Educated and well informed employees in this shop. From the firearms expert to the tattooist, super chill and kind people. The energy is truly comforting. Not to mention the super cool living room set up in shop. Definitely recommend to check this place out. Whether you need ammo or a new ink....this place is too legit to quit.

I contacted Transfer Station through their website to inquire about a full arm sleeve that incorporated a couple existing tattoos I had and covered one as well. I had some basic ideas in mind, but wanted to leave the art to the artists, especially considering the very quick timeline I had available for the work.Doug quickly responded and put me in touch with Carlos, the lead artist in the shop. Carlos and I exchanged a few messages and he went to work drawing things up. About three weeks later I showed up for the work to begin. We had 4 days to complete what ended up being 17hrs of work and is now the pride of my tattoo collection.In almost 20 years of getting tattoos, I have never worked with a more fun, professional, enthusiastic artist and have never experienced a shop like Transfer Station. Carlos and I are already talking about our next project and I am confident that if I ever make the mistake of getting tattooed by anyone else in the future, I will only be disappointed.

It took over an hour to get the ratio drawn up.Turns out the 1st ratio artist I spoke with really did not want to do a small tattoo.When the small ratio specialist arrived things went fast. Very please with the tattoo. Not too please with the 1st part of the process. Just be honest up front

This place is amazing. Everyone is so kind unlike other tattoo shops or gun stores I’ve been to. I feel welcome and it has a great vibe. They have a really rad VHS collection and you can watch movies or play games while you wait. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone!!

My favorite spot for FFL transfers- fast, kind and very professional. They offer an excellent discount for military and Texas CHL holders, certainly the best value transfer in San Antonio. They even threw a few stickers in with the item! I look forward to using Transfer Station in the future.

Fantastic staff. Super friendly and fairly priced tattoos. The firearms are legit and affordable. Not to mention the cheapest transfer deals in San Antonio. Federal and state licensed all across the board. Cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in. Definitely recommend you get a tattoo or some sweet guns.

Extremely military friendly!!!By far the cheapest firearm transfer in San Antonio for us military folks. I dont do tattoos, but the place is very clean and the owner is very friendly. there was no rush to get me out the door after I got my firearm, he was perfectly happy BSing with me until I had to leave.
