Came here looking for a Yamaha outboard, dealt with Albert. They seemed good at first but lost the motor they were trying to sell me at first. Said theyd order in a new one honor the same price they had quoted me for the first one, then never got back to me. Ive sent emails and texts asking for an update or status on the order, was told theyd get back to me, and never received a followup call or email.I get that there might be issues or delays getting motors right now, but at the very least follow up with your customers and keep them in the loop. Lack of communication is frustrating.Update:The manager got ahold of me following this review and helped explain things, Albert sent me an email as well, so thank you for reaching out. They had an alternative in stock and Im looking forward to checking it out later this week. Will update again following that.Update:I went in on Friday, took a look at the outboard Darren had set aside for me, and went ahead on buying it. The financing guys here, along with Darren and Albert, all worked with me to get it done so my boat can get back on the water. Im happy with the purchase and will likely continue using them for my maintenance needs on the outboard, in person everyone was professional and friendly and really helped bring things around.
Austin boating customers take note: you can find these same brands in town if you dont mind paying 5-10% more. Or if you enjoy the condescending BS routine that seems to pass for customer interaction in that town. Take it from an ex-Marina owner and get the kind of service and satisfaction that was a standard when purchasing luxury toys but is now hard to find.
Every time I have asked for something like complete rewrite, maintenance, upgrading with accessories I have not been disappointed and the shop time has been good considering most places keeping off the water for long periods. In my experience with Terry and the guys they have treated me more than fair.Jesse AdamsBoat owner
They have my boat for a year and it is still not done yet. Two outboards and quoted price and quoted time. Now 10 months late, they want more money, tell me it will be done soon, and they are not doing the full repair! I cant wait, maybe it will be done in 2022.
SA VAPORS loves it here!Good people.
We have been dealing with premier for right at a year now and the previous service manager was not very good about following thru. Greg the new service manager has been great. Took the boat in to check the trim tabs that were not working and they got them done. We got on the water today and nada. So we got off the water and went straight to the shop. He had us pull straight in and the technician worked on it immediately. Found a bad fuse and changed it and made sure everything works. No charge, no trouble! We were very Impressed...thank you Premier Yamaha in Aransas Pass!!
Took 4 months to get boat back after I was told 2-3 weeks tops. And after that during pick up, not everything was addressed properly. Live well lid is warped and I was told “too bad put some weather stripping from a ax until to help” both live wells were leaking from the bottom. Filled yesterday. Still leaking nothing done. Fiberglass TTop was loose and screws stripped out of floor. Solution- put silicone on the screws cause silicone will hold a heavy TTop bouncing through waves down. Time to find a new dealer for service. Absolutely the worst. I’ve owned boat 11 months and 6 months they have had it for pretty minor issues. And they haven’t really resolved anything. They did resolve the cracked trailer but that’s a whole other list of issues. Bottom line nothing but issues with dealer NOT boat/ trailer/ motor. The keep your boat and don’t fix anything
Excellent service. Rep. was able to answer all my questions and more
Great customer service.
Great staff, very helpful to there Bennington driver.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Steve was not only personable and friendly, but very knowledgable of boats and motors. I took my Yamaha 150 to them because the Jack-plate would not move, and they fixed it in 5 seconds. Literally a flip of a switch. I enjoyed my experience and new friends. I will definitely use them next time, and I highly recommend them.
Good people and good service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They suck! And are a bunch of liars! You will be ripped off!!
DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT BUY A BOAT FROM THESE PEOPLE! Darrin, the GM, and Bruce, the Service Director, are both unfit to be in the position that they are! My husbands buying and servicing experience has been a complete nightmare since day one! There are other dealers in the area so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! VERY, VERY DISSATISFIED!
When there was a little snafu with my motor purchase, they were extremely helpful in straightening out the issue and getting the right one on order.
Very up to date sales staff. I appreciate all the time and information you gave me.
Very friendly customer service always on the ready to assist you. Pretty much OEM parts.
Great selection of accessories in stock that most other dealers would have to order !!Thank you Dustin !! Great job !
I bought a brand new boat from premier Yamaha in Aransas pass 5 years ago, had a bad experience day one of using the boat, took it to the San Antonio store and Andy took care of it quickly and made things right, since then I have only used Yamaha for all repairs and all maintenance. All good experiences. Recently took it in again for some repairs to have the prop redone and this is where the customer service changed. I was called and told the boat was ready for pickup, drove all the way to San antonio(I don’t live in San Antonio) to pick the boat up and was told that that work was complete but they found another issue that needs to be addressed, not a big deal but a phone call would have been nice so I didnt waste my time driving there, Bruce Told me the other issue which I’m glad they found because I don’t want to be stranded out in the water but this is where the problem started. He told me the steering tube assembly and bushings needed to be replaced. Gave me an estimated price and I said do it because it needs to be done to prevent other issues but when I asked how does this fail I was told that it’s because the motor I have is not designed for saltwater. I’m not a boat mechanic but I do have some common sense. I said well it’s a saltwater boat so why would premier Yamaha put a “freshwater” motor on it?? I understand saltwater is corrosive but how did water get in the sealed assembly that’s covered in Grease? He told me it’s just a bad design on Yamaha’s part and is a very common well known issue with these motors, he told me I could call Yamaha myself and discuss it with them(poor customer service for one), but I called them and they said they have never heard of this issues before....of course but they did say they wanted to talk to the Yamaha mechanic that’s working on the boat, I called Bruce back and gave him the guys number and extension to tell him what’s going on to see what can be done, don’t know if he ever actually called but he says he did. So nothing happened there, a week or so later I get a call from Bruce saying boat it ready for pickup, I drive back to San Antonio to pick it up and am looking over the work that was done and ask to look at the old parts, Bruce shows me that parts, when I asked what was wrong with them he didn’t know and gave gave me what sounded like a BS answer to get me back out the door, he said he would let the mechanic that did the work talk to me about it, then he came up(I forgot his name), he was a nice guy but when I asked what was actually wrong he said he was just told to change that part out and couldn’t explain to me what was actually wrong with the parts, I don’t mind paying for something that needs to be done but at this point I feel like I paid $1491 for repairs that may not have needed to be done because nobody can explain what was wrong with it. Very unsatisfied with this service and this company at this point. my whole experience this time was very disappointing and feel they were just out to get my money and when I would ask questions I was blown off. Another thing I asked was are the parts that were replaced upgraded parts to prevent this from happening again and Bruce said no they are the same factory parts, I asked so what’s going to prevent me from having to do this all over again in 5 years, he said nothing and that more than likely I will be back doing it again. To me that’s not an acceptable answer, showed me all they care about is making money. So then I go in the store to pay the bill, I paid it then asked Bruce what’s the warranty on the repairs, he said the labor warranty is 90 days, I asked what about the parts and he said I would have to call Yamaha for that. Why should I have to call Yamaha and ask the warranty when they didn’t do the repairs?? Very poor customer service. This should all be in writing on the invoice. $1500 later and Still have no idea what my warranty is. But Bruce did say that it “should” last longer than 90 days so I should be good. Really?? Highly disappointed and feel taken advantage of Would not recommend to anyone at this point
Not a happy camper.I was told a boat would be there for me to look at. I pack up my kiddo and 30k then head down to San Antonio from Austin. When I arrive they tell me that they sold it. ???? Say what? Not a courtesy call or a heads up?Watch out for the bait and switch here at this boat shop (pardon the pun)
This is a store that does their best to provide the best possible service to a rural community.
Such dope boats. Coolest Ive seen so far in San Antonio
They are very quick to respond and they helped me with my needs.
Albert is a #1 salesman. Great boats of all kinds
Nothing but problems. The boat and trailer wasn’t ready when we got there. A cushion blew off when they brought it from their other dealership, radio didn’t work, tires were terrible, and now I found out that the motor is junk. Hate this place.
Come get your Yamahas outboard fixed here
Great guys
Small dealer, friendly and responsive
