When you are ready to upgrade to a professional/semi professional bike. Plenty of models and accessories. At our time of visit their repair shop was on a waiting list, as well as many other bike shops we visited! A lot more people are taking up bike riding and other big box chains are low to no bikes for sale! Customer service was great and we were greeted and helped right away. Clean place with pleasant view and everything was well organized. Price range is reflective of the quality and warranty that you are getting. Thanks!

Searched all over San Antonio and this shop was the only one that had the size and type of bike I was looking for. As a novice they took the time to explain everything I needed to know and ensured the bike was set. Excellent staff and service.

The people were so nice and helpful. You could tell they really enjoy what they do and want to take care of the customers. They were extremely knowledgeable getting me set up with my bike and all the accessories.

They fixed the seat for me. I am 5 and need a lower bike.Oh I forgot to mention the mascot. The star of the show. A little boxer that is as wide as he is tall. A dog after my own heart. He greeted everyone and if the person didnt seem to want to be bothered he walked away, but if you were willing he sure liked to be pet.I will be returning and when my husband is in need of a new bike he is planning to get it there.

Our visit to Bike World (Southside) was excellent! Bikes are difficult to come by right now but they had stock that many others didnt (less now though). James Y. was extremely patient and helpful. The whole team got us taken care of, got the bikes tuned up and tricked out, and even helped us get them on the vehicle rack (no small feat). I HIGHLY recommend you go to them for your bicycle needs.

The store manager, Adrian, was extremely helpful in finding the right kind of bike for me. He answered all of my questions and helped this novice rider purchase her first bicycle in over 20 years. I would definitely recommend Bike World to anyone wanting to purchase a bike.

Trek and it’s brands are a staple in the cycling community. Plus, the warranty is assuring and one of the major reasons I wanted to purchase. Great products, but the service was amazing I wish I rembered na.es better. My wife and I went in there to buy 2 bikes. They did not have one her size, but i purchased one for me. They answered all my questions no matter how dumb they might have been. I will recommend to everyone for sure. We went to pedal power in san marcos after because they had a medium that fit my wife. I really wish bike world had one because the service we recieved at pedal power we will not be recommending anyone go there. Bought a trek bike there and he said they just checked everything the day before and it went through a tune up... highly u likely. Brakes are already squeaking on the second ride. Unfortunately we will be bringing it back to them for a free tu e up that is offered. I wish she could bring it to bike qorls along with mine. Great service and great experience with bike world. I recently purchased 2 bikes over the last 2 months, one from this store and the other from the 281 location . The staff at both were super friendly and willing to answer any of my questions (thanks Adrian & thanks Rich). The prices were competitive and they made sure the bikes were set up the way I wanted them and that I was completely satisfied before leaving the store. They have been just as supportive post purchase. I would definitely recommend this shop for you cycling needs.

Today Saturday 9-22-18 I drove from Houston Texas to San Antonio Southside to buy Marlin 7 2019 Trek. I called Trek asking if there was a dealership they would suggest to buy the New Marlin 7.First off the respect and customer service was more than expected from this Bike World Southside and very much appreciated. I call the day before asking if they would hold the bike. I told them i would be driving from Houston to purchase the bike. Very helpful. Gave me a detailed estimate of what parts would cost to fix my bike and when they would be able to do it.

Special ordered my bike at the beginning of the new norm in April and expected it in June but the factory was backlogged like everyone else. Was told it would be October but it showed up in August. Went to pick it up and was shown some fender damage due to shipping. Informed the replacement fenders were ordered and covered under warranty. Took the bike home and will return to have fenders replaced when they arrive. Appreciate the fact they were taking care of the issue before I got there and that I got to take the bike with me as I have been waiting what seems like forever to ride it. Cant compliment the staff enough for their work.The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and listens to what you are asking.These three things are hard to come by these days. Kudos Bike World!

I was really happy with my experience. Alex was the rep that helped me with the quote and then did the actual work on my bike. I own a cheapy Denali road bike I bought from Wally Mart back in 2013. I remember being somewhat disappointed back in 2013 when I first bought the bike there. It wasnt what I was expecting to be honest. But thats what you get when you buy a bike for 150 bucks. But after having it serviced by Alex, it was everything I imagined it should have been when I first bought it. It rode better than when I bought it Brand New. Alex has great customer service and he did a great job servicing my bike. As soon as left, I took it for a cruise and I rode it for a few hours. I was truly impressed. It was a great decision to choose bike world to fix it. I was very happy with the outcome. I will definitely be going back to get it serviced again. Shout out to Alex. Give that guy a raise.

Great place definitely has gotten better finally had some offroad mtb tyres knowledgeable staff always willing to help. As far as tech not the place for forks or frames as everything is by order only but still a great place to grab those nifty tools. Still wish it was a little more downhill friendly.

I love this shop. They are honest, professional, a good value, and extremely courteous! I went to a shop downtown with rude technicians and had to wait days for a small repair. Southside was a breath of fresh air. The shop is very clean and well-kept. They fixed my bike while I waited and were so nice! They did an excellent job with the repair and charged me a very fair price.

Incredibly fast service (just about an hour for a service request, just amazing) and the lead mechanic (I feel so bad, I cant remember his name. James possibly...) is always a delight to talk to. Prices are fair and just a very friendly place to walk into.

The employees here are by far some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. The technician and sales rep are both very knowledagle and definitely not trying to up sale their customers, but point them in the right direction for a fit that best suits them.
