Had quite a few more open box / scratch and dent appliances than my normal Best Buy ever does, and were running a promo -- offering mark downs on top of the mark downs! They were a bit understaffed, but I was glad I stopped in! Picked up a dryer that wasnt quite what I was looking for, but the price overcame my objections.
We recently came to this Best Buy to replace my Mother-In-Laws laptop. Ive been shopping at Best Buy for probably 20 years. Normally, when you walk into a Best Buy, youre greeted by employees who ask if you need any help. My wife and I walked past probably 6-7 employees without even being acknowledged. Most of them were staring at their mobile phones and didnt even look in our direction. The employees that werent on their phones were socializing and again didnt acknowledge us. The only assistance we received was from a woman who appeared to be an outside vendor restocking her merchandise. We eventually found what we were looking for, after searching the shelves to ensure we had the correct item. Again, while the two closest employees appeared to be deeply involved in conversation. When I did approach them to ask a question, they looked like I was inconveniencing them by interrupting their conversation. If this is the kind of service that you endorse, Ill be shopping online from now on.
Sometimes this store is on point, but for the most part the employees make a simple task very difficult and just pass the puck to the next employee. This is the reason for the 3 stars although its due more to the fact I had a good day today, lol thanks for taking the time to read my opinion have a good evening Texas!...
Best Buy is set up differently then the, Norm. With this Pandemic they have to in order to help protect their employees and their customers. The friendliness and willingness to help a customer in need is still there and still great! I only wish they had one of things I wanted in stock. Oh well, maybe next time.....
I had my fun. I enjoy looking around and finding a bunch or random stuff to look before buying said things. would recommend, theres a little bit of everything when it comes to electronics
It used to be one of my favorite stores but I got scammed two years ago with phones that I purchased they told me to add the protection plan for $200 and they never mention anything about a deductible. So I added the plan and now they are asking for another $200 for a note 9 if I would known that I would of just got insurance with Verizon. So I’m not paying another 200 for a phone that’s like 3 generations behind. So the sorry company just made $200 of me. So be careful people because these companies don’t care. And about a month ago I purchased a used laptop for about $600 and when I opened it it was all scratched from top. So be careful

Called to schedule a TV wall mount uninstall and after a combined wait time of 40 mins I was quoted $54 because my wife is a totaltech member - still got charged $108. Thanks Bestbuy.
They found the built in microwave I needed in stock in Dallas and arranged delivery 8 days later. Day of delivery no one showed up. 2 hours on customer care no answers. Went in person 31 Aug, now earliest delivery is 13 September, but they are not shipping to San Antonio until 11 September, which means that it could all happen again. Manager wouldnt speak directly to me and their is no way to call local stores anymore, you have to speak to a regional representative or physically go in person to try and get answers. Bad business model, future appliance purchases will be through Lowes or Home Depot
I always received excellent customer service from this store. Curbside pick did in a timely fashion. Return process was smooth. Enough of parking place and is located near 1604. Overall a very good experience.
Love that this one is so close by for my needs. As a photographer I can order any cards or items I need and picked them up quickly. Curbside is great but can be a little slow at peak hours but thats just part of the new ways after covid. Great store for sure. Got a new lens for a shoot quickly and cut the down time.
If you are like me and appreciate actual customer service, this isnt the store for you. Went looking for a tablet for my son, no assistance at all. Finally found something, go to counter to pay and apparently the conversation between the 2 young ladies were having about one if their mothers needing a new phone was more important than acknowledging a customer at their counter. Im not super picky, but seriously a hello and a thank you would have been appreciated.
Rob was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, funny & excited to help my fiancé and I find the perfect laptop after him guiding us in the right direction by listening to our needs we ended up with an awesome Surface pro X! If you want the best deals on electronics and appliances you simply must shop at Best Buy! They have great black Friday deals on right now. I was able to buy a 70 flat screen TV for under $500. But whether you are in the market for an appliance like refrigerator, stove, or dishwasher or a new laptop you can probably find a great deal here!
I recently went to the location at alamo ranch looking for the Mario kart live after seeing the reviews . I couldnt find it anywhere on the floor and settled for some other products . I shouldve just asked someone on the floor but know that place like the back of my hand. I was checking out and asked the girl and she said they show to have 1 in stock. The mario one and sure enough she came back in hand with it. Jurassic mario park later we agree with the reviews about this game and thanks to that girl she made my day more than my 3 yr old son.🤣
We bought a computer here. Decent selection, reasonable price. Fairly quick, in and out. When I filled out the satisfaction survey, the store manager called me to inquire about a problem I had with an employee. I thought he was a little too short with his answers to our questions. The manager asked serious questions about all of this and I believe he will coach his employee to better performance and customer service. You cant ask for much more than that.
Very nice people here my son bought a computer a Chromebook you brought it home to find out it was not compatible with his school so he took it back with no problem exchange it for a Microsoft computer instead we had no problem the people were very nice helpful and then ask no questions they were glad to help bent over backwards to help I am very pleased keep up the great work we would definitely continue to do business here thank you for everything.
Love their ice cream cones, especially the chocolate dipped ones. My friend had an ice cream sundae, and she said it was great. Fast and courteous service at the drive through.
Great customer service. We went in to get a Bluetooth speaker for our beach trip. Price was great, quickly checked out and was on our way. Sales person even took time to answer questions and get us info on a previous purchase.

Excellent service. We looked like we needed help, we’re asked and we did. Many places let you work it out on your own. Needed a solution to a 4 year old Samsung “smart tv” saying we no longer had enough internal memory. Samsungs only suggestion was to get an external memory device, asked the associate who approached us and he suggested a Roku as tellys don’t exactly have external hard drives like computers. We ended up purchasing a Roku at his suggestion. Quick check out by another professional and polite associate.
I went there specifically to get an SD card I need for a photoshoot. I checked out prices on Amazon to see if its cheaper there and it was by 10 bucks. I got it from best buy anyways since they have the price match guarantee. Service was fast at checkout. They honoured their price match guarantee.
Two kids starting college and both times they have assisted me to stay as close to my budget as possible and coming out with a happy students. Makes this single mom very happy.
Raul at the customer service desk helped me solve my issues and quickly. I ordered a replacement phone using my bestbuy plan. I received the new phone but there was not a return label included to send back the old phone. In a chat online through bestbuy website, they advised me to go to a store. Raul helped me by making the necessary phone calls and getting in touch with the right people so we can get a new return label printed. He was extremely kind and helpful and quick.
I recently had a subwoofer installed in my car. The whole experience from making the appointment to pickup was great. I am extremely happy with my new subwoofer.

The store was pretty dead when we got there and we still had to wait well over 30 minutes to get some help with an appliance order and setting up a delivery. We asked 3 separate employees if we could get some assistance and it took quite a long time for someone to actually show up to help out. Once we got the employee there, it was smooth sailing, but it wasnt super fun trying to juggle 3 kids and keep them occupied while we waited.
Other than best buy being very short staffed we were able to get what we needed and sales rep was helpful. Took a while to find someone to get some help but once we did he got right down to it and answered our questions and was knowledgeable. Have always loved best buy, just know that there will be a bit if a wait before you are helped.
The online puck up zone was excellent. No long lines and the staff were friendly.

Needed new appliance set. Did our rounds at home Depot, Lowes, Conns, Costco, and Sams. Final stop was Best Buy. We werent looking for all the techy bells and whistles since these were for a small vacation Cabin and just gauging each store on delivery dates and inventory, most items we were wanting were either back ordered or could not be delivered for a month or so. And customer service wise, often either pushed to pull the trigger or completely ignored. Not confident we would find what we were looking for we strolled in looking at all the models. Then we meet Anna. She asked us some important questions to gauge what we were looking for and purpose of appliances. She hit a home run, getting us the three items we needed, saving us some money, appropriate protection plans, and meeting our short delivery date and window. If you are ever shopping in San Antonio, go visit Anna at the Culebra/1604 location. Plus she is a hoot.
The item I was looking for was not available and I had to get a smaller item. I had to look for a sales person, staffing also needs more training.
Spent all day looks for a washer and dryer. We just happen to see best buy as we were leaving Home Depot and Best buy was $100 cheaper for each appliance and was the exact same set as Home Depot.

Unnecessarily difficult to utilize geek squad on Apple products. Have to get an appt for geek squad thru Apple simply so Apple can track product claims. Instead of putting that leg work on the customer, Apple and Best Buy should communicate those warranty claims behind the scenes, internally.
I absolutely love Best Buy but forget it if you have to return anything. How can I buy a product from the store and try to exchange it next day because of a manufacturing error and missing items in the box and they tell me they can’t do anything about it or exchange it. Absolutely ridiculous especially for an item that costs $400+.

We went to buy a phone for our daughter, nobody came to help us so we had to track someone down that clearly wasnt interested in working. We asked if a particular unlocked phone would be compatible with our network and she replied that it would work with all networks. Alas, we get home and try to add the phone to our service plan and is not compatible. We go to return it and there is a $45 restocking fee. It seems like a scam to me.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered a new washer and dryer set on the 13th. It was scheduled to be delivered and installed on the 15th. They never showed up, no call or anything. Called them every day that next week, no one could do anything because the warehouse made a mistake. Then they rescheduled my appointment for today... and again have not showed up. I cant even cancel my order because its marked in transit, so their system wont allow it. Now Ive been without a working dryer for almost 2 weeks!
I wouldnt go there unless I absolutely have to. I do not like being taken advantage of and when they sell a 75 cent adapter for 30 bucks, thats whats going on. Better off getting stuff from Amazon and saving the gas.

Our experience was terrific! Why specifically because our sales associate Tristan was the BEST! (1604@Alamo Ranch). My wife (who ultimately was the one I wanted happy) was shopping for a new laptop and had specific needs and questions on everything from speed, storage, external hard drives, the software packages, PC protection, additional USB ports and warranties. This young man patiently answered her questions and met her knowledge level while increasing her understanding. She then ended up spending an extra $450-$500 without feeling pressure of any kind. When she said she needed to step away and think, he saved her purchase on the screen with a please take your time, I will be here if you have anymore questions comment. She came back added $150 in ink cartridges after walking the store and the sale was done!! Your sales associate Tristan matched my wifes nervousness in purchasing a large ticket item with a wonderful calming, no hurry-take your time understanding. What a polite, knowledgeable and personable young man. GREAT HIRE!

A very unpleasant experience at this Best Buy location. Poor leadership skills from Mobile supervisor JR.Something that Ive never seen from any BestBuy location was refusing to assist a customer with a purchase during service hours. I was told to create an appointment for an earlier time the next day due to them getting ready to close. This is very unfortunate for people who get out of work late. I was told by the Mobile Supervisor that they do not do any purchase/activation of phones after 6PM because they close at 7PM.Even though the refusal of service was frustrating, what was worse is the comment JR made AFTER offering his assistance, If you are able to see, Im with another customer. I really hope that this feedback can be taken to further improve their customer service skills so other customers are not treated in such a rude manner.I will continue shopping with Best Buy, but at other locations, as other locations excel in great products; services; and most importantly, customer service. Hope to see change at this location in the future.
Worst customer service in the the world. They told me my package was going be here Dec 8, was late 3 days late They didn’t even care. JR ( manager) said sorry we can’t do anything about it. You can tell he didn’t even care. His Body language said another complaining customer. Best Buy lacks character, integrity to the customer. I even told JR If can have the store managers cards He said that the store manager ran out of cards. Really you could took my info so the store manager can call me back. Best Buy needs better leadership in how to improve their customer service. This starts which the General manager of the store.

Place an order around 4:30 (computer speakers), payment from my account was immediately taken. I selected the curb side pickup which according to the best buy website it will be ready in about one hour. Two and a half hours later I havent heard from best buy, no email or otherwise. I called but could not get to talk to anyone, their automated system is garbage.
They have everything I need from gaming and phones definitely recommend
The good: I was offered assistance by three associates.The not so good: There are cash registers located throughout the store. Why do I have to go stand in line at the central cash register to pay for my items?

I try never to shop at Best Buy. They are a last resort for me. The only time I shop there is if what I need is out of stock elsewhere. This last visit was just more of a reminder why I shouldnt even shop there as a last resort. We went to buy a roku because our tv (that we bought at Best Buy 3 years ago) will no longer connect to the internet. They had alot of stock on the shelves and we chose the middle of the road version. We didnt want the cheapest but we also didnt need the more expensive version. We proceed to chexkout and the item rings up at the price of the more expensive version. We tell the sales person that is a mistake and it should be cheaper. He doesnt believe us and goes to check the price for himself. He comes back and tells us that the price that its ringing up is correct. He just came back from the stand that they are located on and thats the price he sees. We proceed to tell him that we didnt know what stand he was talking about that we got it off the shelf where they were located. So my husband walks back to show the salesperson where we got it and the price. When he comes back he tells me and my husband that the item was in the wrong place and he would not be aboe to honor the price but he could call the manager and see if she could honor the price. We asked him to call the manager. When the manager comes over she agrees to honor the price but when she tries to manually put the lower price in the system wont let her. She was only able to lower the price to a certain amount. We walked out paying less than the regular price but it wasnt what we expected. This is not the first time this has happened and Im sure it wont be the last. But it is another reason not to shop there.

All the staff were either sitting around talking to there coworkers or just walking around not asking the customers for help. We sat around for 10 mins waiting for a employee to help us when we requested one. Ended up leaving because no one came to help us. A bunch of walking zombies

Confusing online info. Says Ps5 not available for online purchase for this setup, other setups just say not available. I click add to cart again and it says this item not added to cart just yet, just one more step before it can be added. No other steps were mentioned and I tried adding to the cart again and was met with the same results. I even went into the store spoke with a rep and he says they arent in stock yet. Good times. Best Buy always gets a five from me unless I drive up there due to unclear ambiguous website information. And yes I did have the same location as the store I was looking up on my phone.Better luck next time 😩I still bought some other stuff even though I was disappointed ☹️.

Very poor service but not necessarily all the staffs fault. I think understaffed for the number of people in store. Never was asked if I needed assistance. Looking for an upgrade for my truck entertainment system, upgrade for my tablet and a sound bar. Displays not well organized. Sound bars all over the place. Now that Ive seen what was visible I may come back on a weekday or confine my search on line. Best Buy may not be the best option.

The Geek Squad on the afternoon shift are amazing, very courteous, patient, and have the best customer service. Especially cruz, he stayed with my repair the entire time to straiten out the paperwork between apple and the store, and hanna As I sat there she was very helpful, calm, and pose during the entire time while she had a never-ending line
