Feeling a little misled. We signed a contract for 5 windows in May, standard windows, no arches or anything fancy. Its now almost the end of October and we still dont have any windows. Just called today and was told they are still in production. The front office is very nice, the salesman was kind too. I understand that COVID effected many businesses but this is A LOT longer than I was told. Originally it was 10 weeks, then 12-14, Im currently at week 21 with nothing to show. Called and the office said they are currently installing windows for April contracts. We are moving this summer and I thought getting windows a year in advance would be okay. DO NOT buy windows right now unless you want to wait a ridiculous amount of time. Hopefully we get some pretty windows to showcase or at least use before we move.

I spent more than I originally planned for, and I had to wait longer than expected because of the supply chain problem, but the installation was great and the product was well worth it! These are very versatile, well-made windows that I think will last many years! I am very pleased with my purchase!

I had all the windows in my house replaced. The home was built in 1939 and they were able to replace the windows without harming the wooden trim around the original windows. They laid plastic down to protect my floors and cleaned up, including vacuuming, after themselves. Everyone was friendly and professional. I LOVE the new windows and keep walking around my house looking at everything in the “new” light. My house is so much brighter and quieter now. I have re-fallen in love with my house all over again. Thank you!!

Your installers were great. It just took forever to get our windows 8 months to be exact. But they are beautiful.

2 years ago Window World replaced half of the windows in my home and they look great. The quality of the actual windows is top notch.However when they installed the windows they did not seal the small window in my kitchen correctly and overtime water has gotten into and damaged the housing, the molding and even the drywall. I called window world to ask about their WARRANTY and they told me there was NO COVERAGE and that I as the homeowner was responsible for caulking the housing around the windows.I had two contractors come out and look at it and they both commented that the sealing around the housing on the window wasn’t done correctly, they commented that it looked like half-baked work.The only reason I am posting this (I have never left a review for any company ever) is because when I called they did everything they could to dismiss my concern and were extremely rude in regards to their customer service.Window world messed up my home, got their money and now they don’t want to remedy their mistake.BUYERS BEWARE!

Components they installed are high quality, without the high cost. Installation crews are second to none! The jobs were completed quickly and professionally. They even took the time to spin us up on all the features of the windows and doors. I could not be happier with the product and the installation. Office staff is polite and professional, they really take the time to make sure things get to the right people and were instrumental in getting everything coordinated for our installation. Whoever reads this, know that I truly appreciate you and I cant say enough about how well the job was done. Thanks again!

They called after a cancellation to schedule me in for the 3 patio doors I ordered. Took less time than they expected and everything looks wonderful. Second time using Window World and wont be the last.

After several quotes for storm windows we decided to go with Window World. Tim who came out to do the quote was honest and not pushy, overall great to work with. Joe and his crew who did the install were professional and fast! Other than our rotten exterior trim there was zero damage to my home. Even replacing the windows where there was tiling went beautifully. So happy to have storm windows throughout the top floor of our home. It has cut down on outside noise as well as heat getting in. Love them! Cant wait to update the main floor windows next.

We love our windows. When we had them installed the installers were very kind and kept the mess to the minimum. This was back in 2016, fast forward to 2021 and we still love our windows. Our back sliding glass door was hit with a rock and shattered one of the panes. I called them and they ordered me a new pane. They are so easy to deal with. Now lets talk price, back in 2016 they charged us 375 per window, even a window that used to be 2 windows that opened up and down, now it is one window that opens left to right. We have 6 windows and one sliding glass door. I dont remember what our total was, but it was about a third of what everybody else wanted. These have kept our older house very cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I highly recommend Window World.

After reading all the positive reviews and the sales pitch being a home-run, my wife and I were excited to get the windows installed. I completely understand the supply shortage and that things were delayed, but what I dont understand is how glass ended up in my daughters bed and cut her hand when she got into the bed. I do understand how one of the windows in the master bedroom was measured inaccurately, people make mistakes and that is not a problem, what I am concerned about is the fact that we were still charged and whether or not that window gets fixed is up in the air, with the supply shortage and all. I am by no means a person that writes negative reviews, but this process was very stressful, and the amount of glass that was left in my house after the install was ridiculous. I will say that quality of the windows that were installed is good, but the customer service and job site etiquette leaves a lot to be determined.

Job not finished, job not even started. Gave a deposit 5 months ago and windows still not in yet. Is anyone else seeing massive delays like this? Is this COVID related, or just dragging feet? 13OCT21 Edit; Install mostly went great. French door didnt fit, and one window should of been obscure glass, and one window didnt fit.

Both sales and service were extremely professional and the final product looks fantastic! The only downside was that their supply lines were delayed because of the pandemic and the original estimate of 3 months became 5 months delayed. However they kept me informed and communicated new schedule during this time.

From start to finish window world was a class act. The quote was easy and very reasonably priced. The windows were installed and they are beautiful (better than expected) and instantly noticed the difference in sound. Positive this will help my AC and heating bill. Tomas and the crew arrived and worked methodically installing 14 windows (the whole house) in one day - even though they had scheduled two days to complete this task.They were polite, professional, and courteous throughout the day.The windows are wonderful and we expect them to last decades in our home. The price was so affordable, we had the entire house done when originally we planned on only key often-used windows be replaced.

So far our experience has been good. Rocky at first but has improved. We are still waiting on the installation but everything is delayed due to the pandemic. We should have the installation finished by mid December. Excited for the new windows. Will update after installation.

Replaced all the windows in our home. We had 27 windows and changed out several to picture windows so had to have 23 installed. The installer Victor was amazing and very professional. It was a big job and took a little longer than expected but the results were wonderful. We couldnt be happier. I would use Window World again and hope that Victor was the installer as well. He was fantastic.

The windows took a good while to come in, but we were made well aware of this when we ordered. There were several calls and updates while we waited. They were good about scheduling the installation once the windows arrived. The install crew was clean, thorough, and professional. Overall it was a great experience. The sales person Jordan was the best.The delivery of the windows was incredibly slow. 7 MonthsEven when they received the windows it took over a month to get an installer to put them in. COVID impacts. There couldve been better communication from the main office. Email, text at lest something.The installers were good...they could have cleaned up a little better but they worked their tails off getting them installed and I am already noticing that my A/C runs less.Id give 4.5 stars but it wont let me.

Well worth the money. We got ours windows installed in our house ten days before the 2020 February ice storm and were without electricity for 8 days. Our house never got below 68 deg. We have a small wood burning stove but if we had not have had the new windows we would have been a lot cooler.

The installation crew was fantastic! My only complaint is we were told 10 to 12 weeks from order date to installation and they missed that by 7 weeks (19 weeks from the time we ordered). Our new double hung windows with full screens are great.

My new door is beautiful and the installation was very smooth. There was one small problem and they came back promptly to fix the issue. I will definitely use this company again!

The initial quoting process was detailed and complete. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the product. He was also responsive to concerns during installation. Other than minor miscommunication on color of sliding doors installed, job well done. Installing contractor was very helpful and responsive as well. If this rating was just on the gentleman that came out to measure for the window, or just for the installers, I would be giving Window World a Five Star Review. But, this review is for the business itself and for that I’m only giving three stars.We ordered our single window in January 8 with Ingemar who came to our house and was friendly, professional, and courteous. He told us our window would be manufactured and should be in around the end of February.The last week of February I called Window World and the young lady who answered the phone couldn’t find our order and said she would call us back.I waited a week and she didn’t call so I called again. After quite a bit of tapping on computer keys the young lady (I think it was the same one) found our order, but it was not in yet. She said they would call us in another week or so.I waited two more weeks and called back, a different lady answered the phone and said she was in another location so couldn’t look up our order, but would take a message and have them call us back.After five days I called them back again, and we were finally able to schedule the installation of our window.Now, I know we “only” has one window installed, so we weren’t exactly on their high priority list. But I also believe we should have been treated more courteously and timely. We never once received a phone call from the business itself except in the very beginning when they wanted to sell us windows, although we did receive phone calls from both the initial sales person and the installers.Speaking of courteous, the installers came the third week of March and they were being courteous and downright friendly. I couldn’t have been more pleased with their work or their professionalism. Really nice gentlemen.

We recently had Window World replace our front door and were super happy with the process. Due to covid it was a bit slow, but they were clear with what to expect from the beginning. The installation quality was top notch and we couldnt be happier! We also had our windows done a few years ago and are still really happy with them as well.

I understand that reviews are not always accurate but the amount of positive reviews in the upper 400s would suggest it is a decent business to work with. I tried the online free consultation form to submit it and had no luck so, I just called them instead. No problem. Called and spoke to Rosie and she was pleasant but forwarded me twice to get a quote for one window that was damaged due to the hail we just recently had and the second time it was a success; first time I was hung up on. So I spoke to this gentlemen who explained to me that yes they do replace one window and the online form probably does not work because they are booked about two months out. Then he said, Soooo, what did you want? I was taken back because Im obviously calling about replacing my window. I proceeded to tell him, then he cut me off and said, and keep speaking faster as if I was interrupting his time, You want a quote? I can do that right now. I said yes and he said one window would cost $1,000 to replace and will take about 12-14 weeks. Before I could reply back he told me, it costs more because it is just one window because they need to measure it and make the window from scratch and so on and so forth....but it your price would be lower if you did more windows of course so since you are replacing one and then I interjected that I was not needing to replace more than one. Im not going to purposely break more windows to replace which he then began talking over me. I waiting for a very brief moment then asked, why would he suggest for me to replace more windows and then he did a deep teenager like sigh of annoyance. Then I just cut him off and proceeded to simply express their business is not as good as their ratings are online and hung up. The big picture would be, go to work to work and if you are bothered by helping customers with their questions, get off your device that is taking your attention away and conduct yourself in the utmost professional manner. Not sure how accurate their reviews are in terms of validity and if someone just ask their friends to write them but I will ensure that I do not allow my friends to use this company.

Window world stands by their windows we found some windows that needed replacement and called them up they took the S/N of the windows we needed repaired they came and installed the damaged panes and looked to see if I had missed any others in fact I had so they went and ordered the new panes for the windows I could not be happier with Window World very satisfied with them I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

We had some issues with our storm doors, however, the owner contacted us directly, set out a tech asap and rectified the situation. That customer service was very much appreciated. Our windows are our favorite investment in our home and made a HUGE difference in the Texas summer and during the winter storm.

BEWARE! I have been trying to get my window install finished for 5 days now. My home was left exposed. NO communication, Lies, Excuses and a complete disregard for their customers. I would not recommend this company. To be continued lets see IF and WHEN they complete my install!UPDATE: Windows have been installed but one window is broke and I was informed it will not be in for over a week. Several windows are not sealed correctly, and capping is damaged and not installed correctly. At this point, 10 days later, my job is not complete. The job was supposed to take one day per my contract.UPDATE: Windows were finally completed yesterday 7/17/19. Several screens need to be redone but I was told I could take them into their shop to get them redone.Paid full price even though it took over a month to finish the job that is not to my standards but I guess to theirs!

I had three patio doors replaced by Window World and I could not have asked for a better experience. Elia (sales rep) was so kind and straightforward. Very responsive and helpful with the purchasing process. Ron and Chase came for my install and were clean, quick and efficient. The project was scheduled for two days and they finished in one! The doors are beautiful and they made sure everything was perfect before they left. Been a couple years since they installed. Had all but one bathroom window replaced (regretting it now wish I had done that one too) Wow what a difference during this last weather event. Although I went with the windows for ease of open close, With the power outages my house only dropped 3 degrees vs my neighbors who had not upgraded experienced a 10 to 15 degree change in the same outage period. It took a while for the windows to be manufactured, but the installation went very quickly and professionally. Removing the old windows can cause damage to the Sheetrock in the jambs. I was impressed with how little damage was caused by the window removal. They did everything possible to allow a clean removal. The new installation was very quick. They clean up afterward. We are very pleased with the price, installation and warranty.

We LOVE their windows we had installed in our home. Cant say enough about the high impact resistant windows. When that hail storm hit a few years back. Our windows took a beating and Never cracked. The experience with Window World was really easy and quick. We had to wait about 6 weeks for our windows to be made and then they were installed in about 5 hours! Got a quote from another company, had heart failure, then some friends told us to call Window World. The salesman (Danny) was great, the price was great, and the installation team (led by Justin) was very professional. My son said the impact on cold nights in his room is very noticeable. We purchased our home during the pandemic and noticed one of the double hung windows didnt hold up on its own. Thankfully this company is super cool and transferred over the life time warranty to me. Unfortunately due to pandemic it took a couple months to get the part but once it finally came it they called me up and got to my place at my earliest convenience. Chris and Cesar came to my place within the quoted time period and got to work. Not only did they go about fixing the window, they put together extra parts in their truck to strengthen it so it wouldnt happen again. They then went ahead and took care of the other two huge windows I have so that I wouldnt have this issue in the future. These guys went way above and beyond. I never thought much about windows before but if I ever decide to get another place or upgrade my windows Im definitely going here. If youre on the find about this place so thinking and go. Its guys like Chris and Cesar who are gold and if this company is half as good as those two then you are in great hands. Whoever their boss is should give them a big fat raise.

The entire experience was great. The cost of the windows was considerably less than the competitors. I was worried about the installation because I thought it would be a mess but it wasn’t at all. The crew that installed the windows were great. Renae, Anthony and Eric were professional and respectful through the installation process. I don’t seem to hear as much noise from outside and I feel like the house is sealed better. They look really good too. I would recommend Window World to anyone and I would ask for Renae’s crew for installation.

Part #1 review for 2019-The installation went absolutely better than expected thanks to our design consultant Dennis Heaviland who never pushed unnecessary upgrades or enhancements. Kudos to the 2-man crew (Nevaldo & Jacob)who worked constantly and effeciently while stopping to instruct and explain each step as needed. Most impressive is this was a 13- window project completed in 2-days. They were friendly and very conscious to clean as they completed each area. The windows are clean beautiful and easy to maintain. WindowWorld still provides support even after putting in 13 windows and a complete patio door set for us almost 2 years ago See my review above) . The installed Patio door came with a stylish, reliable sturdy locking handle. But we since desired an additional patio lock that could easily be engaged, not take away from the simple ethics of the design and enhance the existing locking system. They came up with a easy solution that I could DIY myself without causing any cosmetic damage nor void my warranty on the patio door. By using only my foot it allowed me to lock and unlock the mechanism with my foot and even open the patio door few inches and still lock in place! The wife was also happy which always confirms a good choice by a smart hubby(LOL) . But seriously I would and have suggested my friends and family members to give WW a close look when going down the list of possible window replacement companies or contractors stationed in San Antonio. Window are easy to maintain and help with conserving energy and look great!

Window World TXs approach to selling their product is like no other. Their price is set and the sales presentation was straightforward. We were really impressed with the knowledge of the salesman and his experience with the company. We ordered our windows near the end of October and they were delivered mid-December, which exceeded our expectations. We just got our windows installed 2 days ago so its difficult to comment on how well they help maintain temperature in the home. The casement of the windows are much larger than the aluminum single pane windows we replaced so that is the only negative. Weve lost some light in an already dark home. The beauty and ease of use completely makes up for the size of casement. We were kept informed by the New Braunfels store during the manufacturing process. The installation crew was very efficient and they were superb in cleanup. Overall, this company did a terrific job for us!

Love my windows all 22 of them. However, it was disappointing to see that with all the money and resources this company has, they cannot provide a lift basket for the employees. I have 3 story home and it was scary to see the installers on very tall ladders.Thank you all the I stalkers who went to Bandera to do this job.

I was trying to get a window sash replaced and spoke to a man, who told me it was under warranty and the cost would be $75. When I called to check on the status of the order, I was told I had to send a check for $50 to transfer the warranty. After a couple of weeks, I called again for status and was told they received my check and would take 6-8 weeks to receive the sash. I just received a call from the man I originally spoke to and he told me they couldn’t warranty the window after all and the replacement cost is $150. This all seemed very shady to me and when I questioned what had occurred, he became very belligerent and yelled at me. I need to get a replacement window and know I have to order from Window World since the window came from them, but now I don’t trust them and don’t want to work with a company that is so unprofessional. Just a warning to anyone that buys their windows from Window World.Update: since I posted this review, the owner contacted me directly to apologize for my negative experience. He replaced the sash and refunded the money I previously paid. The window was replaced this past week and looks great. The owner then followed up with me yesterday to ensure my satisfaction. People and companies often make mistakes, but it’s all in how you resolve the issue with great customer service to restore customer confidence. They did that and I will definitely recommend them as a company with integrity.

Quality windows, professionally installed. The greatest effect of window replacement is that my upstairs rooms are now at least 10 degrees cooler. It used to be unbearably hot upstairs in the summer months and now its only slightly warmer than downstairs. Excellent results.

Two months after my window and sliding door install. Great results!I replaced 15 windows and one sliding glass door. Now, I keep my thermostat one degree higher on AC which saves about $20 a month on electrical bill. Best benefit though is the noise reduction! My house is very quiet now. And my neighbors are very complementary of my giant picture window facing front yard.Great job, highly recommend!

I replaced all of the old, single pane, aluminum framed windows of my house with all new ones by Window World. From the initial meeting with Hilary (who is awesome!) to the final project completion, everyone was professional and genuinely friendly. I was sent email reminders and was able to schedule the window installment on my schedule. I was wowed by the amazing difference the new windows made to my home. The house is quieter, more efficient, and much more aesthetically appealing! You get quality windows for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Window World to everyone!

Installed new windows in May. Our first norther came in last week, and our heater has not even come on. The house has stayed nice and cozy. These windows will pay for themselves!!

We ordered custom windows and it was nothing but a terrible experience!!! Paid in full when we ordered and found out that the actual order was not processed for a month later! We were given a wait time of 6-8 weeks and 14 1/2 weeks later we received our windows. On the day we were to pick them up, we were informed that it would be another 4 weeks. The customer service from our salesman was non-existent!!! I will never use this company again nor refer them to anyone!!

Since we have purchased from 2 different window replacement companies for our 2 previous homes, I have realistic benchmarks to assess our experience with Window World. After 2 weeks of researching & shopping, we have confidentially ordered windows & French doors from Window World. Their approach was informational and (to my delight) NOT high pressure. Their warranty alone speaks volumes - non-prorated lifetime, and transferable-prorated. Aesthetically, the windows are LOVELY. They are not cheap, but quite competitive in their pricing. The service we have received to date has been stellar. Expectations were set and I am clearly informed of the entire process, up through installation and after. The focus on the customer needs were demonstrated and clearly paramount. I cannot express this aspect enough. Every single question was answered clearly and patiently. We did meet 2 of their staff during the sales process, but Ingemar was (and is) our sales contact. He was absolutely wonderful. I do not hesitate to recommend Ingemar and Window World. Finally, thank you Window World - you guys are just awesome!
