Set an appointment online 2 days before for 12 noon. Arrived 10 minutes early. Gentleman checked me in, said they were just finishing up a vehicle and would be right with me. Left them my key and my phone number. One hour later my car was still in the parking lot. Bays were open. One employee was in an empty bay talking on his cell phone. I went in, got my key and left.

Manager was friendly. Didnt make me purchase more then I needed to. Other then waiting on a part so they could change my brakes, everything was great! Will definitely continue going to the Broadway location for future business!!

Brakes were in bad shape, went down hill very quickly. Jacob was really personable and definitely knows his stuff. Explained very well this issues, how it affected the life of my brakes, and exactly what I needed. Him and his crew worked hard and knocked out the emergency repair with excellent quality work. Not even a hint of squeaks or squeals. Very patient, and respectful, and kept the environment enjoyable while waiting. As soon as I got back in my car, at the first stop I knew I got the best service and work. Very impressed. Have more to do soon on rear axle and hands down will go here again for sure. I was a bit worried because even with not much car knowledge, I knew it was bad. I wasnt sure what to expect to be honest, so I was almost floored..like, thats it?! Mike went above and beyond for me! Got a whole brake job done and he drove all the way to sea world area to get me another pair of brake shoes because the ones he had in stock were making a noise just so I can be done same day! I had a scheduled appointment at another location when I arrived at the appointed time I was told they could not get to my car today and I would have to come back on another day. I called the Austin highway location and they took care of my break needs at 3:30 on a Sunday and they close at 5. That to me is professionalism. Thank you

June 2021 - September 2021$500 and 7 whole hours(730 am appt to about 4 pm pick up) (for a 3 hour max job) later and I drove off the lot not knowing that their technician had resurfaced the rotors to under allowable spec and messed up some caliper pistons in the process of putting my truck back together. Within one week my brakes were super soft and squealing to no end.I took it to the closest BC by my work and they called me and said, your rotors are old and well below where they should beI told them no theyre relatively new and BC on Austin Hwy resurfaced them last week.Brake checks tech said, well then they resurfaced them out of spec based on the measurements in the system and theres some failing pistons in the calipers that wouldnt be possible without messing with them physically.The second repair cost me $600... to fix the $500 repair that wasnt done properly.Lastly, I got an alignment at the first appointment that i never received the alignment details from after requesting with corporate multiple times after the rotor debacle.Two months later and I have been in contact with corporate but with very little response except one phone call. Its like they dont want to respond to emails because then it would leave a paper trail.You will be paying to fix what they sell you, no matter what it is. Getting new brakes? Youll be in the shop within a couple weeks getting another set of new brakes, hopefully this will warn you off of Brake Check.

AMAZING customer service, the mechanics payed so much attention to detail on my vehicle n taught me things that as a driver I needed to know, I’m driving cross country n I’m glad I stopped here. Honestly for the service and the price it’s very great that I’m upset these aren’t the people on ft sam instead of Firestone cus they actually care. Honestly just keep doing what ur doing and definitely expand cus Nyc needs places like this that doesn’t scam people. Maybe put a fan in the waiting room though, Texas is hot haha. 10 stars from me.

Mike at the Austin Highway location is a rock star! I honestly can’t remember a time when I had better, more conscientious or courteous service from a car repair shop. Truly first rate!

Manager, Mike, was met with multiple obstacles to get my var fixed, and he exceeded every single one of them as well as my expectations. Him and his crew were very professional, polite, and gave me all of my options up front. He was very open and knowledgeable about what could be done. Absolutely amazing and stellar service. I have yet to visit aplace that even compares to this one. I was amazed!

Made appointment, was never serviced. Came in early to make my appointment on time. After signing in and providing my information, I handed over my keys.45 minutes later my vehicle was yet to be moved. The 4 vehicles in the bay that I could see were sitting there not being worked on. The most work I saw was a technician throw away a set of used brake pads.Total waste of my time.

These guys are the real deal. Never once did any other service station think to check my filter for my AC problems but these guys did. They also got me great deals on oil changes and were actively communicating with me. Definitely go here!

I took my BMW X3 to brake Check and they did a thorough inspection on my brake and informed me that the brakes are in good condition but it needs flushing the brake oil. I also asked Mike to check a weird problem that I noticed after replacing four tires, I heard some whizzing sound from the right back tire area. It is weird because the noise can only be heard when engine is hot and it does not happen most of the time. Mike tried but was unable to reproduce the problem. He promised to run a full inspection at no cost if the noise becomes consistent. It is rare that a mechanic goes that length to help his customers. I will take my car to Brake Check when I encounter problems.Eric Yuan

Got my vehicle in first thing Friday morning and was done before noon. Cost for necessary repairs were reduced as mechanic did not see reason to replace a part. Great experience all around.

Wow 👏 ~ nothing but an exceptional experience here. Rex performed installing a new brake booster and car is in tip top shape now! Reasonable pricing and absolutely attentive communications the whole way through the process. I live closeby and toddler mama without the ability to grab the car in the same day it was done & they literally delivered it to my apartment complex. That was HUGE for us! I made an appointment online...I received a confirmation e-mail and text.An hour before the appt. I received another e-mail and text telling me my bay was reserved. When I got there, right on time, the bays were all full and they were unable to even perform an inspection that day! Guess Ill take my business elsewhere!!!!

They replaced shocks and oil change. Feels good.Mike and Brandon always helpful and polite. A few weeks later everything they did or was supposed to do isnt working. Not very happy Took it back three times. Guys who worked on it were not there. Every day vehicle for work ca not leave it there for week at a time. Not Happy.Update. Was able to drop off. They made all repairs necessary. Replaced some parts. I drove it for two days now. Feels much better. A C working good. Updated score.

Mike Lara is a very positive and patient guy. I always have a hard time trusting mechanics. Especially not being from SA. But he explained everything step by step and how to resolve my problem.

Stopped by this Monday morning because my car had been making a weird noise from the brakes! They were open early 930 and they did a full inspection for free even though I did not have an appointment and had just drove in from Houston. Anyways after the inspection, it turned out I did not need new brake pads or rotors. And one of the caliper pins was seized so they just greased it and sent me happily on my way!! Would definitely go back there for any work I need done on my vehicles, without a doubt!!!

They are very thorough in there inspections I didnt realize my vehicle need $500 worth of work on just my breaks. Theyll give you the run down on what is what and what need to be fix. So I used there inspections results and did most of the work myself and the things I wasnt able to do i took my vehicle in to be worked on.
