Excellent experience. I have a boat trailer, heavily used in salt water, very corroded. Had trouble finding any trailer places that wanted to work on it. Aaron went over it with me, let me know what needed to be done, communicated well every step of the way. Even during the ice storm. They did what they said they would (and a bit more), on time, and under budget. One little hiccup (not unexpected with all the work they did) which they were right on, got it taken care of right away. The work was great, the price was very good & very fair, and the communication was above and beyond.

I went to Magnum trailers in the middle of the day and needed help with my trailer lights. Aaron checked all of my lights and fuses, the bulbs were the issue. Aaron recommended switching to marine grade trailer lights since they are being submerged in water often. They were able to switch out both trailer lights in 20 minutes. This was some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Since the switch I’ve had no issues with my trailer lights. I definitely recommend using Magnum trailers for any of your trailer needs.

I recently took my trailer (which was built by Magnum Trailer a few years ago) to have a winch mounted on it. I had numerous encounters with a young man named Aaron due to the fact that I didnt pay attention to detail and ended up ordering a completely wrong winch for the trailer which required coordinating pickup and returning of this origional winch. Then once the winch was received by the manufacturer, I had to reorder the correct winch and again Aaron was very prompt and professional in each and every encounter. We are still missing a part that is on back order but Aaron informed me that I will be notified by him once the part is received and he will finish the job at that time. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Aaron for any trailer needs.

Professional staff with expertise for all trailering needs

We use our trailer in everyday business. Due to a wreck, the hitch, back rail and lighting was damaged. The crew at Magnum got our trailer repaired and back to us in record time. We have used them for our trailer needs for 20 years and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Was not impressed with this place. The staff arent very nice and they act like we (consumers) need them more than they need us.... Well, Southwest trailers was right down the street and had a lot more options.

While shopping around for a trailer, I contacted Magnum and spoke with Aaron a few times over a span of a couple of days. He checked inventory and options with me but did not have the trailer I really wanted. I found the trailer I wanted in their San Marcos location but was not able to get it from there. With the help of Charlie at Magnum Austin, the trailer I wanted was brought to the SA location. I had given them all my info to get the paperwork started and as soon as I got there, Aaron had the paperwork and trailer ready. He even stayed for lunch to help me. Very glad on the whole experience here, i do recommend.

Purchased a 3 lock combo set for $70 that didn’t work out on my trailer. The next day I stood in line for 35mins before the man told me they would charge a 20% restocking fee to return it. I understand why a restocking policy is in place, but for something like this, I feel it is pretty ridiculous. So much for shopping local, guess I’ll go to TSC or Walmart next time.

Johnny along with everyone that I talked to at magnum trailers, seemed to be very knowledgeable on their product and were very professional. I was very pleased with how quickly they installed a gooseneck setup in my truck in 3 hours, Johnny was an awesome guy and truly was there to help so if you need anything at all go see Johnny he will take care of you!!

I bought a Magnum Trailer 12 months ago. Last Friday I had a blowout on IH35, which damaged the wiring for my brakes and trailer lights. Called Aaron at the San Marcos location and they had me in and out in 15 minutes. Great guys, great service!

I have received great advice and affordable parts on several occasions. They are knowledgeable and have always had the parts I needed on hand.

Really BAD customer service, I been walking around the lot and waiting for sales person to help me and nobody show up. I walk inside the store to ask for sombody to help me and the gentleman attending the register told me to wait for a sales person. 20 min. later he tells me that they are busy. He says that a can go back to the lot and check the tag on the trailers because they have the price on the tag. I been waiting in my car for 45 min and nobody show up. A guess Im going to take my business to San Marco at TRAILERS PLUS. Any ways they trailer I was looking for is a 5x8 and $500 less in San Marcos.

I had owned my trailer for 4 hours when the tire blew out and damages the fender. They refused to service it because they were short handed. So I had to repair it at my own expense and I have a 24 hour old damaged trailer. Avoid doing business with these guys at all cost. Theyll take your money fast but after that their customer service stinks!

You had a blow out because you ran over something in the road, it is clear to see when the inside of the rim is bent. and we did give you a free spare tire to get you going. we dont do road side repair. drive more carefully next time. and to the other guy no body waits in there car for 45 minutes to be waited on. that sounds absurd.

Took my Wells Cargo trailer in to get an estimate for some damage. The guy was very rude that came out to do the estimate, wouldn’t even tell me the price for the parts or how much they charge in labor. Said it was a $70 charge to put it down on paper. I’ll never buy another trailer from this place!!

I wore out my bearing and arrived just in time. The general manager came out and his first diagnosis was to replace the entire axiles. Supposedly the woren-out bearing wore out the axile. This diagnosis was done on my old bearing and the crown nut holding my tiered was lose. Huh? His entire sales speech was predicated on fear. Of course I said no. He wanted $3000 for two axiles. I Instructed him to change the bearing on both sidebof the back axile, new breaks and hubs. Miraculously, I had zero play (movements) on my tires. I bought a new set of parts and when I got home replaced the front axiles, on both sides in 1 hours after watching YouTube trailer instrctioons how-to video. His charge was about $300 in labor for both sides, one axile (axile not replaced) My cost 1 hours for the same work he did; my first time doing this. Axiles are very strong. You can bend then but to wear them out is very difficult. Lesson: buy the parts and have your mechanic change them or watch YouTube and do it yourself. This is not rocket science. Trailer axiles and breaks are basic mechanic work. Breaks plates, breaks, hubs and bearing are simple to install. Do an internet research and educate yourself. Otherwise, the big bad wolf will get you!
