2021 Update: Still the best in SA; $15 FFL transfer fee with your Texas LTC/CHL. Toby contacted me within minutes after receiving my rifle and had everything ready for pickup when I arrived shortly thereafter. As transactions are by appointment only (he is very accommodating on being available to match your schedule), the whole process was smooth and fast, lasting only a few minutes. This continues to be my first choice for FFL transfers.Original review: Excellent FFL services provided at probably the lowest prices in San Antonio! Its a small one-stop FFL shop operated by Toby, who is very friendly and accommodating.I purchased my first NFA item online and Toby made the whole process extremely easy. He has been very timely throughout: sending replies within several hours/same day, contacting me when my item arrived (within an hour or less of arrival), and accommodating my schedule to handle the transfer. He took me through the whole process, from the FFL transfer to preparing and submitting all of the necessary documents/items (application, fingerprints, photos, etc.) within 30 minutes.He maintains a copy of his FFL on his website so you can simply download and provide it to whoever you are purchasing from at the time of purchase, which can save you a couple of days of waiting on the usual back and forth on FFLs (although Toby is very responsive on sending the FFL if the dealer wants it directly from him). He also offers a discount on non-NFA firearms transfers for Texas LTC/CHL holders, which puts his already great prices even lower!All in all, Armadillo Armory has thoroughly impressed me with his services and costs.
