We took our van to Thrash Automotive based on some google reviews. We needed a place close to our vrbo while we were in San Antonio on vacation. We were limited to places within walking distance since we only had one vehicle with us. Our brakes decided to go out while we were on vacation, and we knew we shouldn’t drive home until they were repaired. Thrash squeezed us in the next morning after we called. We were worried about cost while on our trip, but he was able to save our rotors and only replace what was required. They seemed to be very honest. We got our van back that afternoon, and everything is in working order. We are very thankful to find a good place close by.

My experience at Precision Auto was excellent. They are very kind and courteous. The body work on my Honda came out terrific. I was very very happy with the work done on my car. If I am ever in need of body work again I will return to Precision for excellent workmanship. Thank You again.

I called to get the price on a new motor and the guy Mike quickly dismissed .me before I could even finish, telling me,we dont install other peoples parts. I informed him I would like to get it all done there including purchase, he said well I need the VIN number first. I told him I have that, then he said well actually its going to take a few weeks before I even look at it. This is really sad Nd disappointing bc of poor customer service I will not be giving this shop the job and a good 6000 to 7000 was missed out on.

Mike is absolutely fantastic. My car broke down on the highway and USAA took it to the nearest auto shop. Thrash Auto was the closest so it got taken in. The initial look over was very affordable and Mike was very communicative throughout the whole process. My vehicle was with him for over a week, a few days even after they had determined the issue and it was ready to go. They didnt charge me for having it there (I was only passing through San Antonio) and my sister was able to pick it up. Mike texted me the week after. Absolutely fantastic people and I highly recommend them!

I have used Thrash, for all of my vehicles, for many years. They are very expedient and financially reasonable. They have always treated me, as if I am their most important customer. They only fix, what needs to be fixed. They will call u with questions, updates, &/ information. I refer my friends or anyone else to them, all the time.

Great customer service, quickly fixed my vehicle problem, and Wayne communicated with me and updated me daily about my vehicles findings and the progress that was made. He was honest with me and the cost was reasonable. I hope to not have to return soon for other issues, but if needed I will return for their services again. I will absolutely recommend Thrash Auto to others. I don’t have any complaints and was very satisfied with their services. They also mailed me a nice thank you letter with a satisfaction survey in it. The letter also stated that they will send you a check for your referrals to them or you can qualify for another service given with discount. Thank you Thrash!

Mike and Wayne made me feel comfortable right away when I entered their shop the first time.They inspected my truck for the problem that I was having and gave me a very clear picture of what was happening and what it would take to fix it. They gave me a couple of options so that I could save some money on the repair.Several months later my older truck had another problem so I took it back to them and same thing. They took the truck again and got it right back to me.When I ask about a leak they looked at it for me and referred me to a shop well known for its diesel truck mechanics. I really appreciated them not saying they would do something that they did not feel comfortable doing and gave me a top-notch alternative. To me that saysThat they are not being greedy and taking in my truck just to make a few extra bucks.Mark and Wayne have gained my total trust and when the next problem arises I will be going to Thrash Automotive. This is one of my top two places I would recommend going to in San Antonio for taking care of your car the other place would be A+ transmission they know what theyre doing they dont take too long on their Diagnostics they dont screw around with your car they just do the job and do it right they have much better pricing then several other Automotive shops Ive been to and if you need anything done as far as tires go I would recommend Arts or Hectors but this place will help you with your engine and emissions and all the stuff that can sometimes get expensive at other places

Great place operated by Wayne and Mike. They are both knowledgeable, friendly and honest when discussing your vehicle repairs with you. They will inspect your vehicle to diagnose the problem and then contact you to advise you as to what their recommendation is to repair your vehicle.

OMG, Thrase Auto has been in business for over 50 years, my father used them in the 1970s and We recently sat down and had a conversation with Mr. Thrash as good men installed our driveshaft. If nothing else go by and visit Mr.Thrash. Hes a out right legend

Used them before about 20 yrs ago, used them this year of 2017 and very disappointed in their customer service and dont know about the quality because they havent even started my repair. They told me it was almost done come to find out they were lying!!! Never started the work. My suggest DONT TAKE IT TO THEM!! Go to CT instead, theyre way more professional. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

DO NOT GO TO THRASH!!! I just got my truck back from them, it sounds worse than when I brought it to them. They ruined my alarm, blaming it on the lift. Ive never witnessed such incompetence in my life. Charlie Thrash needs to shut that place down and retire. Now I have to pay someone else to fix what they screwed up!!!
