Don’t come here if you want to wait more than a month to get your glasses… my daughters order was ready since 7/30 (it’s 8/25 today) and they never once thought to give me a call to say they are in the store when I had called multiple times. It’s so unacceptable especially if you see they have been there for so long you don’t think to call the customer because hello they need glasses to see!!! 0/10 experience

From when I entered and left the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Bonnie helped me at the Mayan location. The frames are very beautiful and there are a lot of choices. I did not feel rushed. Bonnie even help me understanding what my mothers insurance took care of. I took my mother back and Bonnie was able to help her as well. Also, my glasses came in earlier than anticipated. The store is very clean. There is social distancing and mask up. They do check your temperature as well. So it was safe for these times that we are in. Went in this afternoon to pick out glass with a new prescription. Bonnie greeted me the second I walked in, took my temperature and asked what I was in for. Told the lady my daughter was having her eye exam across the street and she would be along shortly to help me pick out my glasses. I asked her if she could go over my insurance benefits and maybe get started so wed have that out of the way before my daughter got there. Bonnie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We wound up walking around and she was able to help me narrow down a few selections to about 7 and once my daughter got there she would help me decide. But Bonnie suggested one more.....and it was THE ONE!!! I was so excited to be able to get all this done in such a short time. I have ADD so the thought of going through all those walls of glasses was very stressful. Bonnie is great! She is an asset to the store, very friendly and I didnt feel rushed or pressured in any way. Cant wait to go back in to pick up my new glasses. I also want to add, in addition to having a LARGE assortment of styles and prices to choose from, the store was very clean, they sanitize the glasses that you try on, every was masked up. I felt that they took every ones safety and health into consideration but carried on business as usual. I highly recommend them and will go there again. Ask for Bonnie and she will steer you in the right direction! :)

I went a week ago to get my glasses. The woman who assisted me was so nice. But I called to just check if my glasses were available yet, and whoever I got on the phone had an attitude and asked me if I had received the text that they are ready and I advised I have not. The lady then said okay then their not ready... like okay. A simple no maam would have sufficed. I am hoping the customer service is not like this when I actually have to pick up my glasses. Which were very expensive by the way. But I paid the amount because the service was excellent. After the phone call Im doubting whether I made the right choice in choosing vision works.

Today I took my son to Visionworks at 1936 S. W. Military Drive. Sandra went above and beyond by making sure that we received the best service. There was an issue with my vision insurance that was reflecting not eligible. Sandra looked into the issue on her computer and found the new update on my insurance. Sandra also spoke to the Davis Vision insurance representative that had asked to speak to Sandra on my cellphone. I was able to tell that Sandra had many years of work experience as she had knowledge on reading the prescription with changes that were made from the last prescription. Sandra also explained that his old frames were still in good shape and we could get new lenses for them as a back up. We bought a pair of eyeglasses with lenses and back up lenses. Sandras positive attitude and great customer service was greatly appreciated. When my son and I walked out of the store I told him that I was glad that lady help us.

Always great service and great glasses! I have been bringing my family here for years and I am never disappointed! Friendly staff, great specials, and they always give the best advice to save you the most money! With insurance or without, they have your back. Highly recommend!

I love this location! I went in looking for glasses and couldnt decide which frames looked best on me. Customer service was so horrible, especially because this was MY FIRST JOB . I simply walked in to try on frames so after me and my husband received eye exams we were going to purchase. She literally said were y’all going to purchase or not, I said no we’re just trying to find frames, didn’t offer to help frame style ask what we were looking for NOTHING @ 8:03 she said well we’re closed. Like basically if ur not buying get out..She said the managers name is Sandra, I believe her name is Gina. I personally worked with Sandra and she has superior customer service. To the “optician” that helped me when customers are in store before u close u don’t rush them off. Especially when I was ready to make a huge purchase!

Went to visionworks for the first time today and was very pleased with our service! We were greeted right away and Shelby was awesome with helping us with our lenses and she explained what we needed and prices and options we had. The staff was all very friendly and even understanding when our 6 month old had a blowout in the store when most employees at stores would be annoyed and think they have to clean it etc. We are also going to get our glasses in 2 days so the timing is going to be amazing! Super excited to get them!

Came in to order glasses and contacts. Seen the eye doctor next store they were awesome. When we came to pick out my frames and order contacts. Sandra was so helpful I had no clue how my insurance worked but she helped me understand and get the best deal out of pocket. They had such a great selections of frames and discounts. Right now they have buy one get one free. I will be using them for my vision needs form now on.

Selection was good. But they only have two people working and every time the phone rang she would get up to get it. I felt like I didn’t matter. Went to the Visionworks in San Antonio Tx and the ladys there were very helpful and knowledgeable on helping me get new glasses.

Well not only did my eyesight change drastically, my insurance wouldnt cover it. However thank goodness for SANDRA, who not only made the process smooth, she made sure I didnt spend an arm and a leg, since this was going to be out of pocket transaction. AND just 3 days later, I have my new eye wear!! I can see clearly now!!

I would have loved this place if they would tell the truth when u r buying everything from there. 1st time my lens shattered with no reason but was told it was due to extreme heat. 2nd time was told insurance only covers the lenses once....should have had more information on the insurance and what it covers

Horrible! Seriously this place charges an arm and a leg for glasses and charge for every little thing. Been going here and just realized Sams and Walmart have the same quality glasses for way less. I paid at Walmart what I paid here for 1 pair for 3 pairs. Never again will i go here. So expensive and this place has the rudest people working

I went to americas best to get glasses cause that is where my insurance is covered and i had the worse experience ever they were very unprofessional they were on there phone and didnt even acknowledge me so i decided to go across the street to visionworks and the associate relisa greeted me right away and help me find a pair of glasses and i didnt only get 1 pair but 2 for the price of 1. All i have to say is thats the place to go if u need glasses.
