Love love love this place. Im a single mom on a waitress budget and these guys are honest and affordable. BIG BIG shout-out to my man JUAN in the back. Only mechanic I ever go to and I swear I feel like family . Hes the best and I just cant say enough great things about him. I go from minor tuneups to alternators to AC to freezeplugs and even 2 times for small body work where my daughter ripped bumper off backing out of driveway and hit the mailbox. I was to happy. Because one day I had to get my tire changed. So I put air in my tire at home and had my sister follow me. Then I got to this place. My sister waited well one of the young men fixed it. I did tip him well. But the next morning, I had the same tire with a flat. I wasnt a happy person. Because my sister had to take time and took me to work. So instead of going back to that location. I took it to a location where I know the boys. Ive known them since they were little 8, 9 and 11 yrs old. I was happy because I got up early on Friday and had a tire with air still.

The customer service there is not so great but the service they offered to your vehicle it’s good I’ve had trucks lift it up there and vehicles repaired they do a good job and offer a limited warranty they do understand English their products are mostly good I say that because some of the mufflers they offer Aren’t so great especially for the price but overall it’s a good place

Not a trustworthy mechanic at all ! They will charge you the most and still buy the cheapest part they can find. They fixed my fuel pump then only 3 months later I started having problems with it again so I hired a better mechanic and he told me they put the part on right but they bought the cheapest one which resulted in it breaking so fast and they left the evap hose unplugged !

Fyi they take credit cards!! 🎉 I usually avoid handling any type of tire repairs. Id rather wait patiently til the weekend so my husband can take my car. As a woman, I always feel intimidated and uncomfortable at tire shops for obvious reasons. Hernandez Tire Shop was really professional and I actually felt comfortable. I highly recommend them. Looks like Ill be handling my tire needs from now on.

All the employees look depressed and no one will approach you, you could park your car in the garage for an hour and no employee will even look your way. You have to talk to them like you are asking them out on a date.

Hernandez tire shop has always done a great job especially changing out my tires. they have always given me the best deals on certain brands of tires and of course if Ive ever need it a used one they had a reasonable price. I have not gone to them for anything else but they do have great customer service there you can always check to see what other types of services they have but thats mainly what I go for

I am soo sorry but my experience there was absolutely disgusting.. trying to go from one person and getting sent to another and another just to get indirect answers and cold shoulders.. I went to the shop because I just needed a quote about my rotors for my volvo and got the run around and even ignored.. thank you but no thank you

Great service fixing my tire

Understand this is a used tire shop, but we have gave this place plenty of business until their boss swapped out tires he had originally got for us for some badly used tires as if we wouldnt have noticed what we had agreed to. Never again will this place get my business.

Needed to get two temporary used tires. I didn’t ask his name but the guy that helped me informed me that I was missing two lugs on my rear passenger tire. And that my rim on my front passenger side was bent. I was wondering why my car would wobble at high speeds. Service was fast and tires were in great shape for being used. Appreciate y’all! Went in because I thought I needed an alignment and they had the best price. After looking at my vehicle he realized that it wasn’t an alignment I needed my two front tires had balls in them and it was causing it to pull one way. They gave me two new tires at a great price and the issue was fixed. Honest and friendly

Reasonable pricing simple and fast service. Bought 4 used tires.

I took my car to this shop to fix the leak around the oil pan, along with a tune up. A week later, my car is heavily leaking out of the rear main seal. I check the oil level and there are at least two additional quarts of oil. The oil clogged my pcv valve which caused the pressure to break the rear main seal. They took no responsibility for the mechanics mistake. I had to pay full price to replace the seal and they kept my car for two extra days. They kept denying they did anything wrong even though there was clearly too much oil and my pcv valve was clearly clogged with oil. If you are a woman, do not trust them. They used to be honest a few years ago but now they arent. The mechanic, Juan, isnt really a mechanic. He wasnt even aware that too much oil in a car will damage it.

Pretty honest, unlike the one down the street which is a national chain!!! They didnt do the work, but did explain why . My vehicle needed replacement of worn parts, and they just didnt want to take my money. That made a loyal customer out of me. I will never go back to Firestone ! Manager showed attitude. Need to to get ethics training!

A good place to get your tires fixed

Family owned company that doesnt try to price gouge you. Had some brake work done along with front shocks and their quote was almost half the price of the dealership, and they had all the work done the same day where as the dealership wanted to keep my car overnight. I just moved to SAT and I was skeptical about letting just anyone other than the dealer working on my car, but if this review helps anyone easy their minds about this place I guarantee they will not regret it.

Daniel is my hero right now. In this heat wave he fixed my AC thats been out for 4 months for a good price in under 3 hours. Ive also bought used tires here in the past and never had an issue. Watching others come thru also and seeing the service they get makes me recommend this place to everyone.

They opened up for this pilot car driver, fixed my tire very quickly, and got me back under my load early on a Saturday morning. I really appreciated the quick, friendly, professional customer service!

Go see Mere...he is always helpful... If you need to fix a flat tire or buy a used tire...I would not go to another place. This place isnt close to my area but worth the drive to save money on a used tire...I havent bought a new tire there...Im sure I would save money.

These guys seem fair and honest so far. Id definitely go back and recommend them to all of my friends. A good auto place is sometimes hard to find. They dont do everything but they do tell you the truth. Its worth the trip if you live on another side of town. Ive taken my Xterra in there recently and they replaced the harmonic balancer. Recently had some work done on my car there and every thing has turned out good. In the last Ive had upgraded headers installed, exhaust pipes, and everything is good. Went there about 3 days ago and there was a big line for the mechanic, they told me how long to wait and even though other cars came through they still remembered when I was going up next. The mechanic Daniel is real friendly and professional, really knows his stuff. Recommend this place

I had the front wheels on my 2003 Tundra aligned yesterday and I think they did a good job based on how the truck drives and feels now. But, when I asked for a print out that showed the specs before and after the alignment to get a comparison, I was told that no printouts are available because they had broken 4 printers. I asked to talk to the technician but he was not around either, so I still have no idea how bad the tires were before and how good they are now. Not a huge deal, but the excuse of a broken printer did not sit well with me. Just my $0.02.

Ive been using this shop for 12+ years and the guys are always professional, quick, and well priced. Over the years Ive had just about every service they offer performed : tire balancing, flat repair, rotation, mounting, alignments, and custom exhaust. Will stay a loyal customer.

Tried calling the store on Pleasanton Rd and they hung up on me three times. My first impression is horrible.

Stop to change oil. Very unprofessional and over priced should have went to Jiffy Lube or some other well established facility. my mechanic overfilled the oil and didnt even start check it afterwards. I had to do it myself in the parking lot. Place is a joke

This place has the worst customer service. I called the day before and was told to come in at 9 AM. When I do, I was told that the mechanic who would inspect my vehicle’s struts was gone to lunch or something. After sitting for half an hour waiting, I called and asked if he was back, they said he was. After another half an hour, someone walked out and told me that I would be seen soon, 15 minutes later, I left. On top of it all, 2 other vehicles were taken in while I waited. It’s obvious that all these people can do is waste potential customers time, and I still need to find a place to repair my car.

Bought new tires at a diffrent place took them to hernandez shop for balance and wheel alignment on a sunday since most shop where close. The shop was really busy they just went threw the motions didnt really balance wheels properly. Had to take it to another shop and they did it priperly. Dont recommend this shop on a busy day.
