I had a minor accident involving a rental car and having had a poor experience with dealing with the rental car company and my insurance company previously, I went to Collision (without an appointment) and was taken care of immediately. No insurance claims, no hassle from the rental car company.Professional, courteous, and understanding! Great company to do business with. Bailen, the Service Advisor was fantastic!!

They will take advantage of your trust and deliver a substandard product. Three days after I dropped off my car for a minor body and paint job, I was told the car was ready. I was presented with the all done paperwork and was told where I should sign. I asked to see the car, first. They then told me the car wasnt ready and I should sit down. lol Uh, no. Call me when its ready. Later that day they told me it was ready, but upon inspection the car had orange peel covering everywhere they painted. I informed them that was unacceptable and they promised to fix it. The next time i was told the car was ready, the orange peel was only in three of four large patches. And while I was pointing out the problems, I was told by the manager that they try to get a feel for how much orange peel is acceptable. Translation: we try to see how good of a job we have to do. So if you trust they will do it right, you will receive a painted orange instead of a painted steel car. They even told me BMW and other manufacturers cars come from the factory with orange peel. I gave caliber three tries. There is still one patch of orange peel, but Im done. Two stars because they at least tried to make it right a couple times. But I shouldnt have to tell them where they didnt do a good job and I shouldnt be fed excuses for poor quality. Customer service is not eventually getting it close enough to right that the customer gives up. Its getting it right the first time because you take pride in your product. I will never use caliber collision and will tell everyone I can to stay away.

A good paint job is in its edges. Had to take my car back because the paint edges were off. Their fix, was to paint over with black to fix the over lined areas causing some textural differences. It’s not terrible. But it catches my eye. Perhaps I am more critical bc of the horrible paint job the first round. Should’ve never been an issue in my opinion. They lack attention to detail. If your eye is as good as mine, I suggest you try someplace else.

This place is AMAZING! After finding no place open on a Saturday, I came across this location of Caliber Collision - they answered the phone! They sounded so nice on the phone and we rushed right over. The car had been involved in a hit and run while it was parked in front of our house. I have been to Caliber Collision Auto Body Shop located at 23758 U.S. Hwy 281 N, San Antonio, TX 78258 several times over the last few years. This visit was due to a thief who “popped” the driver’s side door lock and forced the safe in the center console open stealing the contents. Caliber Collision Service Advisor Kerri Matthews met me when I walked in and her calmness and professionalism was incredible and reassuring. She examined the damage and made an assessment in relatively short order. The parts were ordered and several days later I dropped my truck off for repairs in the morning and by mid-afternoon the truck repairs were complete.In my opinion, it is not often that one has confidence in Service Advisors at car repair facilities but Caliber Collision has an absolute winner with Kerri Matthews! I wish I would have never brought my car here. I dropped it off April and didnt get it back until mid July. When I dropped off my vehicle it had 96,317 miles on it, & when I picked it up it had 97,784. They put over 1000 miles on it while under their care. They could never get the job right, from headlights falling off, paint chips, additional dents, my door panel being broken, the side mirror not functioning, my leather seats scratched and damaged, the electric switches being swapped from the lock panel and window panel. I had to take my car back three times to get some of the mistakes fixed; they wont fix all the damage they did. My side mirror wasnt working, and they charged for things they shouldnt have, but they did fix on the second visit. They did provide a rental the second time at no charge thanks to the regional manager. My door panel is broken, they said they would look into it, but the regional manager never got back to me. In May after a month of being at the shop, on the day I was supposed to pick it up Samantha St. John called me frantically to explain that the electronics had stopped working, and for me to drive it off like that (no turn signals working, headlights not working, my A/C not functioning essentially giving it back to me in worse condition then I dropped it off), after they took double the time that was anticipated and double the cost which they gladly got paid for by my insurance. The regional manager yelled at me, and will side with the mediocre job his employees do, saying it was my issue and to drive my car in this dangerous condition, but finally had it towed. The relay was messed up, which I argued with them, they towed it to another shop. There I was notified that they caused the shortage, but Caliber denies it to this day. Im having to pay to fix it from damages they caused. I will never be doing business with this place again. It might be considered a reputable place, but it is a nightmare. Two weeks after I picked it up I had an oil leak, sensors that I had notified them were affected by the accident turned out to not be replaced, and Im dealing with the aftermath to this day. My vehicle will never be the same. Caliber Collision: Restoring the chaos to your life.

Man! You all are great. Brought my truck in for what was estimated to be $1700 bumper replacement. It ended up costing nearly $5000 because damage was done to the mounting brackets headlights and bezel. I didnt notice any of that and the fact that Louis took the time to make sure I wasnt going to get down the road and notice issues with condensation in my headlights is AWESOME! The original estimate was 10 days. Louis listened to my requests to try to get me back on the road for work and cut the work time in half! He documented the issues and repairs, kept me in the loop, and got me back to business. Ive never, EVER, had as good of an experience with anyone in the automotive industry. Caliber, you got yourself a customer for life. Thanks again

Caliber Collision under promised and over delivered. Dropped the car Tuesday morning and I was told it would be done Monday. Other collision repair places said it would take 2 weeks. The car was ready on Thursday the 3rd day they had the car. Great quality and excellent service. I would highly recommend Caliber Collision.

UNBELIEVEABLE SUPERB SERVICE!!! I dropped off my vehicle at noon on Monday and picked it up on Tuesday around 3:00 p.m. That is a super fast turnaround and the repair work is FLAWLESS! Although I had to pay a deductible it did not hurt so bad because the people at this Caliber Collision location thoroughly cleaned my vehicle - both outside and inside. Who does that? Stopped by Caliber today on 281 with my brand new Hyundai Sonata that had received some unfortunate scuffs and scratches the day after I brought it home from the lot. They were GREAT! Fixed the scratches and scuffs right there in an extremely short period of time and I got my beautiful new car back. This is the second time I’ve used Caliber. They fixed my Ford Fusion after an ugly accident and kept me updated at every step of the way and even checked on the car AFTER they fixed it. Very professional and awesome company. A little chaotic, but its a Monday and apparently thats the day that they try to fit in insurance claim vehicles. The agent that did my intake didnt give me a whole lot of info about the possibility of delays due to parts shortage, but inside, another agent was thorough in explaining all of that to me, plus what to expect for error codes related to the type of damage I had on my car and how they would correct that.

Carrie Mathews was amazing! Very professional and personally went the extra mile to get me back on the road as an essential medical provider! I appreciate her concern and support to get my car back in shape and good to go!

We have used Caliber a number of times (unfortunately, but hey, not my fault!), and they have always done an excellent job! Always very couteous. And, if you need a rental, Enterprise is practically next door.

I don’t get it, I have used them multiple times. But for some reason each time is never the last with them. They continue to break our things and promise to fix but that’s really all we get. Jason (the manager) gave me his word this last time. He indicated that he would personally see to it that they repair their issues they had made when attempting to make my repairs. I just picked my truck up from them only to see that the tech who went back to make a correction in which he messed up had broken my center console. This is unreal. What should have taken maybe a week has turned into weeks upon weeks upon weeks and hundreds and hundreds of dollars in car rentals only because they can’t fix the issues and cause more and more issues. This happens every. Single. Time. I’m done with them. Jason apparently did not in fact look at my truck prior to releasing it. This is NOT the definition of indemnification. As of yet, I have been made worse, not as I was pre-loss. I would LOVE to speak to the owner. I have already left a detailed message for the Chief Experience Officer over all of Caliber, (Claudia Schaefer). Hoping to get some resolution fast.Edit: Feb 2, 2021Manager (Jason) has since then reached out to me and has expressed concern for the issue and had stated to have taken care of the matter himself. He has since then personally delivered my vehicle as it should have been initially. The vehicle has been repaired back to pre-loss conditions. Jason has also afforded coverage for the additional expenses in which i incurred out of pocket for rental fees for the residual days. I have explained to Jason that I would amen my review. I am not taking it down completely as I have still incurred tons of headache with this location and more money that I should have in rentals but all has been made right this instance. Jason has made amends with me and has personally made right this go around. Thanks Jason. I will explain the help I received to corporate if they reach out to me. I doubt they will, but if corporate reaches out to me from my attempt in contacts I will relay the gratitude.

I took my vehicle into Caliber Collision after getting rear ended. Its located just down the street from my house, so the convenience was a plus. My adviser, Mr. Cesar Figueroa provided excellent customer service and was very helpful. He was very attentive with looking over my vehicle and providing me with the info I needed to get my vehicle repaired. Cesar was honest, very friendly and kept me in the loop with the progress of my vehicle. If you need your vehicle repaired professionally and with great service, then Cesar is your man. I highly recommend Caliber collision at 281 North and Marshall Road. Theyve definitely earned my business for years to come.

The work Caliber did on my Tacoma was very well done, and was completed ahead of schedule. Communications were so easy by text message throughout the entire process. I was able to stay informed and to ask questions while never really being bothered, because it was on my schedule. I worked with a guy named Rudy Fuller, who was incredibly kind and helpful through out the entire process. Nobody wants the front of their truck torn up hitting a deer... I swear after it came back from Caliber, my truck actually looked better than it did before the crash (it was even all clean and detailed too!) These folks are the real deal!

Getting into an accident sucks, even one as minor as the one that I was in. The whole process was horrendous, at least until I arrived at Caliber Collision. Every step in the process prior to arriving at Caliber Collision involved weeks of discussion and at least two phone calls per request. When I finally got Approved through the insurance company for my repair, the list of hoops I had to jump through for the repair check made my head spin, but nonetheless I had no choice but to agree to the terms to get my car repaired. Upon arriving at Caliber Collision I was paired up with Travis Owens, and I am quite glad that I was. From that moment on Travis took care of everything for me. I no longer had to contact the insurance company, nor did I have to come out of pocket any money whatsoever, and my vehicle was fixed and returned on time. He made the end process easy and quick and made sure that I was not being taken advantage of by the insurance company. If you need any help with vehicle repair, you have to go see Travis Owens.

The reason I keep coming back is because of Cesar! I know nothing about vehicles or repairs, how much they should cost, how long they should take, etc., but Cesar has earned my absolute trust. He is extremely personable, maintains communication throughout the whole repair process, and has an uncanny ability to make you feel at ease in what’s not normally a good situation. We dropped my daughter to car off at caliber after she was rear ended. The repairs took less then a week. When I went to pick it up Taylor brought me the car and explain everything in detail, he went over the receipt with me a pointed out everything that they did to repair the vehicle. He explained that they were able to us some of the existing trim, and that even though the insurance company allowed aftermarket parts, he assured me that all NEW OEM parts were used.Caliber collision could use more people like a Taylor, he was very professional and able to answer any question I had pertaining to the repair.Although this Caliber Collision is somewhat difficult to get to and has a very small parking area, their customer service and professionalism will definitely keep me coming back if I ever need a vehicle repaired again.

After asking friends and family for some recommendations, I was directed to Caliber 281 North. From the start, Luis gave me a legit estimate. There were no surprises and no run arounds. They gave me updates and set proper expectations. Overall my experience was great and props to their mechanic for properly diagnosing and fixing my truck. Very impressed! After dropping off my car Johnathan drove me over to Enterprise to get my rental and even went inside with me to make sure all the paperwork was ready. Once my car was repaired Jason was kind enough to bring it to me at my work location and return my rental car for me. My car looked like new again and was spotless on the inside, too. i will definitely recommend me them to all my friends.

Had my 2018 Silverado repaired here because I have a friend that works here but he went on vacation before my pickup was finished. Luis was the guy assigned to oversee the work done on my pickup and he kept me up to date on what was being done each day. When I got the call that my pickup was ready I was so overjoyed to have my pickup back that I didnt even look it over until I got home. Then I noticed the side step had not been replaced and still had a dent. Then I hooked my trailer onto my pickup and the trailer lights didnt work. They hadnt plugged the wires in behind the bumper and also a couple of bolts were missing from behind the bumper. One of my wheels was supposed to be replaced also and was not. I called Luis and he said bring it up and they would fix the problems. I did and while I was waiting on Luis to come out of his office I noticed my pickup did not say Z71 Off-road on the side of the bed anymore. They forgot to put my decals on. Then they couldnt find them although on my receipt it showed they were paid for. Luis said he would reorder them and that he would call me when they came in. Its been a month or so and I havent heard from Luis. Ive called up there three times and left messages for him to call me and he hasnt. They are going to get a surprise visit from me next time Im in S. A. and theyre not gonna like it. Luis did not do his job and make sure the work was done properly and complete before they called me to pick it up. He should be fired.

I scheduled time to have my vehicle looked at to determine extent of damage underneathh from a minor fenderbender. Travis was excellent and put my vehicle on lift within an hour and let me know there was no other damage. when I came to pick up the car, he had it parked out front, washed, and no charge. I was able to get my car in the day after my damage and Thad my car fixed within a week. Taylor made sure to call me everyday with updates. He kept me very up to date with what was happening with my car and it came back looking great.

Travis Owens personally made the whole mess of dealing with insurance to get my car repaired much easier. He went out of his way dealing with the insurance representatives personally so I wouldn’t have to contact them. I’m also one to be very skeptical of leaving my 600hp truck with anyone. I do all my own maintenance just to avoid leaving it at a shop. He assured me no one would be driving it & if for some reason they needed to take it offsite he would drive it and immediately let me know. When I picked it up 2 weeks later it had less then 2 miles on it. They finished the repairs very quickly, getting the insurance supplements is what took the extra time. Very friendly & trust worthy staff. The body work and paint looks like new👌🏻

Ive taken 2 vehicles for body repair. Both cars were not ready on schedule or when they called us to pick up. One car still had issues when they said it was good to go, so we drove over there for nothing. The other vehicle had 2 different headlights (they claimed they replaced both), which was noticeable that night. So again we had to return our vehicle. They do pretty good body work, but you really need to look at everything because they lack attention to detail.
