Fast service, very polite, helpful employees. They fixed my electrical connection for the brake lights and tail lights in 10 minutes or less. I always go to this shop off Vance -Jackson. They are my favorite shop in town. I hope they are there forever.🙏😁

Fast in and fast out. Parking can be a challenge at this location, so I just find any random spot the car fits and hope for the best.

Efficient, professional, friendly. This is how you want your exchange to go. In and out, we reserved online two days before and showed up on time for pickup. With a line, of other online reservations in front of us, we were out in less than 10 minutes.

Terrible system Uhaul has! I had to take measures into my own hands when I found out they were trying to charge me almost 3x the price from what was advertised online for renting a trailer to haul my car because of their error! This Delayed my travel plans for almost 2 hours because the employees had no initiative to try and help me look further into the issue! Never using Uhaul again! Might as well use Penske !

Worst customer experience I have literally ever had with a company in my life. Joe cancelled our reservation, and refused to reinstate it, even after corporate told him to. Constant lies about why they wouldn’t rent us the truck we booked and paid for 3 weeks ago. Porque somos latinos me pregunto? U-Haul should pull his franchise. Don’t give him your money.

The front desk guys were nice and answered all my questions.However i rented a 15’ moving truck. I only used it for 8 miles, as the employee who inspected the truck when i returned, stated.For an 8 mile trip, it cost me $22 to refill back to previous gas line of halfway.The rental truck itself was in horrific condition. It needed an alignment real bad and seemed like it was about to die on me at any second.I only used it to move my stuff from my apartment near Crossroads Mall and back to the Uhaul Storage Unit.I wouldnt suggest renting a truck from here for long distances.

Gave good info. Manager seemed interested. A bit pricy for some things. I recently moved and needed supplies. I didnt buy from them because I got my own boxes for free and had packing tape. Bit researching my options here wasnt totally bad.

Chris Lama at the Vance Jackson location went above and beyond for us . We had bought all the wrong equipment and didn’t know how to put the trailer on . He helped us every step of the way and explained all safety requirements and tips. Going through a divorce is very hard and it was comforting to find a good, friendly, patient person like him today . He made the transition a lot easier than expected because we had no idea how we were going to hook up the trailer . I definitely recommend this store and especially Chris ! He is respectful and patient . U-Haul you should be honored to have him ! Thank you again !

They had no U-Haul available but referred me to another U-Haul place that did have it and I appreciate that everyone being safe and mask were worn.

The guy working there is incompetent and the only thing he wants is to take money. He had no problem charging my card a piece of equipment I never got and told me that if I pay card I won’t get a deposit. It’s only with cash and I had the cash at the time but the loser didn’t even tell me the total before he charged me and me, being the trusting person I am, gave my card to him. Customer service online told me I’m getting my deposit back either way, but I’m fighting hard to get it back along with my refund that this guy charged me extra for. I also put my pickup and drop off location in the same location and he lied to me by saying I couldn’t do that when I clearly reserved it online for that specification. He sent me all the way to Bandera and 1604 and charged me 20 extra miles. This company is trash; this location is the whole dumpster.

Terrible the trailer they attached just kept bouncing I have driven all their trailers before and never experienced this issue. I did call Uhaul and was on hold forever!! The representative Mary said she would call ahead for a trailer swap well I got to dealer and they had NOT RECIEVED ANY CALL FROM MARY! The Uhaul rep swapped out the trailer but did NOT ADJUST THE PRICE seeing as the swap was a smaller trailer, he said he was only an employee and manager Carlos will have to make price adjustment. They gave me the same contract with same pricing for larger trailer and had not adjusted the return time ; seeing as I didnt drive off their lot til 5:45PM! If you are left working there with NO manager on property then you should be given the skill set and authority to make the necessary adjustments due the customer!!!

Beware!!!!...I had the worst experience with the personnel at this location. I needed to take my furniture to Mexico’s border and went to ask them if it was possible to go across the border with the truck, I was very clear, my wife was with me, I asked if the truck could go over the Border bridge to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and the guy said looking at his monitor “yes, the system says yes, no problem”, I made myself clear saying I read some comments saying Uhaul trucks were not allowed in Mexico but he kept saying yes as long as we returned it back to Laredo TX after unloading it. So we went ahead and made the reservation. The Friday we picked the truck they handed me one that looked ok and I started to drive it but when I saw the gas tank gauge and remember what the guy who handed it to me wrote I knew something was wrong. Yes he wrote on the contract 3/4 of when it had 1/4 and when checked the miles the document showed over 250 miles less of the truck’s odometer. When I confronted him he acted as if had been gotten on a wrong move. Anyway he changed the truck for me and this time he was precise on the information.We loaded it and early the next day on Saturday drove from San Antonio to Laredo and went across the border whet Mexican officials told us we could not pass with the truck so after 20 minutes of talking my family stayed in NuevoLaredo since we were traveling to Aguascalientes, I had to call the truck company that was waiting for us to transfer our furniture to cancel the trip paying canceling fees, I had to hire a brocket to get out stag across the border but it could be done until Wednesday so we had to pay all the Uhaul rent beside all the trouble these guys got us into just for doing a reservation and either answering being ignorant or evil. Afer solving our very expensive problem, went to this location. To file a claim and try to get some of the spent money back . The attendant was the one who handed me the truck, he typed something in the computer, and gave me a “claim number”, that I used to call Uhaul Costumer Service three times to have as result that nothing could be done since the guy who made our reservation said he did not tell us we could take the truck across the border, so what else can we do?, only share our experience so this does not happen to anyone else....

Weve used U-haul before in an out of town move, an out of state move & an across town move, all of them have been easy to set up & execute. We definitely love U-haul & will use their services again if the need arises.

Got forwarded from the other location as they do not have vehicles. This location looked stocked and ready to go. They are in the process of revamping the main building so crammed business inside a trailer on the side. Anyway, as they have the moving van which is cheaper on daily rental and mileage rate, I asked and got one. Uneventful returned the vehicle after hours.When I got the emailed bill, I got charged for the full size truck and full size truck mileage rate. It effectively doubles the expected cost of the rental.Tried to call back to their office during hours and got no answer or voicemail, just ... rings then disconnects.Im stressed enough trying to help my daughter move out of her dorm...this does not help my stress level.Anyway... buyers beware... place is a rip off. Keep your copy of rental agreement and do not drop that in the drop box or you know what will happen.

Easy to rent. Decent prices. Ongoing problem, ordered a trailer hitch 6 weeks ago, still not in. Supply chain issues but six going on seven weeks waiting is a long time.

Called in and made a same day reservation for pick-up of a car tow dolly that I needed within an hour. Went to the store and they were able to help me out despite me coming in earlier than my reservation time. The two guys working the store were very helpful and polite (despite it getting so busy) and helped me find the right tow light adapter and ensured I had everything I needed to tow properly.

Was over charged by $50. Sent an email about it to the store with no reply. Their facility is disgusting to... Went to use the restroom and someone elses pee was left in there. Lines are crazy long and pretty hard to get in and out of the location if you hit it at the wrong time. Just rent a truck from Home Depot instead.

This is actually a really good U-Haul store to go get your U-Haul truck from they also have a lot of packing supplies and youre moving Essentials dollies for rent you can also get trucks and pretty much everything you need to move not too expensive for a truck at least to move out of a 1-bedroom not too far from your current location

Called for a quote on trailer and lady on phone would not give me quote without giving my personal info first. Why does she need my name and number for a quote? I refused to give her info and she told me to call elsewhere and hung up on me. Horrible customer service. Glad I’m not doing business with this company

Helpful staff

Always make a reservation online prior to walking into any one of these rental places. They did not want to rent me a 26 footer because they said they were all reserved until I called the corporate office after explaining my situation, which required a rental for only 6 hours. They give me an address to pick up at and as it turns out, I had just left that location! I drove back after just making it home and one phone call changed everything. I drove off the lot in a 26 footer 20 minutes later with only $100 cash; deposit included. It was disturbing since there were at least 12 trucks of all sizes just sitting there doing nothing.

Been here a few times and always helpful and fast and. Nice too...way better than the overcrowded san pedro store where you wait foreveeer.

Watch carefully the receipts....They tend to put cash refund for your deposit!Tell you its being refunded to the card...!If you dont catch it in time, you got robbed!As far as the customer service, absolutely horrible.There are other locations. Id suggest using a different location.

I have rented all my trailer needs from this locations because of Mike. Just recently I have a major issue with my trailer light wiring. On Easter Sunday Mike and his crew rewired my truck and fixed the issue. Only charged for the parts!! Great group of guys.

The truck was dirty inside ..water bottles and food ! And the traiker inside was dirtt as well. But they made it very clear they charge for a dirty returned truck. So why not have it cleaned before the next person gets it.

Came in to rent a 6x12 trailer The manager Megeaul was very helpful and informative. My trailer was then hooked to vehicle by Ernesto, who throughly informed me of the correct procedure of coupling the trailer.When I left the store I was very satisfied with my experience. After I made it to my destination, which was only 2 miles from the rental location, I noticed my hazard lights on the trailer had stopped working. When I went back to the location I informed them of the problem and they went above and beyond to fix the issue and get me rolling again.

Every time I use them I am satisfied. The time you have to wait is the same time that is spent with you making sure you have all you need. Be patient, youre moving, its stressful, calm down. Remember, none of us get out of here alive, relax.

These guys are pathetic. Terrible customer service. It took me 2 weeks and 4 visits to get a trailer hitch installed correctly.I would rather drag a houseful of furniture down the highway by myself, piece by piece, than do business with these people again.-Dont call when work is done-Dont know status of work when asked-reschedule online appointments without calling the customer to inform them-Take much longer than estimate to complete work-Dont complete work in a satisfactory manner

As if moving wasnt stressful enough, the manager has a bad attitude. I walked in and stood in front of his desk to get some service and he didnt even acknowledge me! He just kept typing on his computer!

Spent 40 minutes for check out then they left a lock closed I couldnt load the truck . Call uhaul road assistance to open the lock.. they took 2 hours to get there. Very bad experience with uhaul.
