It was the breakfast tacos for me!Made a quick visit to San Antonio in order to evacuate for Hurricane Laura and ate at this place twice for breakfast. There was a good size drive thru line both times I went.I really appreciate their online order/pick up option. Prices were decent and the food was good, not greasy. The key ingredient to breakfast tacos is the hot sauce if you ask me, and theirs was on point!To me the donuts were okay, they werent great. But then again I ate around 11:30 so maybe got the leftovers...? Ill give them another try when I am around.**Their curbside service didnt seem too effective. I ordered online and then text the number once I arrived and never got a response or my food. I had to pull in at the front of the building and shortly after someone came up to my car asking if I had an order. Was irritated about this at first considering the time I waited, but was quickly soothed by their breakfast tacos and had a better experience the next time I went.

Wow! This place is as authentic as they come. Great breakfast tacos...any variety you can imagine. Home-made tortillas. Awesome donuts. Very friendly staff. Fast service. There were more than 12 cars in the drive thru line and several customers inside, but it still only took about 5 minutes to get our food. We sat outside on their large patio. I wish I lived closer to this place, I would be here a few times a week. A must visit if youre in the San Antonio area.

The staff is still great.. tacos and menudo outstanding..but lately the donuts are shrinking and the quality is dwindling. Don’t mind paying for great donuts, but they are no longer the best donuts in town… and they have become overpriced. Please tell me this is not the end of an era …and can be corrected…I’ve been a loyal customer for over 40 years.. It saddens me to be saying this words…because my kids and I love this place…kick it in gear !! Wish you only the best..

Mmm! The toasted bean-and-cheese taco is legit (you can add bacon also!), and the Carne Guisada has just that twinge of spice that makes it such amazing comfort food! Absolutely earned every star!

Well this place is Pressure. So good. I got Carne guisada with cheese. The meat is tender the gravy is very tasty and the homemade tortillas are Super Bueño. Very nice Staff and they have amazing donuts as well I got donut holes and some glazed donuts that were very light and had a lil crunch that was a good thing like the edges. drive thru was insane but went in and ordered and didnt take long . So if you dont know now you do. Go check it out and support local.

Co worker took me for lunch. I had the special, Enchiladas Verde...it was flavored really well. I was ready for a nap after...sign of a great meal! Also had the bacon maple donut. Good as hell. Would definitely come here again.

I Loved the donuts here. But the place was crowded. It had more than one entrance/exit n drive thru u can order good size breakfast tacos with handmade flour tortillas they also had menudo. Its a One stop shop if u cant decide on breakfast with outside seating in back

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. So good, so fresh. I didn’t have their donuts but the breakfast tacos were delicious. Tortillas are made fresh. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos, expecting them to be small, but they were loaded with so much eggs/potato/cheese that I could barely eat two! Unfortunately I live all the way in Ohio and can’t have these on a regular basis, or else I’d be there almost every day.

A bit pricey 3 bean and cheese and 2 carne guisada w/ chz was $14 and some change. With that being said the food is great! You pay for quality and the inside was squeaky clean!

The taco and the customer service was the worst. I ordered a taco of carne guisada and the meat was so tough. They said I trespassing and were calling the police. I have all my original teeth and the lady used a knife to cut the meat. My teeth are not made of steel.God bless them this is Gods battle. This is a very successful business and they cannot throw away not one taco. Unfortunately they never called the police. I know the police would have been on my side and made them give me my money back at least.

Really good tacos they still make them the old school way most places now obviously have cheapen on the quality and donuts are easily the best around. ignore the negative comments they are probably just trying to get free food or just snobby maybe both.

Trying this spot for the first time and not impressed at all. Chicharrón tacos taste like they have tomato sauce in it and the carne guisada taco taste boring even with hot sauce. Prob taste better if I was drunk!!!

The food is good but the service is absolutely awful. The line isn’t around the block because the food is anything out of this world, it’s because they’re so slow and get orders wrong. I’ve been here countless times with issues, even at 6AM when the line is short.

Donuts warm and yummy. Tacos stuffed delicious tortillas. My only concern was the mosquitos under the table in the area by the patio indoors. They kept biting at me we saw them flying around when I kicked from getting bitten several times . Left me wondering how they got in probably the ac unit that was off above us.

I went in today to eat a Taco to eat there. I noticed that the server was using gloves and instead of serving the food, she went to the side of the counter and took a bite of a taco she had there. She didnt even bother throwing away the gloves and get new gloves. She used the same gloves that she used to bite into her taco. That is very unsanitary and with the pandemic going on its unsafe. Please be careful if you are going to buy food here. I am very upset because I always come here, but after seeing what I saw I am not going back.

Great place for tacos. They have a drive through or you can park in their parking lot. As you go in you order at the cash register. Then you can sit down at any open table and wait until your number is called. You pick up your food close to the cash register. Good mom and pop shop. The food is made fast.

Fantastic food and experience. All of the tacos we tried were above expectations, fresh, flavorful and quick. Also got a cake donut which was deceptively good and a coffee. Sat outside to eat and that atmosphere was even great, calm, clean and no rush to eat and move out. Prices were all fair too.

Tacos were amazing. Tortillas were so fresh like homemade. Lines seem to always be long on the weekend in the drive thru and inside so expect to wait 20-30 mins at least. Food was well worth the wait though

This is one of the first thing must haves I have when I have been away from SA for a bit or one of the first things I order when I am hosting visitors. Be prepared or a car long to order - but it moves quickly and is well worth it ! Bean and cheese is my favorite but Barbacoa on the weekends with their menudo and Big Red special IS TO DIE FOR ! They also take cards now - so you don’t need cash

Carne guisada never disappoints. Tender meat. Pepper in sauce is a smooth ratio/taste. Prices for the tacos a little steep, but you get what you pay for. Tortilla was plumping and fresh. 4 tacos, 2 bottle sodas was $18 and change. Staff was working in synch. Hot sauce and beef gravy was top notch.

They need to get a bigger place in restaurant its always packed on the weekends and weekdays for the tacos early in the morning and needs help and stuff and bigger restaurant.. the prices are a little high on the tacos but are still delicious

The best donut shop in San Antonio...period!! Arrive early because there will be a line and they do sell out. Bakers start making the donuts from scratch every morning at 2am. Frosting and fillings are also made from scratch. Apple fritters are a must try.

Dont do it, not worth it!! Expectations were high after all of the positive reviews and we were greatly disappointed. We ordered online with a 40 minute pickup time, waited 20 minutes in line, and then the food wasnt even made! They made it fresh on the spot, but the quality was lacking and could have been easily emulated at home by a 5 year old. It youre wanting authentic breakfast tacos, dont go here.

This place has some of the best doughnuts and breakfast tacos around !! They are so hot n fresh. The parking is kinda tight and fills up quickly. They have two drive throughs, the left one is for doughnuts and the right one is for everything else.

While the donuts were good, the drive through needs work. I was there today and waited in line for about 30 minutes, as I got closer in line, 2 other cars tried to cut in front of the line from the street, cutting off traffic on the street... One car tried to cut me off completely! Almost caused an accident! Inside workers flag her to pull into the parking area and she leaves with her order long before I get to place my order! Did I get any special treatment? An apology? No. But the cutter got quick service. So to make things better, lines need to be more distinguished. Maybe add cones or something directing traffic? Or outline the line?? Will I be back? Probably not.

I was like no I dont want another hair in my donut, didnt give me a refund but instead another donut. I guess they dont believe in hair net because no one was wearing any.
