Toyota was super busy as soon as I pulled into the service area and I was still greeted immediately and was told that my advisor would be with me very soon. I only waited about 2 minutes for my advisor Charlie Quiroz and he was very friendly and welcoming. He asked what services I came in for and I told him for a regular service check/oil change. I told him that my tire service light was on and he said it wouldn’t be a problem to check it for me. He checked me in super quick and asked for any additional services that I needed. Charlie informed me what my possible service charges would possibly be if I needed to get my tire patched or replaced. I did a drop off and he said he would call/text me with any additional information if needed and when my car is done. I received a call from Charlie about my tire needing to be replaced and he told me the price over the phone as well and gave me the option of changing it there or going somewhere else. I decided to have Toyota replace my tire. Charlie called me as soon as my car was being done serviced. When I went back to pick up my car Charlie got me checked out super quick and pulled my car up with little to no wait time. I would definitely be returning for more future serviced and would 100% recommend others to do so as well!
Just got my 30K maintenance done and even though they were swamped with people; my wait was minimal. Patty was the best! She was quick & very kind… great customer service. My only disappointment was that after spending over $250 and letting them have my car all day… they didn’t do a car wash which I thought was part of the package but this is obviously not a big deal. Overall I was very satisfied with my service.

I just stopped by at the service area for a transmission fluid change and I was approached by one of the Toyota service writer by the name of Mr. Sean Lindenberger who in one way accommodate me for the service, to my expectations I was impressed the service he rendered was overwhelming and not to mention he’s groups of mechanics that makes the Toyota numbers one in TRUST! Keep in mind I’m driving an old Toyota Tacoma 2002 which I don’t expect they will treat it as a new truck! End of discussions.To add more to reviews the crew or staff that works behind and represent Toyota Service Department makes a big impact in service they carry the prestige name of Toyota Company. Patty is wonderful and super helpful. I would have given five stars but as I was driving home a light on my dash turned on. It’s the flat tire light. No obvious flat tire and I can’t take it anywhere today being Sunday. However, I wish this had happened while my car was getting serviced yesterday.

Brought my vehicle in for an appointment I scheduled. They almost immediately tagged it and let me know who my advisor was. Shortly after, my advisor addressed my issues and concerns and gave me a price for payment on completion. I also requested a detailed list of any issues found from the inspection. When I went to pick up my car I had already received a link via text with a breakdown of all items that passed and those which would need immediate service. Overall I was extremely pleased with their service and my advisor Kevin.

Having a free pickup and drop off service was really nice too, I was expecting to have to sit around the lobby for hours but instead was able to hang out at home while they worked on my car. Ive taken my Toyota to KM Toyota for service for the last three years. My service adviser Kien has provided excellent, consistent customer service. Hes very honest about what my car needs and what can wait until my next service date. I trust that my car is in good hands at KM Toyota. The customer service is pretty good here. However, I had an appointment at 10:40 am. I got to dealership about 10:20 am. I went in for a tire rotation and oil change. They estimated about 3 hours. I went for a walk and returned 3 hours later. The associate had me go back into his office then proceeded to tell me about how my vehicle needed a fuel induction, brake fluid and said I could use new tires. He then asked if I wanted to proceed with having these services done today. I advised him I will have these services performed on my next visit. He understood and said hell have my car out in a few minutes. It still took 1 more hour to complete my car. My total time spent at toyota dealership for an oil change and tire rotation was 4 hours. My concern is, why didnt I receive a simple phone call asking if I would like to proceed with the extra services? I specifically left mobile phone number just in case something like this came up. Next time Ill sit in the waiting area and hope the estimated time is a bit more accurate.
I brought my Prius in for its 10,000 mile service. Quang was very friendly and professional getting me checked in, and the car was actually done a little earlier than estimated. Very nice experience.
I went in for my check engine light. I worked with Patty and she was very courteous and professional. She took the time to explain to me that it was actually a problem with the way I placed my gas cap back on vs an actual problem with the vehicle. I have had Patty as my service provider in the past and she has always been honest and straightforward about the condition of my vehicle and what repairs or replacements I would need. I was not charged for the issue with my check engine light/ gas cap. This is one of the reasons why I continue to return to Kearny Mesa Toyota and Patty for my future vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Their teamwork was efficient. I was provided with an Uber driver to take me home and to give me a ride back to the dealer. My car door handle was repaired in a timely manner. I value their services.
After a horrible experience at Mossy Toyota in PB (due to the manager yelling at me and disrespecting me) when I was trying to buy my car, I was hesitant coming here for my car’s service.Thanks to Patty, that all went away. We brought in our 2020 RAV4 for its 10K Required Maintenance. Setting up appointment has been pretty easy. When we got there Advisor Freddy Gonzales has been very cordial and pleasant, a good reflection of the company’s culture and character. After an hour, the work was done and we were alerted in 3 separate media: Voice call, Text Message and Email.The vehicle also was bought from here and we look forward to availing its long-term services in the future.

I scheduled my 100K service. The day before I realized that my DMV registration renewal required a recall certificate. Charlie Quiroz was able to squeeze in the software update/recall. Charlie kept me apprised of what service was done, what was needed and what was reccomended. I called other companies to compate prices. Although it was slighty cheaper at the other location, it wouldve required another day with another vendor. Since my vehicle was already there, I went with the additional reccomended service with Kearny Mesa Toyota.I couldnt have been more pleased with the customer service and complimentary coffee and Lyft ride home! They didnt have any discounts posted on their website, however Charlie was able to honor a 10% military discount. Thank you!

Random lights showed up in control panel (not check engine light), so I took in for service. They ran full diagnostics and did routine maintenance for 10,000 miles over my actual mileage (60,000 on a 2012 Camry) in an abundance of caution. Found nothing wrong. Lights continue to come on in the days since. Taking the car back to continue trying to resolve. Also needed a new hubcap for one that disappeared off my wheel.
They replace the inside door handle on the driver side. They did it very quickly and efficiently and I was very very happy!

It was the 1st service on my Camry LE. I didnt know that the oil change was not included. It still took a while to complete. That would have been ok . There was a beeping sound from a fan on the TV. Or thats what they told me. One TV was not working. I had to go up on the showroom floor to get away. I was upset and very annoyed. By all of this. And the service man said oh there you are I have been looking for you. He could have called me. He was a very nice guy and I would come back to him in the future. But I think I would check the waiting room first. And go somewhere else if it was not corrected.You should to before loosing any Happy customers. Thank you

Service and recall completed, only have problem that I have to service charges of oil change on 17600 miles. This cost should be covered by Toyota services. Service engineer told me that your service warranty expired on 4/24/2021. I have called in past to get service is done but did not get the appointment. I dont remember the service is expired in 2 years but mileage is not. I would say it not fare for the customer. Either dealer has to call us that your service is going to expire on such and such date or they have to honor the mile on the car.

While driving my Prius in a highway the Check Hybrid System warning suddenly appeared and the engine stop responding. Fortunately, the car was able to turn back on after few resting minutes. I drove the next 2 hours with the same warning light but the engine was not responsive until Power Mode. When take it to the service the following day, KMT Technicians could not find anything wrong, but the code in the computer noticing something failed, what bothers is the uncertainty the car would work properly the next time I use it. I feel that the KMT could do more for the $159 fee other than just checking computer error codes.

I brought my Sienna to KMT to have it detailed inside and out. The clay bar / wax left the paint looking great and feeling perfectly smooth. Inside the carpet and upholstery looked like new.

I left a review for this Toyota location, however I’d like to reflect, clarify, and be fair.I bought a new Toyota Corolla 2020 in April 2020 during Covid. They did meet our standards in providing a white car with light interior, which my subsidiary preferred due to less attention from police pull- overs as well as reflecting heat from the interior. We were able to successfully negotiate a trade-in of my old Toyota Corolla 2010 for credit they paid for the taxes and other DMV fees. I’m happy with the condition of the car, and was unaware at the time that the car came equipped with autonomous features ie: beeping when your above to bump the car in front of yours. I was wonderfully surprised that the car’s computer system saw a potential accident before me and automatically stopped the car circumventing a bad collision (my lever was still in drive!)With all this positivity there were a couple frustrating experiences due to the dashboard signs/ signals that come up and then disappear after you start the car. I spoke to two different Toyota representatives and they told me to bring the car in immediately. Before going to the dealership (24 miles round trip.) I intuitively took the car to the Auto Zone (AZ) down the street. They explained at AZ that revealed an illuminated red sign constantly coming on. According to Toyota, I needed to buy steering wheel fluid to remove the sign. AZ said they didn’t carry that steering wheel fluid compatible to the model of my new car because AZ was right and as soon as I arrived to the dealership, the rep cleared up the issue in TWO sentences and said I didn’t need to the dealership (ie: waste of time, energy, and money). The light was fine and normal. Toyota could’ve very easily explained after I talking extensively about my situation TWO Toyota representatives)via the telephone).I should have listened to Auto Zone because a seasoned worker specifically stated my model of car doesn’t offer compatible steering wheel fluid. Like the car, but the communication was, or lack there of was annoying and caused me to waste a lot of time feeling lol I was on a wild goose chase!
Service was prompt and efficient. I would have preferred if the seats had been returned to their original positions before returning the vehicle.
KM Toyota fixed the recall for the passenger side airbags. When I arrived for my appointment they took me right in, no waiting, Patty came out and went over what they were doing, gave me a time frame and got started on my car. Everyone in the service department wer very nice and polite, but Patty made my whole experience with KM Toyota a really great one, even though she was busy when I came to pick my car up later, Patty took the time to come out, thank me for coming in and wish me a good rest of my weekend. Its always a nice touch, knowing your customer rep has had a lot of other customers throughout their day that they remember you, especially when they remember your name. I will definitely be back and will reccomend to my friends and family. 10 out of 10 5 star rating

The oil change was completed promptly. The only lingering problem is with the tires. Its not the dealers fault. The Cal Air Resource Board requires dealers to lower the hot tire pressure on the car to the car manufacturers cold tire suggested pressure. Thus, when you depart, your tires are underinflated. Gas mileage falls and air pollution increases. It is my responsibility to inflate the tires to the manufacturers cold tire pressure (or slightly above) to get optimum performance.
Scheduled my appointment online and when I dropped off the car, the service tech told me exactly what was needed and completed all services in a timely manner and kept me up to date and well informed!

I purchased my Toyota from another nearby Toyota dealership and it was by far the worst car buying experience Ive ever had. So I was never going to use them for service. I decided to go with Kearney Mesa Toyota for my service and after experiencing some of the best customer service ever from a dealer, I wish I had gone to them for my auto purchase. Theyve earned a loyal customer.

Its a nice place to wait while your car is in for its 5,000 mile maintenance. We got an oil change and I would say we only waited an hour. Because of Covid you do have to wear a mask and socially distance. There are vending machines and an espresso machine. The maintenance service rep was nice and was good at answering our questions. The entrance to the service garage is weird, feels like a bus depot and parking is confusing because you have to park your car behind a long line of cars... sometimes there is no room and you and your car have to wait on the road before you can get into the service station. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

I was early to my appointment, doing the 20K mileage services and recall service on the fuel pump. I was offered an Uber, the rep was very professional, all services were completed in a timely manner.
Didn’t have an appointment and they still took me right in. My normal service provider was not in so Manuel handled my car. Service was very fast and I was out of there in no time.
I felt the service was very good. The quote on my front and rear brakes was not competitive. It was almost $1,000.00 . I would honestly rather of had it done there but it was too much. Thanks
I’ve brought my car consistently here because my spouse felt paying the extra money was worth because they know what they are doing. Boy was I wrong. They do minor repairs fine (my experience). The last time we brought our van in for service, it took them 3 days to tell us “they recommended a head gasket repair” and quoted us $6000, “and to inspect further” which means they didn’t really know the issue because they didn’t actually take the time to find out. I’d like to believe that over incompetence. I let a friend know about my experience and received a good recommendation at another car repair place. Come to find out I needed lifters replaced, it took an additional hour of labor which I approved and the cost was $1500. They also tested my head gasket and said it was perfectly fine. Will never return to Kearny Mesa Toyota Service despite being a long time customer. I Also left a message with the director of the service center because that’s who they transfer me to when I asked for a manager, only to never receive a call back. They are just too busy and just don’t have the time I guess?
Please avoid this Toyota dealership, specifically the service center! The service agents will try and take advantage of you offering various services. Not to mention their customer service Is on par with the DMV….Youre better off taking your money and throwing it out the window. Please avoid this place.

Battery concern- failed load test, corrosion on terminals, new battery for $317.10. The battery is less than half way to warranted term of 84 months & it is a toyota battery! So why did a Toyota service not notice that?Should I trust the other problems they noted needed immediate attention????
I needed a new battery and they were able to accommodate me quickly; however my only issue was not being quoted the full price. I was only told the price of the battery, not the full service price. That needs to be told to the customer prior to them coming in. Sometimes people don’t have an extra $200.00 on them.
Great service, no issues to schedule appt and they did fix all the issues that or problems the car had, but I do have a minor complaint, they are like robots, other than when you give the car keys, all the issues and communication are through messages or email, I waited on site for the car si it was weird to no one talking to my about the issues or show me the report unless I ask about it, anyways great work.

I came for only one new tire change at 1:30 pm on Monday 22nd, they told me the estimate wait was 1hr 30min and I was okay with it, I even thought it could take 2 hours Max, so I decided to wait inside. With no updates from the person who was helping me at first, and no messages or calls about how was the process of my car. I waited until pass 5pm with nothing of communication, even the lady who “Help me” left without giving me my car. If I knew or if they gave me any updates I would it decided to go home and come back later. I ask 2 times about how was the process of my car and the employees couldn’t tell me nothing, and at the end after 5pm I ask again, and didn’t know if my car was ready?, that it wasn’t even on the system?.. very disappointing, because I always had great service here. Plus the lady that was in the cashier couldn’t tell me anything, she just was like “oh, idk. There’s no manager” and handle me the paper for how much I was going to paid.
Initially when I got there as a walk in, I didnt have an appointment. Didnt wait too long. I was then greeted so friendly with an technical, who welcomed me, how Im doing and what did I come in today. After telling him why I was coming in. He also offered me other options/ suggestions as well. Wel I took his suggestion and meet up with Service Technican Patty. OMG, Patty was great! Same level of service provided when I was waiting my turn to get some assistance. Same thing. Paty offered options, I told her suggestions..She got me an early AM appointment last Monday. Such level of excellence. Thank you so much Patty and Technican guy, who greeted me. In Paty, technican guy even remembered me from first time and still have awesome customer service. I always come to this dealership for my service and I’ve never had an issue. However, after spending 1k on tires, I’d at least hope they’d wipe down the wheels from the soap they use to put them on. Kinda disappointed

Always been an in and out service with no hassle even when I purchased my Tacoma and had 2 bubbles in my tint. taken care of same day with tint installer.
