavor selection was more limited than other places, but I found one that sounded good. They do have the option for almond milk, which I did. The drink came out warm, with only a few ice slivers floating on top. I could forgive them not using a ton of ice, but was the almond milk not refrigerated?I don’t know what kind of almond milk they use but it was overpowering and gross. It tasted malted? I could not detect the flavor of the drink itself thru it. The fact that it tasted gross, and the milk was warm, I couldn’t help but think maybe it was bad. I stopped drinking it about halfway. The biggest disappointment was the boba itself though. The consistency was off, stale maybe? I don’t know how to explain it other than it was like hard rubber rather than soft gummy.Sadly, within a few hours of my order, my tummy is NOT happy! I’m crossing my fingers it’s just mild distress and clears up fast. I’m at least grateful for not drinking all of it but needless to say, I can’t recommend the drinks here. If your nose can handle the ammonia smell and you want ice cream… maybe give it a shot. It seems like a nice, family establishment, but they have some quality issues to work thru first.

I like how late they are open, so its easy to grab on a date. Its quite enough to talk to a person. I would try all their favors or make your own. Its all awesome. Im definitely going again for sure. First time buying here...the girl who took our order was nice:)Other than that...we paid 14 and some change for two rolled ice creams...One was The Dream Date...honestly fairly good...i wasnt a fan of how the chocloate chips are rock hard...But my main issue came with mine..the Pine Cone Kiwi...Its a vanilla base was bland..not much flavor ....kinda tasted like the vanilla flavor at chinese restaurants....sprinkles and coconut were not anything special...pretty normal which is fine...my biggest problem came with the fact that the fruit is not fresh....i added mango as an add on...which was 1$ more...okay...NP...when i tasted it...its frozen...not fresh...maybe its fresh then frozen? Dont know...but at the end of the day i paid 1$ for frozen fruit in fairly bland vanilla ice cream...the wafers were good 🤗...other than that. ..nothing special...wont be going back

The Thai milk bubble tea was awesome but its definitely an acquired taste. Youll probably either love it or hate it. They also have boxes of Meiji (panda cookies) and Pocky sticks at the counter.

He was friendly, attentive, and patient with me and other customers regarding our last minute change requests. You can build own rolled ice cream sundae or choose along the pre-made options.
