I had a great experience buying a gooseneck dump trailer from this location. Cody and Francisco bent over backwards to get the trailer ready for me in time to leave early in the morning. I had several special requests to assist with inspecting the undercarriage of the trailer before accepting it and they were extremely accommodating. My last minute choice to add a tarp was met by tons of hard work by these great folks and they nailed it. Can’t wait to get the trailer to work!

I have never posted a review of a negative nature regarding a business, but I believe it necessary to prevent other people from experiencing what I did at Lonestar Truck and Equipment (LTE).I have bought two ODES units from this business over the past two years. The first unit was also with an extended warranty. The unit was in for service (preventative maintenance) and repairs. I asked them to look unit over and give me a quote on repairs. I was contacted later and told that the repairs and labor would be in excess of 6700 dollars. I was told that since odes went bankrupt, the extended warranty was no longer valid. I asked if LTE would stand behind their product and cover some of the repairs like welding a broken bracket on the bed (part unavailable according to shop) or welding a broken stabilizer bracket. I was once again told that LTE would not stand behind their product sold to me, and that it would be my responsibility. I asked to have certain safety issues repaired (nylon bushings and retainers for the a-arm bolts), but then was told that none of the parts I needed for the repairs were available in the U.S. I declined replacing all 4 cv shafts just because one had a hole in the boot, i wanted just the broken one replaced. Since parts were not available i had them just put together and I picked up.They charged me 1400 dollars in labor because they supposedly had to tear the front end apart to evaluate even BEFORE giving me a quote. When all the parts: cv shafts and boots, shocks, a-arms, etc. are clearly visible without parting the machine. Then still charged me extensively on the labor to put back together with worn parts affecting safety because they supposedly could not find from Odes (I had given shop foreman contact of Motorcycle Doctor which was given to me by the Odes company man to find parts if Odes did not have them).The remaining balance was for the preventative maintenance and shop supplies and shipping to total 1944.67On previous visit i had paid for door hinges that were never installed so asked if they could put those in this trip since i had already paid for the parts and labor previously.....guess what.....same broken hinges. Also not a grease fitting was touched during the preventative maintenance. Finally, the sway bar bracket that they charged me three hours to weld was never touched. I have pictures and videos of the unit as soon as it came home to verify if anyone would like additional proof.I had try contacting Josh who sold me the units to try to work something out, but he never responded. As a business owner myself, sometimes we have to step up and work with our clients to resolve issues that may be out of our control to come to a happy median when backing the products and service we provide. I paid my bill in full. I will not buy another Odes or Benchee from LTE and I would warn anyone thinking about purchasing to proceed with caution.

Have 10 k down for a international pickup within two months broke Dow took to dealer because josh kept telling us to take . Dealer advise us that it’s been there multiple times . So we asked josh to fix and wouldn’t so we ask for money back or another truckAll he kept saying was his father is the one that calls the shots. But josh sure was fast to take our money . Beware don’t buy from them just go to dealer as everyone there has left elsewhere even sales guys and mechanics. Word of advice might as well donate to a charity and write it off would of been better than giving them my money.
