Best auto mechanic in San Antonio I highly recommend this location to anyone they fix all types of vehicles they’re fast friendly and get right to the point. They make you feel like you’re part of the family. They have really great prices for whatever needs you need for your vehicle. And if you go to visit the one on Bandera I highly recommend Eddie. He is awesome employee . My Jeep is running like new he fix the issue even after I had talked to a different place and cost me so much money and they never fix it, just one time taking it here and it’s fix like new . Me and my family want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Eddie .

A red lightning bolt came on while I was driving my car. I called Goose automotive and spoke to Frank; I explained to him what happened he told me to bring the car in right then and there and theyll diagnosis it right away. I dropped my car off at 9 am on a Tuesday and I asked him how much is the diagnosis fee, he wouldnt tell me the price but kept saying hell give me a couple discounts. I was told that Frank would call me once they figure out the problem. I called to check on my car around 2 pm and they said theyre still working on it. I didnt get any updates about my car until 3pm the next day and that was by an email showing me an invoice for the diagnosis fee and for the work that needed to be done in order to fix the problem. No one called to explain to me what was going on with my car. So, I called and told them that Ill pick up my car and when I went to go get it, Frank didnt put any discounts on the bill and when I asked about it, another man stated the diagnosis fee cant be discounted. This place is a big contradiction. I was told my car would be diagnosed ASAP but that wasnt true and I was told that I would be given a discount for diagnosis fee. I didnt ask for the discount, Frank offered it to me! I ended up getting my car fixed somewhere else and they didnt charge me $700.

My transmission was slipping and I needed help before my transmission completely flat lined. I tried 3 other shops before Goose and couldnt be helped as no one had the stick needed to check fluid for my cars model. Thats when I wound up here. Luckily, they worked on my Dodge and gave it not one, but two transmission flush treatments. Thanks to them, my car is running smoothly once again.Bonus points: they offer a limited warranty on certain repairs! I know my repair didnt fall into these categories but its great to know for future work. Additionally, I wasnt told I needed all sorts of things done or was spoken to like a child because Im a woman and went looking for help alone.The employees were nothing but professional. The shop itself was nice and clean, too! You certainly wouldnt feel uncomfortable if you decided to wait inside.Overall, the price was fantastic, the service was phenomenal, and the shop itself was the cleanest Ive seen. Id hands down, recommend this shop for any of your cars needs.

My F150 was in pretty bad shape when I took it in. They identified all the problems I was experiencing, explaining cause and what it took to fix them. And they did fix them, and the truck is running wonderfully now. Very happy. Very pleased with the work and will return for future work as needed.

I was headed to Henrys Puffy Tacos in San Antonio with my sister. On the way, our car slowed to a crawl. We limped to Goose Automotive, since it was close. Long story short, they fixed the issue same day for a good price (we verified with our mechanic in Austin).Also, great people at the front. Very friendly and good working with us. Also, very patient even when I asked many questions.

My car broke down on a trip from Austin to San Antonio. Goose Automotive showed up on Google Maps as close and having good reviews.I called from my car, in the heat of the Texas summer, and Frank answered with a friendly voice and helped me understand a little about the problem. I felt so relieved.My car made it to Goose, and even though it was late in the day, Frank worked hard to get me in and out before closing. I dont know what I wouldve done if Id been stranded here!When he sent me the estimate, it was all laid out clearly. I confess, I called my normal mechanic to see if that was a good price (because you never know with new mechanics!), and he looked it up and said that he couldnt have done it for cheaper. That clinched it for me!Frank made what couldve been a super stressful experience into a breeze. If I lived in San Antonio, he would be my mechanic!

Goose automotive diagnosed my ABS lights being on all the time and reset. Two other well known garages could not.

Went in for a second opinion on some AC work. Frank was honest and told us there was nothing wrong and didnt charge us for the time. We will definitely use his services in the future when needed.

Last week late evening as my husband and I were heading home from a long day of work we noticed our vehicle was having trouble picking up speed. We did an emergency pit stop at the first mechanic in sight. It was this place. Front desk was closing up and we were their last customer. Front desk mentioned that diagnosis would be $100. We had no choice, so we agreed, but we thought for sure they would at least take it apart or at least dip their hands inside. In less than twenty minutes they were able to tell me that my engine was too hot to move anything around, but that they knew what it was and they gave us the name of the issue and literally excused us, so they can close for the day. Oh but not before taking $100 from us. Then they said good luck, if you would like to drop it off tomorrow please call before you get here, so we can order the parts. We dragged our vehicle home and called the next day. Parts and labor would be close to $2000 and they offered to give me a $100 credit. No way! How can people run businesses like that. To them $100 may seem like spare change, but to hard working people, which they could see for themselves with our dirty clothes and faces plus our old working vehicle full of equipment and supplies, come on at least have the courtesy to offer us a cup of water, GEEZ!

Took my truck because it was leaking oil, Frank knows what he is talking about and explain the problem. Great work, I highly recommend Goose automotive these guys do care about their vehicles.
