I believe this is a new store. The store is huge, organized and the staff actually greets you when you walk inside the store. Not everyone speaks anymore when you enter an establishment. I was looking for a product and one of the polite young ladies directed me to the products I wanted to purchase. Please keep up the customer service ! I wanted the Capitol Chic items.

Michaels has been remodeled. The store is filled to the brim with all sorts of crafting accoutrement, design implements, and stationary supplies. Do I shop at Michaels too much? Probably. But do I find great deals on Clearance and sale items? Most definitely.

This store just recently opened back up after renovation. It is pretty clean and kept organized moat of the time. Around the holidays it tends to be messy, but thats expected when everyone is doing holiday shopping.

If you dont hit a certain amount your hours will be cut down to 8hrs or less a week. When I confronted the manager about this she told me I should get a SECOND JOB.. So I took her advice and got hired on with a major company. Thus going part time with michaels.. Without knowing I was removed from the schedule entirely.. I asked my manager again and she said she needed more availability. .. for 8hrs a week!?.. I ended up quitting michaels and now work for a company whos management knows what they are doing.My advice to Christna (Supervisor)Before you make a judgment on someone dont compare them to someone you knew from the past. - Unnecessary bullying from day one.

If this was 4 months ago, then I would have given higher stars. This place has gone down hill. The customer service was horrible. Their sale sign was misleading and they didnt want to admit fault. When corrected, Cory, just stared, not acknowledging anything. Caleb (the manager) was no help when we called. This is sad because it was my go to for canvases. Guess Im going to Hobby Lobby from now on.

I’ve had pleasant experiences in this store until today when completing a personal return before picking up a DoorDash order. Despite showing the manager my phone with a clear DD order and the customers name she requested my license saying it was required. While I did give it to her, I found this odd and uncomfortable because I have picked up MULTIPLE orders from this location and shopped here personally and never once have I been required to show my ID. When I mentioned this to her, she just replied “they’re supposed to ask”. What she failed to realize or remember is — I picked up my last order from HER without a request for ID. She also did NOT ask the customer in front of me for her license.

It’s nice to be able to get craft supplies on a Sunday if your project doesn’t go as planned!

I’m leaving a 3 ⭐️ because I can’t leave 2.5 I only had two legitimate questions when checking out. Like Dee’s review from 3 weeks ago I’m not sure what’s going on but I told the young lady not only do I want you to have a double blessed rest of your day but I am going to pray double blessings for you sweety. That seemed to cheer her a little so something must be going on but I’ve never seen anyone here have this low level of enthusiasm. She barked at me but it’s okay we have to pray for people. I hate this Michael’s. They are always so poorly stocked, especially in holiday stock. If you don’t buy it as soon as it comes out, you’ll never get another chance because they never re-stock

I just called to ask if they had $5 grab bags available and the girl who answered couldn’t be anymore miserable with her life right now. She couldn’t even pretend to be polite. When I thanked her for answering my question I could hear the annoyance in her voice and she just hung up on me, couldn’t even say a simple “you’re welcome” or “bye”.

I shop at Michaels, maybe more than I should but I love to paint and dont like to run low on my favourit supplies. Latly, the store off 281 and near 1604 North has been my go to, till today. Last time I was at the store, my nearly full cart disappeared after I had been shopping for well over an hour. I had some good finds that I was excited about. No one knew or care to tell me where my car went but I know that an employee removed it from the sales floor and took it to the back of the store. I have never even heard of such a thing. My assumption was that I was under suspicion of being a thief, but what an odd thing to do. Todays trip was less intriguing but just as insulting. I was at the store for no longer than five min when the employees started circling me, stalking me. This lasted till I paid. I felt very uncomfortable, insulted and embarrassed. There are other way to deal with loss prevention, harassing your suspected customers should not be an acceptable method. I have never stolen from Michaels. I spend between one and two hundred dollars each time I shop there. For now Hobby Lobby and JoAnn will be getting my money.

Yes, I love this store. Always find what I need and what I dont need 😏. Found a cute little container/pot and added my own design. Should have purchased more. Just like to create. Will see if my store has any of these since I was out of town when I got this. Great store.

I needed help in the yarn section, but nobody was able to answer my questions. Spent over an hour trying to Google in the store to get the yarn I needed.

When a customer asks a question employee should be able to answer. All he said is I need to check my rewards and it would tell me. So I asked again and he not know the answer so I will him know the senior discount is 10 percent for 55 years and older. So now you know!As for the young lady who helped me.... thank you, wish more employees were like you.

Easy area to access location. Generally loads of items in stock and online for curbside pick up. There are generally only 2 lanes open for checkout but they tend to go fairly quickly. Michaels always has good coupons and offers.

Love this store for storage containers and candles... Will definitely be back.

I just ordered online and picked up online the other day from this Michael’s and the process went smoothly as ever. Especially amidst all the virus chaos going on, they took extra care and made sure everything was super easy and safe. All I had to do was call the store and they immediately brought it to my trunk, no wait time at all. Kudos!

What a pleasant experience! Paula assisted me and knew exactly where everything I asked for was. Lailani checked me out and was patient with me. I ran to get a last minute item. Store was clean, merch was easy to find....Oh and It’s time to start playing Christmas musiic! Yeah!

I used to shop here for real bargains but the sales arent as good as they once were. Their Buy one, get another one at 50 percent off is NOT a great deal unless you plan on buying two items. What happened to Buy one get one free offers? Might be the result of businesses suffering due to COVID. Hope those real bargains eventually come back.

I have never felt the need to write about my experiences until I went to this michaels today. I went in to get some t shirts to decorate and I saw a coupon on the app that said it could be used in store and online. I went to the check out and was rudely told that I had to have a barcode on my coupon in order to use it. I showed the cashier and the manager that it said I could use the coupon in store and they both rudely said that I had to have a barcode. I bought the shirts and once I got to my car I decided to go back and return them because I was so angry about how I was treated.I ended up calling their customer support line to share my experience and got no help. It was obvious that the customer service people did not know what they were talking about and would keep changing their response to the same questions. They claimed I had to email a screenshot of their own website even though they said that they were on the website and were able to see where I saw that the coupon was available in store. After over an hour and a half on the phone with both a representative and a supervisor I still had no answers and was told that they would have the store manager call me about my experience. I said I didn’t want to talk to anyone from that store and they said they could have a district manager call me. Overall, it was just a terrible experience and I will never go back to a Michaels store knowing how little they care about their customers.

Cool place get all kinds of stuff for decorating and crafts

My wife loves crafting, and every time she mentions going here, I feel it right in my wallet. Even during their frequent sales, Michaels is notoriously overpriced, although their selection is fairly good. Save yourself some money, though. If you dont need it today, order it online for 60% the price of this place.

Love this place! It has everything you wish for in terms of craft. Even small parts to possibly repair a favorite old decor. The lines are long even though all the cashiers are all open. So forget the idea of quick run in and out! This store has a lot of business so it would be great if somehow they could expand to meet the demand.

Great store but did not have actual art paper for fine colored pencil drawings. I wanted black paper and had to go to a real art store. They have all types construction paper and watercolor paper. Great for craft project etc.

Very well stocked. Much more so than the location at the Forum. I wonder what the difference is in their font traffic.

So many good sales got a ton of stuff

Went in to buy a frame. Ad claimed Studio Decor frames were 50% off. Cashier said these were not included even though its a Studio Decor brand. I needed the frame so I went ahead and bought it. I had the ad with me. When I got home and checked the ad I noticed the 40% off coupon. The cashier saw I had the ad and didnt say I could use the coupon on the frame.So much for customer service. The frame is going back.

Michaels is honestly my favorite place to shop. They have a ton of options and art supplies that you cant really find anywhere else, which is great! The employees are super nice and helpful. Another great thing is its never crowded and everything is neatly organized, so Its easy to find what you want. All in all, I love this place! 10/10

I traveled 40 miles to get to this location before they closed, and the aisles I needed access to were blocked off with inventory. Employees saw us struggling to get the items needed in these aisles, but never offered to help. By the time I got to the checkout, a clerk noticed we had 4 people in our party, each paying for something separately. She rudely said, You all cant use coupons unless youre using different forms of payment. I was there with my husband and 2 adult daughters. We all have our own bank cards/accounts. After that, she let us know we couldnt use a 40% off coupon on a sale item, which I have no problem with. I asked if they could charge us full price so I could use the coupon and she said no. The problem is, the items I needed werent advertised as being on sale, so when I traveled 40 miles to the store with my coupons, I didnt want to pay 10% off, (sale price), I expected to get the item for 40% off with my coupon. I was done with her attitude and her sass and I will just take business to Joann or Hobby Lobby. I understand store policy, its the bratty way in which policy was relayed to us. I dont have patience for rudeness.

Expense and limited selection on some things. If you do florals, youre set. If you paint.... not so much. They only seem to carry their house brand and Golden. They do have a great selection of craft paints.

5 people were waiting outside the store with closed doors& there wasn’t even a closed sign. I posted a pic of the sign they put later in the night.

I ordered some storage towers online and decided to pick up in store. It was during the holidays and they were fabulous. Attention was quick and the staff even helped me load up in my truck.

Decent sized location with good selection of crafting supplies, ive only had specialty items be hard to find or not there.

I ordered $40 worth of materials through the store pickup app, and my order was lost in the system. Not only was the store unable to tell me what happened to the materials, but when I showed them my card had already been charged the only thing they could tell me was that It has been cancelled on our end so hopefully your money is returned within 3-7 business days. No one could verify why my card had been charged and they were unwilling to give us our materials without charging us full price again.When I tried to find where my money had gone through the online help, the person repeated the same thing and was very rude and ended the chat. Will most likely not shop at Michaels again.

They have so many great craft projects this store is very clean and neat and well-organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful this is my go-to store for crafts and art supplies it is very easy to find and has lots of parking that is very visible from the road. I love Michaels and their crafts and supplies ie Sharpie pens and every color and style is fantastic.

Instructor was busy taking care of the store and teaching the class. She needed more help. Thank you for offering craft classes for kids. I appreciate the chance to do crafts with my grandkids. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and cant wait for the next class.

Lovely visit today, this location is the best in SA, always fully stocked, always fully staffed, and I always find what I need. Was offered help by a few staff members in a polite, not pushy manner. My cashier was sweet and helpful. And the coupons are always fantastic!

This place is always makes my hair perfect.

This is a fairly small store but they still have a wide variety of merchandise. I would avoid weekday mornings because thats when they get in inventory. It seems like they dont have enough room in their inventory area and there are always many carts/boxes of inventory in a lot of aisles. They usually dont have many registers open at checkout but the cashiers are pretty fast and the lines move quickly.

Only one checker, stood in line for 20 minutes before I gave up and left. Workers were helpful and store was clean and organized.

My husband and I arrived at the store at 5:45 just to find out that they had locked the doors early. Online and the paper on the door both say they close at 6pm. The lady that came to the door was very rude when she said it was closed and i am not the only unhappy customer today.

It seemed unorganized and a bit on the messy and cluttered side. I know the holidays just happened and there is a lot of clearance but I feel like they may be understaffed. If not understaffed then the managers should really get on the ball with tasking the employees and knocking out some of the many boxes piled up. If I worked for Michaels Id be a little embarrassed with the condition of the store. Also the posted deals are a bit misleading :/ and the online price didnt match up with the store price. Still I did enjoy my visit with my family. Thank you guys.

I went in for a few jewelry findings and ended up buying tools as well. The whole place is gearing up for Christmas and Halloween. It was wonderful to go in and see so much excitement happening.

My second home I love this store. Even if I have no intention to get anything,I get coupons from my email or they text me about the sales and i cant refuse the 50% or 70 % off deals. I have been buying beads for jewlery and making my own gifts.That feels great

This is probably my favorite place to shop. As an artist, I deeply appreciate their great deals and huge coupons! Art supplies are extremely expensive, but they make it so much more affordable for someone a budget. From projects like making dreamcatchers, to crocheting, or most DIYs, they have it. Also...Does anyone else just love the smell of Michael’s when you first walk in? Anyway, love this place!!

Michaels is a notable craft store considering they usually have anytime coupons 20% off sales or 40% off single items. The employees here are pretty fun as well it is easy to strike up a casual conversation complete with risque subject matter and lewd jokes. Of course this would probably not look well to management but I appreciate that sort of customer experience. Its little things like that that I give 5 star reviews for

I always love visiting Michaels instead of Joann. The staff is always friendlier and the selection is better. Joann has a lot of fabric if that is what you are looking for but Michaels has a well rounded selection including a fully stocked Happy Planner section.

Good selection and prices. Always fun to walk through and explore ideas.
