Malik is as real as they come. Super helpful. He even stayed late to help me with my headlight when I was in a time crunch. Cannot recommend him enough.

Update: have enjoyed the shop so much I even bought a car with my girlfriend from the owner! What a great find in a new city! So glad to have met Malik the owner. A very honest, hard working man that is devoted to servicing his customers.Have loved Maliks service and advice so far! Found out about his shop due to my anytime fitness membership and have been very impressed by him and his mechanic Jose at the shop. They get the job done efficiently and can clearly explain everything a car needs. Also doesnt do more than what is neccessary. Very much appreciate this place.

Malik is an amazing mechanic! He explains everything you need to know in detail in language you can understand. He does his best to find the best and most inexpensive options to fix your vehicle. I do not live close to the shop in any way, but I will travel for an hour if I need to for a reliable and honest mechanic such as Malik!

I stumbled across Nile Car Service while on my lunch break looking for a quick oil change. Being on my lunch break i was limited on time and voiced this to Malik upon arriving. He quickly started the oil change process no questions asked. I definitely felt that they value their customers here and provide excellent service. These guys went above and beyond for me. Although I didnt know it, Id blown my A/C compressor about ten minutes before arriving. These guys had it diagnosed less than half an hour later and I had an appointment the very next morning to get it replaced.Unfortunately, that would take time, and I had to be across town for school. The owner says thats not a problem and offers to drive me to and from school. He had the system fixed within the day (my car has the A/C system mounted strangely in the bumper) and cleaned the throttle body while he was in there.It was not cheap, but the price beat nearly every shop Ive been able to find. What made me want to leave a review was the service. Everyone was polite, friendly, and professional. I felt instantly welcome there, and not just because I was going to pay them. Now, my A/C works better than Ive ever known it to, and I didnt have to suspend my entire day just to get it fixed.Definitely would go back to them again.

My review is based on the status of their shop on Google, I have called a few times and I got no respond, I came to the shop twice and it was closed even though it says on Google it was open. If the owner is traveling or out of the city on vacation he should’ve got in contact with a digital marketer to change the status of the shop to temporarily closed so that clients wouldn’t make a trip to the shop and then find out it’s closed!! He is a great guy but I’m sorry, I have an issue with my vehicle that he knows about and told me he would ask for the cost of the parts then call me so that I bring my car to get it fixed. He kept on forgetting about it so I messaged him on April 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th he saw it but never responded!!! If he is busy at least let me know, or tell me hey man the shop is closed temporarily, anything would have been helpful yet, nothing until now!.

Was visiting San Antonio from Houston and everyone there was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help me out. If youre just visiting or live here permanently and your car needs anything, I highly recommend Niles. They treat you like family as soon as you step on their lot and respect your time, getting you back in the road as soon as humanly possible.

While on a visit to see my son in San Antonio my car radiator broke on a Saturday!I am so thankful we found Malik at Niles. He was so kind and helpful.As my car is an older Land Rover, parts are not easy to find. Plus this was late on a Saturday!Part was ordered by Malik and he immediately went to work on installing as soon as part arrived on Tuesday. By Tuesday evening we were back in DFW area with no problems at all.I certainly appreciate too that he did not try to price gouge us. As a new resident to SA a few years ago, I didnt have a trusted mechanic. After shopping around and speaking to many people who were obviously trying to take advantage of my ignorance, Malik won my business with his honesty and willingness to explain the issues to me. Scam artists like the rest of them. Their favorite line is the average customers price is $$$, but for you, our dealer price is $$ (since I purchased through one of their known dealerships). You know its bad when the dealership that referred me to them backed out and got the repairs done elsewhere for about a $1000 difference. Please look elsewhere before you even consider this shop.

This place is nothing but damn scam artist they wanted to charge my wife 700 dollars to replace an intake manifold! Took it to a mechanic on Hildebrand got it done for 250 same labor same part. I think its based off their location not everyone has Olmos Park money

Im a college student, my car broke down out of nowhere in the beginning of the school year and I needed a new car within a week. I took my old car into the owner and he told me he had just fixed up a car in my price range. Not taking the time to look around for very many options, I bought the 2nd hand car from Nile Automotive and I havent had a problem since. The car runs well just like the owner had promised. I almost paid for a scam on Craigs list offering a ridiculously good price for another car option I was considering. The Nile Automotives owner cautioned me on the purchase. I would say this shop has a honest work ethic and would definitely recommend it.

I purchased a used GMC Yukon so that I can have a daily driver and not put too many miles on my other car. I knew it had some suspension issues since I got it for a pretty low price. I took it to Nile Automotive and had them look at it. Malik took the time to walk me into the bay and explain his concerns by showing me directly on the vehicle. This was very impressive to me as most places will just tell you what you need done from behind a counter. Malik was very personable and professional.I run pretty large business and I always pay close attention to how folks interact with me. I expect no less than what I expect from my staff. Absolutely fantastic service; Im a satisfied customer. Heres how the story goes:Driving a 2005 Honda Civic close to 200k miles, and I knew that I had some engine issues that need to be resolved.Took my car in for a routine oil change after calling to make sure that they had the time, and the owner Malik let me know that it wouldnt be a problem. I showed up, spoke to another employee there Johnny, and he hooked me up right away, explaining that they will also go through a courtesy check. Just a short time later, I received a call, confirming what I already knew: engine needed several new seals, a new timing belt, new serpentine belt, other drive belts, the engine had very little oil due to excessive leaking, etc.Malik was kind enough to help explain these issues and what they mean for my vehicle, and gave me a call back with an estimate.Next day, Ive been shown all of the old parts, all of the work is done, and the car is driving great. The total came out to more or less what he quoted me, and I felt secure in the decision to choose Nile Auto Service for my repairs. Ill be going back in a few months for my next routine oil change, and Im confident Ill be walking out happy once again.

I was riding my motorcycle when it just started to rain and my bike slipped underneath me in a turn. It fell on top of the jockey shifter and bent it to where I couldnt shift my gears anymore. Thankfully it happened near Nile Auto and when I approached Malik, he first made sure I was alright because he saw the incident. Once I showed Malik the problem he said he could try and fix it, which he did, with his coworker in 5 minutes!You can really feel the Hospitality and Honesty in the atmosphere when youre there and Malik was a terrific character. Car repairs are always really difficult to judge. They are expensive, and as a consumer, you usually know next to nothing about the work that is done on your vehicle. You see the price, and and immediately ask how am I being ripped off here?My experience at Nile Auto was the opposite of the situation described above. Malik, the owner and all of his mechanics were extremely friendly and compassionate. I was constantly updated on the status of my car and repair, and Malik did an extremely great job of explaining the issues they found to a relative car dummy. Malik went above and beyond in ensuring that I had access to my car when I needed it, and was able to get some difficult repairs done in a timely manner.The repair was fairly priced, and I have trust in the quality of work that Malik and his mechanics did. Honestly, just talking to Malik for five minutes will give you an immediate sense of his character and trustworthiness, and that alone is more than enough reason to bring my car back in the future. I cannot recommend his auto shop highly enough.
