A simple but yet perfect breakfast. The waffle was fluffy and light. Not thick and dry. The egg and bacon cooked perfectly.Customer service was at the highest level from all the staff. I had my daughters Boston Terrier with me and the staff were cautious not to pat her because they were on their way inside to work. So impressivethey were following hygienic protocol.The menu has a great selection for breakfast and lunch. Cant wait to go back.

Everything we had was DELICIOUS I loved the salmon avocado bagel and my husband said hed drive all the way back here just for the huevos rancheros bagel! A lovely spot, definitely worth going out of the way for. good coffee drinks, excellent teas and very tasty homemade granola but nicest of all is the genuinely warm reception guests receive from staff and the proprietors.

Visited this place while down in the Aliso Viejo area, a must stop, wife ordered the Fuel Shack Salad abd added Chicken, I had the Awesome Avacado and our son had the half Turbocado, all was amazing, staff very friendly and checked on us often, very nice place. Will be back!

I was so worried that this local gem wasnt going to survive these past months of being shuttered. This morning I stopped by for coffee and one of their amazing cinnamon rolls.The foot traffic was constant as were those driving by stopping for lattes and Fuel Shacks incredible breakfast avocado toast.As for me, the cinnamon roll with just the right amount of cinnamon and icing that covers the pastry but not too sugary sweet has been devoured and Im taking not one but two lemon poppy seed muffins home for future cravings!Go! Support! Enjoy!

The food and drinks are all delicious. Loved the Dana Point Acai bowl, the Salmon bagel sandwich, the PB&Banana sandwich, and the Turcado sandwich. The green machine oat milk lavendar matcha latte is so good iced! Everything has an extra touch that is appreciated. Theyre taking great precautions around coronavirus safety as well. Thank you!

I love this new place. It is a great stop for coffee and a place to relax and hang out. The owner is so loving and kind. Very warm and a local in the area. I have known of this place before it opened and got to know the owner. She is bright and warm and really portrays that through her food and the atmosphere at the cafe. Her food is amazing and caters to all kinds of dietary lifestyle. She has something for everyone. Whether its her delicious banana bread or mimosas, you will find something yummy to indulge in. My favorite is their avocado bread. Yum! As new as the cafe is, it has a feeling of always being apart of the neighborhood.

Incredible!Im not sure what the guys name is who helped us (he was in a pink face mask and had a beard) but he answered all of our questions, made recommendations, and made us feel so beyond welcome. A very charming little shop! I only got to enjoy a cold brew, which was similar to an acidic dark chocolate drink 😍 the food I glanced at while walking through looked incredibly delicious, and the little signs of encouragement spread throughout the cafe was a wonderful touch 💙

Love this place! My hubby and I have passed this numerous times and always wanted to stop in.We tried it during the pandemic so the whole menu isnt available but my oh my - everything weve had has been so delicious!! Not to mention the great service - almost like a small town feelPictured here is my favorite (so far) - the Palisades Açaí bowl and my hubbys fav the Huevos Rancheros Bagel Sammy.**not pictured is the yummy bran muffin - fresh and flavorful**Seating is limited as the restaurant is open with limitations due to Covid but there is a great park right up the street - Pines Park that I highly recommend taking your meal to and catching some great views.Cant wait to experience this fully and try more on their menu once all the restrictions are cleared!

We stopped by for a quick treat and are so glad we found this gem. The banana bread is FIRE! Nothing like we’ve ever had.Delicious food aside, the owner herself came out with a big smile and the entire place seems to radiate the same way. It’s a small place but it’s got a great vibe and we’ll definitely be back.

I highly recommend the tropical waffle, the awesome avocado was also delicious. Owner and staff were amazingly friendly. Outstanding customer service. The restaurant is cozy and has a small town feel. The Fuel Shack is conveniently located near I- 5. Highly recommended if you are near San Clemente.

Oh my gosh! pulled off the road on our way to San Diego and spotted this place. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for! EVERYONE was so helpful & nice & the food was AMAZING! they even brought us a complimentary banana mini bread SO DELICIOUS& it was best grilled cheese Ive ever had! the iced coffee & housemade vanilla syrup was perfect💜 I hope to come back again✌

Food was very good. The Tinga chicken waffles were delicious, the berry cold oats on point, and a beautiful and tasty avocado toast & egg. coffee was not great, cold fast as cups are not heated before coffee added. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff.

Searched for a nearby bakery, and up popped Fuel Shack. Was warmly greeted and welcomed by the owner. I bravely ordered the Chicken Tinga Waffles without asking the contents and was pleasantly surprised when what looked like the inside of a burrito on a waffle was quickly delivered. Black beans, ranchero chicken and cheese on top of a waffle? Yes, and oh was it great. Thank you for the hospitality and the good eats!

This is a nice cozy spot with a real family like vibe. Great service and food homestyle food, every thing is fresh and hand made and delicious. We tried the avocado bread with eggs and bacon as well as one of the best homemade blue berry muffins I had, had in a long time. Definitely a good spot to eat and relax with warm cup of coffee.

So I went to the Fuel Shack this afternoon. Walking in the decor is lovely and inviting. I was greeted by the owner with singing and dancing which I participated in with her. Lol I had her avocado breakfast sandwich which was fabulous. I have a sweet tooth and all her pastries were calling my name.😁So I ordered her cinnamon cake,,, delicious, I had her chocolate chip cookie,,,the bomb! HahahaI will be back soon to try some other dishes and see the owners lovely face. Im proud of you my dear. Love and much success!

$12 for a terrible waffle and bad coffee.Pass!For a place that supposedly specializes in waffles this is not good.The waffle was stale and so cold it didnt even melt the butter.I wont be coming back... Disappointing... This is in my neighborhood... I wanted it to be good.
