Ended up at over 40% the quoted price, 4 weeks past expected time before I was able to drive my vehicle safely (had to take it somewhere else) still missing functions that were present before I took my vehicle here with no explanation except call us back if you still cant figure it out. Great guy but wont be going back.

Dave Wert does excellent work at a fair price. He is an honest guy and he doesn’t con his customers into getting work done that doesn’t need to be done or that they didn’t ask for. Ive been going to Daves for two years now after my experience with Big O. He is an honest and fair mechanic. He always gives me a price upfront and never have I been charged more than that price. He sometimes takes a little long, but for a shop with only a handful of people he moves pretty quickly through his work. I have recommended Dave to everyone I know and will continue to do so.

Daves shop isnt pretty, but the cost savings are BEAUTIFUL! He has saved me SO much $$, especially on my kids vehicles. Example: my sons Toyota trucks differential. He took it to a place down the street (he didnt follow Dads directions to find Daves somewhat out of the way place), and was quoted a price higher than the value of the truck :( I pushed it from there down the street to Dave who replaced the differential for approximately 40% of what the other place quoted. Dave literally saved the truck.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE My name is Steve and I have been in the auto repair business for 30 years and have seen a lot of shady and questionable repairs and once in a great while I get the misfortune to see one that should be talked about. My boss recently purchased a 1999 Chevy Venture from a friend.The van suddenly lost power at highway speed and quit running. We diagnosed a faulty head gasket which is common with these cars at around 140k miles. After removing the cylinder heads we were shocked and amazed at what we saw. During dis assembly we found missing hardware (i.e. loose coil pack and various brackets) and a loose lower manifold and broken exhaust studs. the loose manifold bolts caused coolant to fill cylinder #3 then cylinder #2 and eventually hydro locked at highway speed. This bent intake valves on cylinders 2 and 3, caused the timing chain to skip bending intake valve on cylinder 6. Mr Wert, find another profession and stop ripping people off!

Frank Gardner has never taken his car to our business, Steve Bubba has never taken his car to our shop and neither have the other low stars too bad Google does not check that out you think they would of gone to the BAR but they did not because they are bogus reviews

They charged my wifes 83 year old mother $500 to fix her Buick. When 30 days later it broke down again they just said it was too old to fix. Could have told her that before they took her $500 bucks.She is too old to be driving anymore anyways. But $500 was a ripoff.
